Hi, currently using version 2.1.5. Does the newer version of Salient allow sharing to other social networks besides Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest? If so, which ones (hint LinkedIn). This would be very helpful, thank you!

I love this theme when do you estimate that you will release the next update? Just curious it works perfect as is, I have just seen you mention it a few times and look forward to it.
Also people considering to purchase the theme definitely purchase it! According to bigtime32 the developer does not respond to tickets in a timely fashion. I personally know he receives a huge amount of questions and answers them all in as timely a fashion as humanly possible, which is usually in less than 24 hours in my case. The developer is awesome! I am sure he is just backlogged on trouble tickets and if bigtime32 provides his ticket number I am sure it will be resolved pronto! So I purchased this theme and I have to say it is truly excellent from a design standpoint. However, the support is less than stellar. I put in a direct ticket and it has been 2 days with no response. I put in a public ticket to see if there would be an improved response and again, 2 days. I have used several themes on this site (all chosen after taking a look at reviews and support materials) and have never waited longer than 24 hours for a response. I will be posting here every day with an update until I get a response to my questions. Take a look to see how well this developer does.

The average queue time is indeed around 24 hours under normal conditions, but since I’ve been working so hard to wrap up the upcoming major release it’s a bit longer this week. I have only been able to devote between 6-8 days a day on the forum and have been spending the rest of my time developing. I’m not sure what your tickets are on the forum since you left no reference, but I’m sure they will be answered soon if they haven’t already.
Also, posting tickets in private vs. public won’t effect the response time – my tickets are simply sorted in order from oldest to newest and that’s how I serve them
Well, thanks for getting back to me. And you are correct, I did not leave a reference here because my point was to see how long it would take to get a response without goading support. I intend to follow through on that course. Perhaps my experience is an anomaly. If it is and if my situation is resolved, I will post stellar feedback here. If not, I will tell it like it is with no malice. Clearly, I am disappointed at the results thus far, particularly when I have high hopes for using this theme repeatedly. Again, we will see. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you in the support forum.
So I did receive a reply to my post on support and received code that under normal conditions would work. However, it is returning an invalid code alert and the background image will not display. I have searched the internet to determine what this problem is and none of those fixes worked either. I received the code 2 days ago and applied immediately. When it did not work, I immediately notified support. No response yet (48 hours).
By the way, my experience with support does not detract from the capabilities of this theme. The theme is powerful and works as described. Just frustrated with a 48 hour support response.

Hi!! I love your theme! Its a very nice one!
I would like to fix some problems with my header images, when i make smaller for mobiles some pages like Somos (We are), there’s a black line on the top, also with a normal size for computers some header images appear below the menu but i want to keep the opacity in the menu. Could you help me with that? I have another question, is there any possibilty to have more extra colors, i need to make differents colors for differents icons, like 3 or 4 colors more. Is there any possibilty to add colors?

Hi I love this them, it’s great! I have a question regarding the nectar slider buttons. In firefox, Nectar slider button dont work. It seems like there’s a slider texture thats covering the actual content of the slider, so you can’t click on buttons. It works fine on chrome, so i’m just really curious about how that’s happening. Can I see your URL that has this problem? That sounds strange considering I built the theme mostly in Firefox and only used the other browsers to cross-browser compatibility and have never ran into this. Do you also experience this on the live demo?

Hi there, my logo doesn’t seem to be showing on my iphone – there is only a grey box in it’s place. It is there when I resize my browser window but not there on the iphone. How do I fix it? Thanks!

If you wanted to set a wider width, you’d need to do so with custom css.

Hi the tint/shade slider of the color picker doesn’t seem to be working completely correctly. Sliding it up and down does not move the slider but only switches between grayscale and color mode.
Of course I can still just enter html code directly but it would be nice if you could fix this in a future update. BTW: using last version of Chrome, the same issue happens on all my computers.

I love your theme, it has so many possibities! I do have an issue with the free video coding.mp4. On your demo site I can see the video on iPad. I cannot see any video playing on your theme demo portfolio. Can you use Vimeo Pro? Can you use videos stored on Amazon S3 or Cloudfront using as an example JW Player?

you can’t see the video backgrounds in the Nectar Slider? Those have been confirmed to work countless times on all supported browsers – what is your current setup (browser/os)?

Have you updated the mobile optimised rendering?
iPhones need sizes to be 2 X normal due to retina; when I load the theme on mobile the theme is now very poor UX. Did this get updated recently? It needs to be mobile (iOS) friendly.

I’m not sure which version you’re on, but the theme itself has been retina ready for a long time – there are no images used anymore for design elements so everything is crisp on any resolution / pixel density. There was also a retina logo upload added many releases ago too.
If you’re simply referring to content images that you’re uploading in pages/posts they too should be crisp on retina mobile devices since you’re supposed to use images that are already more than twice as large as a phones resolution to fill the desktop space correctly.
If you can supply a URL I’d be glad to take a look at your setup

For each copy of Salient you buy, you’re free to modify it however you want including taking away all ThemeNectar related items to make it appear as if it’s your own product for your client. However, you can still only use the theme for one domain name, so you can’t buy a copy and sell it to more than one client at a time.
