he podido probar este plugin y funciona correctamente. Lo que verías es que no termina de tomar todos los estilos porque estos van asociados al page builder que usa Flamingo, basado en Visual Composer. Luego todos estos estilos habría que reescribirlos usando la clase general de este otro builder.

Básicamente habría que sustituir en style.css las clases referentes a visual composer (algo así como wpb_wrapper) por las del plugin que quieres usar, que por lo que veo es algo así -> #fbuilder_wrapper.

Esto require de unos conocimientos básicos de css, nosotros te podemos orientar en ello, pero no podríamos hacer las modificaciones por ti.

No pretendo que compres el theme y que no te sea de utilidad, sino todo lo contrario. Este fue desarrollado para trabajar con Visual Composer en este sentido. Si decides finalmente usar Flamingo con Frontend Builder, deberás asumir que hay que hacer un trabajo de estilos para lograr que todos esos componentes sea un “calco” de los que entran por Visual Composer.

La compatibilidad de Flamingo y Frontend builder es buena. Pero como digo, deberás trabajar los estilos un poco. Por defecto, sin tocar nada, funciona bastante bien. Pero lograr el estilo que buscas necesitará de algo de trabajo por tu parte.

De todos modos, si estás interesado, puedes abrir un ticket de soporte y puedo darte más datos al respecto.

Sorry…a couple more questions. My developer is having a few issues that we hope can be fixed. I have the minimal layout. 1. When clicking on the Projects “text” not the image/box, but the actual word above the boxed images, it takes you to a page called Archive. When clicking on the boxed images, it takes you to the correct Project page. Do you know what’s going on? 2. The blog page’s social media icons on the bottom of the page are large colored diamonds, not small subtle icons like the rest of the pages. 3. When transferring the paypal plugin/snippet, from my old theme to your theme, the paypal button is stretched and is an unrecognizable button. Do you know if we need to re write the code or install a new paypal plugin? Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

About the paypal button, I guess it will have its own styles that it is possible could conflict with some theme´s styles. Open a support ticket and provide us with an admin user/pass to your site and we will take a look to it.

Of course! I am wondering if I can make the portfolio grids (ie., ajax, four column) so that they simply open up as lightbox images instead of linking to a portfolio entry…Thanks Van.

Hi Jamie,

this is not possible with the “portfolio” template page. But instead you could use a default page template with the ‘image gallery’ widget that lets you create grids that will open using prettyPhoto with a lightbox look. Notice that these grids don´t work like the core grid you find in portfolio template or using the ‘Project Grid’ widget that displays the hover features and the standard styles.

you have available all these widgets to work with the theme and some other shortcodes to create quotes or big titles y a very easy way using a shortcode manager within the TinyMCE.

Hi there, Thanks for your prompt reply. Actually, like text fields, there are effects when hover and clicks but on drop down menu can I stylise by using CSS class if you added in this theme.

uhm.. I´m not sure, but in any case, the hover effects in inputs elements or text areas are dependant on this rule:

body .wpcf7 input:hover, body .wpcf7 textarea:hover {
border: 5px solid #000;
}

In this case, just add any other elements that could work in the same way and it should be working well.

Yeah, this is due to some core wordpress logics that does not allow us to display the tag in the same way that the other pages. We are searching a good solution for this detail.

you can enable a slideshow with minimal layout enabled, but you won´t be able to add a background slideshow because the minimal layout is not ready for this. If you open the page builder, you will see there a lot of widgets, just notice the one called ‘Project slideshow’ or you could use even the ‘Image gallery’ in order to display images in a slideshow.

About the social tag, just add this simple rule to your custom css:

.inner-subfooter h5 { display: none; }

Flamingo is ready to create project streams with a lot of tools to show any kind of contents. If I understand well, you would like to use the project grid as direct “launcher” for your contents, something like a lightbox view, right? If it is the case, I must to say that the standard grid is not ready to work in this way, but instead of it, you could use a default page and use the standard gallery with some lightbox system like prettyphot or colorbox. The only restriction in this sense will be that the thumbs created for these grids won´t be equal to the portfolio one, I mean, they won´t display the hover interaction and the customizations options for this won´t be available.

I´m sorry to say that the slider has not this option. But I think we could help with it playing with some css, I´m not sure because I would need to make a test with it first, but I think we can help in this sense. So please, open a support ticket and we will take a look closer to this issue.

The slider does not display title and subtext every second slide on the iPad and iPhone.

this is weird because I can´t see any problem wit the titles in the slider with an iPad/iPhone and no other users have reported something similar. I would like to help in this sense, so I suggest you to opening a support ticket and there provide us with an admin pass/user and site URL in order to know more about this weird issue.
