What is the error exactly? The message you gave is not an error just a file path and line of code. We are on 3.8 as well and have not had that error. Have you tried to deactivate plugins then turn them back on?
Where are you seeing that error and what is the full message?
Pre-purchase question: Is it possible to use the cart function to add items to a cart. Then, send the cart information to an email address (using a submit button)? I have a client that would like this function and does not want to process credit cards online but just have the cart information sent to them for manual billing/invoicing/processing. Thanks

I’m not sure to be honest, there might be a plugin or feature of WooCommerce that allows you to do that. I would suggest checking with WooCommerce or searching for a plugin with that feature. Since Avada uses WooCommerce, it would be the best place to check.

I am using codestyling localization to do the translatoion, but I am not able to make the following woocommerce strings effective on frontend:
“Shopping Cart Totals”
“Have A Promotional Code?”
“UPDATE SHOPPING CART”
etc.
I can find them in backend but there is no effect on frontend. Please help.

Excuse me , My Language is Chinese Taiwan and I Need to translate the theme into my language. I’m Sure wp-config.php had be modify.

What part is still in English? Theme options will stay in English but all other will be translated.

Hi. I’m trying to work with your demo content. I am hosting with 1&1. When I try to “Import all demo content” I get a 500 Internal Server Error page. I have contacted 1&1 about this.
Then, I moved onto trying to work with a single demo page. I pasted the code into the TEXT area of a new page. When I view the page, it displays the code as text instead of reading the code.

For importing the demo content, most likely 1and1 does not have your memory limit high enough, it sounds like its way too low. They should fix that if you ask them to.
For individual pages, you need to paste the code in the TEXT editor, not the visual editor. See the steps outlined here, http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/demo-content-info/import-individual-pages/

Is there any way to add more than one custom font? I would like to include a custom serif and sans-serif font. If it cannot be done through the current theme options, do you have any suggestions on how to get two custom fonts?

Currently its only offered for one font, but in the future you will be able to upload multiple custom fonts, for Avada 4.0. Until then it requires some customizations. You can always post on our forum and search to see if any other suer has posted this before.

I noticed that bbPress runs perfectly to my knowledge, but I’m begging you please can you add a stylesheet for BuddyPress to the next release ?!
It’s just an extension that works with bbPress but the member pages don’t really look that great lol. If you need any examples please let me know so I can show you what I mean. Matter of fact, let me do that right now. Okay here’s a link:

Yeah we have full styles for bbPress, but not for BuddyPress yet. We do have plans to add custom styling for BuddyPress in the future but it will not be the next release or in 4.0, most likely after that. There is actually a lot of styling that needs to be added for a plugin like that, but we’ll make sure we get it all when that time comes. Promise!

We’ve not used that plugin with Avada, but it should be ok. However, there is no need for it as you can already create multiple sidebars with Avada, apply any widgets to them and put them on any page or post all with our own options.

What I mean by this is I can, add 10-15 widgets on the side of each page and then add a different 15-20 widgets on a another page, so all the widgets on all he pages are all different, up to how many widgets? I’m talking about a lot of pages… like… more than 100+
Yes you can make as many custom sidebars as you need and put any widgets in them, and assign them to individual pages or posts.
You ca make as many sidebars as you need and add as many widgets as you need.

You can create up to 5 levels of dropdown menus, all off the main menu. Is that what you are referring to?

I’d really like to use this theme… is there any way to have 2 navigation menus on the top at all? Some have a nav menu way up on the very top, can it do that? even though they aren’t right next to each other, they can both be on top?
You can have a top menu and a main menu, yes. like here, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/header-4/
You can do that with headers 2-5 layout style. only header 1 can take the main menu by itself, the others can have the top menu on the left or right side and then the main menu below.

No, I bought Avada a couple weeks ago but I just started working with it, but I’ll try a different browser first and then send an email if I need it.
Tried Chrome, Safari and ( gags ) IE

FINALLY ! SUCCESS!
After 5 browsers I was finally able to get the support registration to accept the purchase code.
I used my ipad to register with the Chrome browser.
I think I know what the problem might have been.
I had to actually type in the purchase code using the ipad.
I think actually typing it in as opposed to copy / pasting the purchase code was the key to success.
If anyone else is having woes with purchase code on support forum registration, try TYPING it in instead of copy / pasting it.
