Thank you for your interest on Quasar Wordpress Theme. We just tested with IE9 and everything seem to be working. Can you refresh the page and try to re-review.
Also, can you be sure you are not trying to use IE9 in different mode? To make sure you are running IE in current mode click F12 on your keyboard to open Developer Tool. Then Make sure the “Browser Mode” and “Document Mode” are “IE9” and “IE9 Standards”

Thank you for your nice comment. And yes we do have sticky menu and it’s enabled on our demo. It disables itself for the touch devices and screens lower than 1024px width. May I learn your screen size?

Our code is specially optimized for performance and fast load. What do you mean by code improvement? We have a special logic for our code structure that is why Quasar is so fast and lightweight.
And we are not using Bootstrap. We have a special improved version of Foundation which is beyond bootstrap by being ultra responsive with 3 break points.

it sounds great! you are right, there is less css/js files included in the head when normally (in others themes) these are full of files… but I can see many generated lines in the body. Isn’t it a problem for SEO?

SEO is more rely on the required codes. Just like using “h2” tag for headers and to add a valid and readable. SEO also strongly bound with content. And we have considered these SEO details as well when making Quasar. But ofcourse if you want, you can use different SEO plugins to reach even higher results.
In the other hand, there is something else for the SEO and specially for the Google. It’s page speed and structure. And Quasar demo home page gets Green Check Mark from Official Google’s Page Speed test. You can also check it here

Xander, could you check the main menu on Ipad ? When I try to access, it just dont scroll down the menu, so I cant access the options of them.

As I understand from your words, you are using iPad portrait and the select menu is not scrolling down? Am I misunderstanding? Because we’ve just tested with iPad (both portrait and landscape) and menu is working fine. If you can specify the problem better in details that would be helpful. Using PC, when I place my mouse on “Features” menu, for example, it scrolls down with the options. I cant reproduce it on safari from ipad. The fixed menu doesn’t work for me either.

I guess you mention the sub menus. When you hover on “Features” four sub menu will scroll down. On iPad portrait mode (turn your iPad) you will see our menu switches to responsive select menu. On landscape mode, you should be able to tap and see the sub menus. If you can’t see them, we will surely look into it deeply. Also can you give me your iPad details as in like OS and the iPad version?

You are right, as a portrait, the menus become responsive select ones and I can navigate throw any option. On landscape, I see the menu like from my desktop but I just cant open the submenus. When I tap the main option, instead of open the submenu it just open the page of that menu option. You should take a look on the fixing feature too.. its not fixing on top when I scroll. Im actually using safari browser with my 3rd generation ipad. 7.0.4 iOS Installed.
Its a important thing for me since I have 40%+ traffic from mobile devide nowadays.. hehe

is anybody else having problems with the BG image not working in boxed mode in firefox? it looks awesome in IE and Chrome but not firefox.

i am not running Maverick. it seems like firefox is forcing my bg to be a 24×24 tile no matter what size i upload. i am trying to work with a larger non-tileable background so it looks goofy. everything looks great in chrome and IE.

Thank you for your nice comment. Do you mean standard isotope gallery with lightbox (PrettyPhoto) effect? There are so many gallery systems like that and you can use a plugin for it. Our page builder has an element to enter a shortcode which means, you can integrate different plugin shortcodes. Only thing you need is a gallery plugin (like you wanted) with a shortcode.

Great looking theme, and the main reason I’m 99.9% sure I’m buying is the page builder…. I need a theme that my client can easily work with after I hand it over.
QUESTION: I am assuming that the style options on your demo site can be turned off, right?

And yes, that Style Editor on our demo is just to show a few options of the Quasar. You won’t see that editor on the frontend. But you will be able to change so many more details in our Theme Options.

New iMac top of the line, latest OS. Also ran on Macbook Pro 2010 base model with latest OS. Looks amazing in all browsers BUT Firefox. The scrolling is choppy and slow.

We are using Mountain Lion. And we also tested with Windows Firefox. Are you using “Maverick”? Because I’ve made some research and saw people using Maverick having problem with the scroll (being choppy, slowing down, scroll delay etc.) on firefox. I think Firefox might consider an update for this issue.

This theme looks like it could be quite impressive,
Does Quasar have a gallery, and if so, can we use one image as an album cover and have all the other images inside of that album pop up in a lightbox/prettyphoto?

Thank you for your nice comment. We do not have a gallery system like you explained but we have a very useful showcase system. Click here to see it.
This is a special showcase system similar to the one used on Themeforest. Most gallery users problem is to display more images but to be able to display their originial work. (Just as thumbnail and preview images here.) So we have added this system to allow you to display more images. This system also ajax powered and loads the category images when you click to a different category. And ofcourse you can then edit your gallery image pages with our Page Builder easily.

Thank you for your nice comment. Curvy Slider currently can not run videos. Because Canvas does not accept Youtube we could not add it to Curvy Slider. However that’s why we have included the Slider Revolution. You can see that in our home page here

i got a 96/100 with firebug!
Can you explain how it is possible that your theme loads a new page in under 2 seconds or somethimes under 1??? My Network view on firebug shows only one or two files to load but the site images and so on loads and loads…:)
Next Problem – Yesterday i finished my own site with enfold, and now i saw your great theme I think i made a mistake

How do I disable “by Rockthemes.net” from the footer?

Thank you for purchasing the Quasar Wordpress Theme. That can be easily removed when Purchase Code is entered on “Appearance > Theme Options > License” field. But if you are working on your testing/local server I advise you to leave it till you work on your production site. Because Purchase Codes are can be used only once. So, if this is your production site, when you entered the Purchase Code in “Appearance > Theme Options > License” it will disappear automatically.

Hi, congratulations for the theme.
I would like to suggest the development of an events module/shortcode, with a dedicated page and also with a frontpage “highlight” solution. That would make this theme a winner also for many types of artists/venues, as we only see the features on bands/nightclubs themes, but they are usually poorly and single minded designed, and also as the events plugin path doesn’t always work well neither as beautifully as it should right from the box. Please, consider that (and restaurant menus, reservations, you get the image. This could go skyrocket.)
