Currently there is no option to change testimonial shortcode to show the testimonials without the images and we can’t change dt_portfolios for single portfolio page, whereas dt_portfolio is a post type registered name.

I have a child theme setup with the site so ideally i would like to place the code in that functions.php and not modify any of the core.

You can write your custom styles in your Child theme, whereas the parent theme won’t affect with it.

You can change dt_portfolios in the following ways.

1). Get into your “Soulmedic (wp-folder) / wp-content / plugins / designthemes-core-features / custom-post-types”
2). Then please find “dt-portfolio-post-type.php” file and go to Line. Nos: 111, 114, 131 & 226.
3). And you will need to change Line. No: 1454 in “shortcodes.php” file from the same directory.
4). Thereafter please get into your “theme directory / tpl.portfolio.php” and find Line. No: 103 to be changed.
5). Same way, please find “theme directory / framework / register_public.php” and change Line. Nos: 116 & 869 thereby.
Remove Image from Testimonial:
1). Please find and get the shortcode from “testimonial_shortcode.txt” file attached here.

2). And then use that shortcode to replace the “dt_sc_testimonial” function within the “shortcodes.php” file from your “Soulmedic (wp-folder) -> wp-content -> plugins -> designthemes-core-features -> shortcodes” directory.

a lot easier solution would be to just modify the post type to where it says ‘rewrite’ => true, on line 107. to ‘rewrite’ => array( ‘slug’ => ‘your_slug_name’ ). your only changing the one line of code instead of changing the entire post type.

I would actually create a custom variable called $portfolio_slug and make it so that you can change the slug to whatever you want easily in the theme options page. Just a recommendation for the next update

Our theme is compatible to use with major browsers like IE9, IE10, IE11, Safari, Opera, Firefox and Chrome.

Please let us know the browser version of IE you’ve used with. So that, we can check and will try to rectify the issues if any as you stated.

With shortcodes, you’ll just get and use the Revolution slider anywhere on your content pages possibly.

But this won’t work, if you want to use Revolution slider as in the homepage.

So you’ll just need to use the slider options from the page’s backend, for homepage slider settings.

And we have got your mail regarding the customization queries. We’ve just mentioned in our previous message that we can do the product search box for free of cost itself.

But as we checked your last mail now, you would like to have a product search box (like eBay) with the drop down for categories.

So we just have to check out the possible timeline for this first one, also the second task of showing product categories (Woocommerce) under every image, whereas these are new features for us to work with and we never tried implementing those things in our themes anymore before.

There is no Soulmedic theme folder In your ftp. So Install our Soulmedic theme then only we can import dummy data. Importing dummy data is very easy process just clicking “Import Dummy Data” button in our Soulmedic(Bpanel) (OR) let us know, we will import dummy data.

Sorry there is no option to make the Header/Footer as Full-width and Content as Boxed.

To setup the entire theme as Boxed layout,

Go To Dashboard ( wp-admin ) -> Soulmedic ( Buddha Panel ) -> Appearance -> Layout & BG Tab.

You can get or change the background color of the top header area easily from Line.No:456 at “style.css” as shown below,

You can easily put the social icons in the footer widget area as following,

1). Enable the Sociable option from your Buddha Panel

2). And here is a shortcode for social icons to put in your footer widget area.

2. also wanna use same icon but different border color for the widget area, am looking for the style sheet code for the social icons to use different image from top one. basically our top social icons has a white color on the social icons, with blue background in header, in footer we have grey background so social icons not showing with the white. so we figure we can use a different color in social icons so they show up.

yea i have that in there. the social icons did come up as mentioned, but there actual color on the footer bg can’t be seen, as mentioned before the top social icons are using a color we change to for that area, but on footer, because of the background color, we need the color of the social icons to be other than white. is is possible to make the color of the icons like the facebook (F) to be blue, without actually modifying the png image, or what other method we have to use a the icon there in footer with differrnet color on the icons
