The portfolio images are responsive, on mobile they will show the full image ratio though, this is done to avoid any distortion or extra load for the browser. I took a look at your site and its displaying correctly, see this: http://d.pr/i/ygE1

Hmmm I dont see that at all. I noticed you are on v3.2.1, I would recommend updating as well.

Yes you can translate the theme into any language, and it does support RTL. We do not include an Arabic language as we do not have one yet submitted by a user, but you can still translate it into Arabic using POEdit

Hey guys, love the theme having just one little problem. Right now for some reason the site I am working on has a border around the logo ONLY IN IE. I have not clue whats causing it any ideas.

I feel it’s necessary to give props to the Avada developers. I had purchased a theme prior to Avada that had decent reviews, but I very quickly found out the support for that theme was basically non-existent. I got nothing but promises with no real help. I then spent forever looking for another theme not wanting to get burned again. I finally decided on Avada and it was the best decision I have made in my very short Wordpress website development excursion.
The theme is constantly being updated, support is awesome and the tools and features included make it very easy for someone not really familiar with Wordpress.
No – I don’t work for these guys and no – I’m not getting paid to say this. I just think most people only ever say anything about a product when they’re not happy. These guys deserve major props for what they’ve done with this theme and what they continue to do with it.

I’m not sure how the license works. If i buy a regular license, install, then change to another domain, can i re-install, or do i need to buy another copy? (obviously i’m thinking about change domains at some point).

As long as its only active on one site then you do not need to buy a new license. Basically the license allows you to use it on one site, if you use it one two sites then you need a second license. But moving one site to a different domain is fine as long as the previous domain is not longer the theme.

What exactly are you trying to do? Change the link on the logo? By default it will always link to the home page, to change that requires some code editing. If you are familiar with that, you can post on our forum and our staff can point you in the right direction to make that change,

I’m trying to setup my home page so that the last 5 posts show up on the home page here, http://demo42.info/cia/.
This is for a fishing guide client of mine and he wants to be able to take pictures with his phone and upload them to a post via the Wordpress App.
On the home page, I’d like the title to be above the picture and for the picture that is put in the post to show up here as well.
How can I do this?

The featured image will always show above the title, since that is how it was designed. What you can do though is disable the featured image above the post and then enable the image inside the post to show. So you could put the featured image inside the post so it shows below the title.
Disable featured image via theme options on blog tab, or in the blog shortcode (thumbnails=”no”).
Allow the image in post to show by enabling strip_HTML=”yes” either in theme options, or in blog shortcode.

Hmmm … Make sure it is the full complete shortcode, the one you pasted is missing the opening recent work tag.
We can take a look at this on our forum, we would need to see it on the page. first disable any 3rd party plugins you have to see if one of them is conflicting. If not, post up a new topic on our forum and we’ll check it out for you.

Hi,
I am testing the theme on my mobile and tablet. I get pinch to zoom on mobile which is great, but there is no pinch to zoom on my tablet.
I am currently using another responsive theme that does allow pinch to zoom on tablets. Can avada do this as well and still remain responsive?

When the theme is responsive, there is no need for pinch to zoom because all elements are appropriately sized for the screen. Pinch to zoom will work if you disable the responsive layout. It works on ipad because most likely you have ipad portrait mode as fixed mode (general tab in theme options).

We’re very close to a purchase of the Avada theme and there’s really only one big question remaining.
Will it be difficult to implement a side menu/navigation solution for a “Meet the team” page? One vertical menu entry per person, and clicking on an entry opens up info that person to the right. Can such be implemented easily in Avada?

It was a deception when I discovered that there is no page builder avaiable in Avada!

Where did you see their is a page builder? We have a shortcode builder, but not a page builder yet. However, we are adding a pge builder in our big v4.0 release in the coming months. Once we do add it, it will be front and center on the item page.

http://j2k.info/party/There is not a theme option for that. But you could simply use the slider shortcode, it can take any image or video you suggest, but it will not pull blog post info.
