Hi,
I’ve purchased the theme and am using the boxed theme option.
How is it possible to: 1. Make sections behind text a different colour, full width? (Currently, if I have a full width section, it doesn’t reach to the edge of the box.) 2. Make images reach full width of the box, without using a slider?

Also, I’ve deleted the default ‘About Me’ page and added a new one. However, I cannot change the url to be www.url.com/about-me – it’s as if your page still exists. How do I fix that?

1. Use the full width section, but make sure to use the 100% width page template with it. Select 100% width in the page attributes box.
2. Same as above, use full width section with 100% width template.
3. Make sure the page is removed from the trash too, that should do the trick. But you may need to delete both, empty the trash then make the new one again. Just copy and paste the content.

Are you using a special size for that one? I am wanting to update my WP to 3.8 release. any plans to update your theme version to the new version ( released a few hours ago ) – Wanting to know if I should wait for your update before updating WP 3.7 to WP 3.8 Thanks

We are already using WP 3.8 on our test sites and everythign works fine so far. The only thing we noticed is that theme options now has larger check boxes and text headings, which we will fix in our v3.2.2 update coming in 5-8 days. But everything works, its just a visual difference.
WP 3.8 is nice too!
I have purchased the Avada theme and used it for one client. Now another client wants to use this theme. Do I simply re-purchase it on your main purchase page to acquire a second license? Please advise.

Greetings. Im considering this theme, its very attractive and seems to have what I want. However I just noticed what appears to be a compatibility issue with chrome that may force me to choose another template. The header information (contact number & social icons) for header 2&3 dont appear in chrome. Here is a screenshot of header2 in chrome ( http://tinyurl.com/lmqtefl ). Are you aware of this issue and is it being worked on? If so, do you have a rough timetable of when it should be fixed?

First let me say that if there is ever an issue with anything, we fix it promptly and release a new version.
However, I’m not able ot reproduce this on our end.

Maybe its a browser extension or something. Try to clear cache and check it again. I also checked the forums and nobody else reported this.
Disabled extensions. Apparently it is Adblock Plus, which is a popular and highly used extension. Ive noticed this on a few other sites, but not all. Suggesting that whatever module/plugin/extension you’re using for the top contact information has been flagged in the Adblock database.
We’re not using anything specific for that area though. I’ll instal the extension and see if we can replicate this.

I am a banding Avada and looking for a theme that has two side bar…a real LEFT AND RIGHT at the same time theme….. I was told over some time ago that Avada would have this function!!!!!

I’m very sorry you are upset. We have mentioned that we are adding a left/right sidebar, and we are certainly doing that in a future release. The thing is we cannot guarantee when that will be done and we’ve mentioned that before as well. We add new features with each update, and will continue to do so, its just a matter of time. But if you need that feature now, then that is not the best solution.
however there is a solution in our forum that will give you a double sidebar. But it is a user submitted solution from a while back that you will need to perform on your install.
ButI assure you, double sidebars are coming to Avada
ThemeFusion, that option you are talking about in the forums is not a true side bar… it does not work with widgets and plugin’s …. Please do not call it “double sidebar” it is not!

There are many options in the forum like that, and all are from our users, not us. We simply direct you there. Until its a feature of the theme, you need to customize it to get it.

- How do a post without a featured image appears in the Blog > Layouts? - How do a portfolio without a featured image appears in the Portfolio > Layouts?
(for these two, I would suggest that you put on your demo website a post and a portfolio without any featured image so that we can see how it looks like if there is only text, no image at all)
- Is it possible no to show the featured image on one of our portfolio items? (So, have featured images by default for all portfolio items unless we specify no featured image for one specific portfolio item)

1. It appears just as you see it, except without the image. Everything else is the same. We can add these to the demo in the future
2. The featured image needs to be set for each portfolio item if you want the item to show up in the column view. You can still view the single post page with no image, but the column view depends on an image
3. For blogs yes, it will show on both listing and single psot pages. For portfolio, if you do not use an image it will only show the single post page, not on the listing page.

Yes you can set a featured image on a portfolio post, and then hide the featured image on the single post page.

Yes that is correct, you need a featured image for it to show up on the listing page. Take a look at the portfolio page designs you mentioned, if there is no image, there is nothing that can show up. An image is required for portfolio listing pages.

Yes, you can simply turn the featured image on or off for the blog listing pages and single post pages separately.

The styles we have setup for the forum are all for bbPress, which is a free forum plugin that works with Avada. So anything you can do with bbPress is possible with Avada. for what you are asking, most likely you will need a bbPress plugin to achieve that. I would recommend searching for a plugin like that and ask around on the bbPress forums. http://bbpress.org/forums/

Love the theme but just have one issue i need help with. I am trying to delete the pictures on the “about us” and “contact” pages. I can access the code in the “pages” tab and delete the pictures, but there is still an alt tag that contains the name of the person in place of the picture. I can also delete this by deleting the “person name” in the code, but then it takes away the bold text beneath the picture that displays the persons name. is there a way i can just delete the pictures on these pages without affecting any of the text below? i can provide pictures to better explain what I am talking about if you email me.

If its all right aligned, it sound like you have a RTL site. Are you using a plugin for that? Please disable them all to test.
The theme itself would not cause that to happen, its either from a customization or plugin.

I love this theme. Just one question. Is it possible to set up a 1 page site that the navigation anchors to points on that page or would it need custom coding for this?
If not you should add this to the theme, then it could do everything anyone could ever want and take over the world.
Thanks for the comments! Currently its not setup for a one page site so code customizations would be needed. But the good news is that we are planning on adding a one page feature site to the theme in a future release which will be free to all our buyers

Your portfolio page leads to a 404 page, you most likely need to go to “settings > permalinks” and hit “save changes” to reset them. Hmmm display your Tumblr site on the home page … I don’t think that is possible unless there is some kind of plugin out there that can give you that feature. I’ve not heard of one though. Most likely you would need to get your tumblr posts setup as WP posts.
