Here’s something that’s probably really easy for you. I just installed the “really simple share” plugin and noticed that it shows up just about everywhere there is content.
In this example I’m working on the testimonials and would like to remove sharing from that section.

How do I get Vimeo to show up in the blog post previews like shown in http://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4363266 on the “Quisque sit amet sapien et lacus” post?
I currently embed the iframe code using “text” mode when creating a post in the editor… and the video shows up just fine in the full blog post but there is no preview of the video on the masonry page, just an empty space.

The home slider waits until all slides are ready instead of just the first like the Nectar Slider which is why it takes longer – I will look into changing it, but I’m curious why you are choosing that over the Nectar Slider still?

Hello I am working with the home slider, I am having an issue with it, it seems that the mobile version works fine but the desktop versions buttons on the slider show up clear and I cant change the colour (see the image below for a screen shot), this makes the text not readable. Also, was curious if I want to swap this out the home slider for Nectar slider how can I do that? I am using the home page layout and have looked at instructions, I must be missing something

I would indeed recommend that you switch to the Nectar Slider since it has that button functionality you’re looking for. All you need to do to switch it unassign your home template in the “Page Attributes” box and then place a Nectar Slider shortcode on the page where you desire. Is it possible to make a logo active so that it links to a new page when clicked or rolled over?
Hey secinc, the logo will always link to the home page by default – if you wish to change that to be a custom link you’ll need to edit this section:
in the header.php file:

You can place a video embed by simply inserting the iframe code into the text tab on your editor in your desired location (the visual tab won’t parse html). It will automatically adjust the width to fit whatever column it’s in – if you don’t place it into a column it will span the full width of the main content area as shown in your screenshot.

Hello, on my portfolio item pages I am using the default gallery and checking the option to create a Gallery Slider… Working no problem but the slider is set to autoplay/scroll through the images – how can I quickly change that to only advance when the forward/backward arrows are clicked? Thx!

Hi if I use an icon and under text then write the distance between the icon and text is very large. how can I adjust it so that the distance is not so great as in the demo site? Thanks
Hey dc-motion – ensure that you’re not putting extra line breaks between the icon and text. Here’s what the demo setup looks like from the text tab on the editor:

My portfolio categories no longer show up after upgrading to latest theme version. Under portfolio it only says “All” even though I have 4 categories.

Enjoying setting up this gorgeous theme. But I’ve run into something entirely unexpected: Page titles should by default mirror the slug (the URL, for that matter), correct? Yet it seems the only option is to enter a page title manually, which doesn’t make sense, since this would automatically eliminate an essential function of any of the many plugins that dynamically create page titles (forum topics, for example). I’m very likely missing the simple and obvious, but can’t figure it out. Thanks!

The theme does not automatically spit a title for static pages, but adding that in is very simple – just open up the page.php file and add this line in:
<?php echo '<h1>' . get_the_title() . '</h1>'; ?>right after the:
<div class="row">
It has been my understanding that larger plugins for systems like forums/events etc will use their own templates which include the title by default, but I will try and make an option to turn default titles on for the next release coming soon

1. There’s no option to place a button in the header by default – it would require a little mod.
2. I’m not sure which one you were looking for from that demo link you supplied because there’s a good amount to choose from, but all of the portfolio options are shown on the demo currently.
