How to add the different languages from WPML to the top menu like the one on your demo site?

Hi ermirp,

You can set the WPML language switcher to display in a specific menu.

The top right menu in the theme is called “Top Right Navigation” so you’ll want to add it to this one.

Hi, do you think it’s possible to set the room availability by periods? otherwise I can’t use your booking engine…

Currently the booking system blocks the availability of a room if it is already booked by another guest for that period.

We’re still adding tons of new functionality on a regular basis so keep an eye out for future updates.

What I mean it’s: if the hotel is fully booked tonight, but not tomorrow, I have to close the availability on the web site just for that night and not forever. So it’s important that we can set availability with a calendar, day by day. Please try to solve it as soon as possible. Thx Elena

If all hotel rooms are fully booked for a certain date, no rooms will be available to other guests if they try to book a room for that date.

If a guest tries to book for another date which is available it will allow them to book.

So basically the answer to your question is yes :)

The theme isn’t compatible with WooCommerce, but we’ve integrated our own payment solution which support PayPal and bank transfers.

Currently there is only a weekend/weekday price variation. We’re working on a seasonal pricing solution at the moment though.

Ok, it may be hard to explain but i will give it my best shot…

In a basic hotel room price calculation you need to apply following steps;

First of all it should calculate under,

QNS Booking > General > Booking Settings > Charge for PP

Standart Hotel room is for 2 person and for instance its price 20$ per night. But it does not mean that 10$ PP. If you want to accommodate in that normally double capacity but expandable by extra bed room as a single person, you should pay more than 10$. Calculated price should be like;

2 person – in standart room = 20$ // 1 person – in standart room = 17$ // 3 person – in standart room = 25$ (3. person would get extra bed) //

And calculation is like;

Standart room = Y (2 person ) // Standart room = Y x 1.7 ( 1 person ) // Standart room = Y x 2.5 ( 2+1 person ) //

Percentages may change for different hotels or tours but standart percentages are like above.

Sure this is possible but you would need to edit the code to do this. We’ll look into making homepage customization easier in the next few updates though as I agree there’s room for improvement in this area.

Hello quitenicestuff I read very often the comments. It is true that it is important to have the choice of price has well defined seasons for different dates. Thus, the ability to offer services such as breakfast, half board. Has it possible erajouter payment method by check. Soho Hotel supports child themes so you shouldn’t run into any issues doing this.

We’re planning to update the documentation soon so it contains details of how to implement child themes.

Regarding seasonal pricing, will this be in the next update? Or at least can I set prices for different month? No hotel have standard rate throughout the year so this is very important.

These are all basic booking requirements which I don’t mind paying to develop. Will you be able to provide paid development to develop those requirement I mentioned above? If not, can I get a developer to do this for me easily?

Also, I just went to the support forum to check what other issue people are facing. One of which is the Unavailable dates. Am I right to say that the system will not be able to capture booking in the calendar?

For example if I have a room that already has been booked this week, others may also see it as Available for this period and they will be able to book? In this what are the purpose of the “Unavailable” text there?

Regarding making rooms unavailable, if a room is booked for a specific date it will be unavailable for any other guests who want to book it for the same date.

I like this theme very much. However I have pre sales question. 1.

When I check for availability from the homepage, it bring me to a page with the same info. It took me a while to figure out what to do next. I finally realised that I have to click on Check Availability again to proceed with the room selection. Is this a bug? If it is, can you fixed this?

Secondly, all hotel have different rates for low and high season, can this theme support this? Or can I set the different rate for each month?

Thirdly, how can I add other miscellaneous stuff like half-board or full-board and land transfer to the end of the bill? Create that as an options.

Lastly, can this theme generate invoice or payment receipt to customer?

Going to booking step 1 from the homepage isn’t a bug, it’s intentional. But we agree it’s kind of pointless so we’re working on an update at the moment so it goes directly to step 2 :)

Regarding seasonal pricing, you can set different prices for weekdays/weekends and adults/children. Currently you can’t set seasonal prices based on time of year though.

It’s also not possible to add additional stuff like half/full board and transfers just yet but we’re still developing the booking plugin so keep an eye out for updates.

The customer and website admin are each sent an email with the booking details when a booking is placed.

Hi I am quiet new in WP. Sorry, but I don’t get Accommodations. I create Accommodations as a main navigation bar item. I added rooms in Accommodations page, but I can’t select them to the accommodations submenu, because they are not shown in the Appearance/menus page. What I need to do to get the Rooms pages into the Accommodations submenu? While Home Setting, News Setting and Events Setting are displayed among Theme Options, Accommodations is not. Second question. How can I fill the Homepage Slideshow? It seems it never get the images I upload….. quite frustrating. I know, it’s my fault, but please help me with simple steps. Paul

Dates are automatically blocked out when a guest books a room.

You can add bookings/block dates manually by going to “Booking > Add New” in the WordPress dashboard.

Don’t forget your need to update the theme and the plugin separately. The plugin can be found in the “Plugin” folder inside the main download package.

I have a group of houses i rent for the weekends. Can i have independent calendars for the booking of each house?

Other question: can i have a system where only autorized users can book the reservations? i think Wordpress already include that, but since i’m a novice in Wodpress, i don’t know by the moment.

Would you be booking the whole house out per booking or just particular rooms in a house?

You could add each house as a “Room” and each would have it’s own booking schedule independent from the other. So basically a yes to the first question.

Regarding only allowing authorized users to book, I’m afraid this wouldn’t be possible.
