Is it possible to set a minimum width for the right sidebar? I’m asking because on my site www.dblback.com I have an ad widget at the top of the right sidebar that is 300px in width and some of it gets cut off in standard view.
I can/will adjust the maximum content width for the main content in the samba options>general tab if need be, but I need to make the right sidebar show up with a minimum width of 300px.

You can try this with some custom CSS. Nevertheless, and because you have to change multiple elements size, I think it would be easier for you to add CSS so that your widget fits the sidebar and not the opposite.

I currently have my left sidebar set up to show only social icons and popular posts…for some reason there is a weird buffer space under the logo area.
Is there any way that I can eliminate that space so that the space above and below the logo are equal?

Hi there, I’m trying to use visual composer custom layout, with these line 5/12 + 7/12 but it’s not working on the page, in admin section it shows correctly in front end it shows 5/12 ->fullwidth and 7/12 -> 263px… any idea?

Sorry I’m working in localhost, it seems a shortcode parse error, ‘couse when I type span5+span7 it doesn’t give back class .five and class seven as aspected and if I save the page and open custom layout again I find 5/12 + 7/12 instead span5+span7. any idea??

It seems that you had the theme previously on a folder called beta and now you moved it to the root. I don’t know how you have done this, but when the images are uploaded they are not going to the beta folder, but Wordpress is still saving them with the beta prefix.
Probably it is your htaccess that is wrong, but I can’t tell.

hi, i have a little question. i want to make different background for different page. i’m trying it using visual composer in this way: i make a row and i edit it applying a background image. but if i put in the same row a “latest post” element i don’t see it well because of the background. i can’t read well the words. how can i add somthing like a square under the element? i tried making an other row inside the row but i can’t edit like before. i don’t now what “extra class” is. is there an other way? my english is terrible eheh.

as you look the background of the page is an image,and the background of the post list is a rectangular black.so you can read well the words.in your theme i can’t find the way to make the same rectangular over an image background. what am i doing wrong?if you don’t understand no problem, is my guilt. thank you for patience.

This can’t be done with the Visual Composer, because you want to add a background image to the whole page (not just the content). This requires that you turn the Ajax loading feature off, add an extra div to your pages (this div will hold the image) and add some CSS and/or jQuery to make the image fill the whole page.

Stunning theme! I’m really enjoying it so far but are running into a few issues:
1) Embedded YouTube videos on the portfolio pages are not responsive though Vimeo videos are, how do I fix this?
2) Images on the individual portfolio pages, when stacked, lack the expand icon and function. I need my images stacked and also have the ability to zoom in on them, how can I fix this.

1 – Go to Samba Options>Portfolio tab and make sure that “Enable lightbox on single post pages” is on;
2 – When you are editing each portfolio item you have some options under. One of them is “Disable slider and show images and videos stacked vertically”;

Thanks for the quick response! I already have Enable light box and the enlarge icon still does not show up. It shows up on the slider but NOT on the stacked images mode. How can I have it show up when I stack my images?
Also, my YouTube videos are still not responsive… Do you have a fix for this? My Vimeo videos resizes just fine on phones, tablets, etc but the YouTube videos do not.

My problem is related to the left-hand menu.
WooCommerce using the left menu I created categories and sub-categories. However, any sub categories from the left menu click the menu when we opened it completely shuts off the contents of the category.
So the selected category does not appear explicitly in the left part.
For example clicking on the link I have given you can see that the menu is closed.
I sub-category is selected I want to remain open until that part of the menu.

This is a great theme, but I see a problem: with javascript disabled, the theme does not shown.
I think the problem is that you hide all with CSS and afterwards you show all with javascript (with an effect).
You must use the html classes “no-js” <—> “js_active” to set the opacity of the elements.
For example:
.no-js #menu_section {opacity: 1; filter: alpha(opacity=1);}
Other solution would be to delete opacity line from #menu_section and:
.js_active #menu_section {opacity: 0; filter: alpha(opacity=0);}

Even if you do apply that change most of the theme functions will not work. The theme relies on jQuery to perform a lot of function so if you turn off javascript it won’t look good. Cheers!
Well, maybe some functions will not work and maybe the theme won’t look good, but basic functionality and content works ok (disabling AJAX for content) so “no javascript users” can at least view basic content.

It seems that your server has some sort of restriction to the theme file that handles the images resizing. Please contact your hosting company, because this is a very unusual error (first time I see it).

Hi Pirenko, how do I change the colour for the menu if I have the collapsed menu. To explain it better: I am using only two colours now in my menu bar. When I view the menu on my ipad I then have the collapsed menu. usually I would see such lines which show me that there is a menu, but these lines are now the same as the other colour and I can’t see them. Don’t know where to change this colour. Doris

That color is the theme current active color. If you want to force a specific color try adding this under Samba Options>Custom Scripts>Custom CSS:

Hi I’ve an issue using WPML but i don’t know if it’s a theme big.
When i click to the flag to see my translated page, the id of the page is not in the url parameter, i’ve : mydomain.com/?lang=en INSTEAD of mydomain.com/contact/?lang=en
And so i got a 404error, this is for all pages.
If i manually type mydomain.com/contact/?lang=en, it works.
Has someone the same problem ? thanks

Hi, I do like the left menu bar! – It is consistence through out the various type of layout. I wish to start with the blog masonry style.
1) I want to hide the publishing date.
2) in the place of “READ MORE”, I want the reading time (plugin) to be displayed.
If the coding is bit tricky, i want a custom text to be displayed instead of read more!

2 – You can translate everything under Samba Options>Translations tab. If you want to try and integrate that widget you can edit manually the template_blog_masonry.php file;

1) Top fixed navigation bar is fine. But i need few customization.
A) Instead of specific color, i want it be make it transparent for the navigation bar.
I want to have “X” button on the extreme right ( Replacing the social buttons )
C) I wish to have the blog header in the place of of ” X, >, < “
D) Previous and next post can be placed at the end of the post, with social buttons.
E) I want to disable the whole comments section with name, email id and comment box etc.
