Hello again Pirenko As a homepage i’ve set a grid-blog page that displays 3 categories of posts. When you press “load more posts” it loads some more posts but most of them are the same as above. And thats not the only problem. It doesnt display the older posts. I press “load more posts” once again and then it dissapears but there are still more posts to display. Cheers!

Hi, great theme. I have an issue with the homepage full screen slider: Currently I have 4 slides; 3 images and 1 video. I have the slideshow on autoplay and not to stop on hover. My problem is that if I press play on the video the slideshow continues to run while the video keeps playing in the background (I can hear it). Please advise how I can get the slideshow to stop/pause if it is clicked or when the video is playing?

To be added to our website all the pictures is just a page of photos to create.

Automatically creating separate pages for each image, google image pages that are simply Indexing.

Hello, I was quite excited when I purchased Samba. It is beautiful. Now however, I am frustrated and somewhat disappointed. Only being a wordpress novie, I was expecting a comprensive admin panel and visual composer to build my site. Are there video tutorials? I have to almost continually refresh each page even with Ajax turned off. The slider include seems not to have the capacity to have the captions on each slide as the demo, only text; can that be changed? I downloaded Wow slider, however, I cannot get the full screen effect as in the demo, and it is unstable on mobile platforms. Are there other sliders to use without this problem? How can the background color around the unused menu items be made transparent? How can the menu bar colors be set like a rainbow on the Demo? I would greatly appreciate your solutions. To adna above: try to use the English version of Wordpress. I’ve had issues with the theme on a French WP, even though I don’t remember if they were related to what you describe.

The site is taking shape but I have still a problem with the widget “images seule” and “galerie d’images”. Indeed they are not performing the way they are supposed to do when the portfolio are loaded on the same page. I mean that Magnific Pop Up doesn’t work.
I precise it is working when the portfolio is loaded outside a template-portfolio-titled.
You can have a look on the page “Présentation” : http://www.marieclaireraoul.fr/mcr-portfolio/?page_id=117. When you are on this page if you click on thumbnail “Documents sources”, the portfolio “documents sources” is loaded in the same page. There, if you click on the thumbnails of the gallery “photographies” or on the thumbnail “le drap” you see that the magnific pop up doesn’t appear.
I would be very gratefull if you help me to resolve this problem.

I am trying to make an image clickable with lightbox pop-up of a vimeo video.  What I want is to have a big image at the top of the page, and when you click it will open a lightbox style pop-up with the vimeo video playing.  Is this possible?  I have tried many things and it just links directly to the vimeo page, leaving my site. Even a simple text link will not activate the pop-up.

Hi. I’m having issues with some plugins… i tried at least 4 carousel plugins, and neither works fine, and for all of them, the issue is the same. When i refresh the page “costumers” the carousel works just fine, but if i reach the page from the side menu “costumers”, it shows buggy (in this case, the slide stops working and the logos shows vertically). I repeat, this happens in some way with at least 4 carousel plugins… very annoying. Please tell me what’s going wrong. The site is http://www.vitlogistica.cl thanks!

The color of the buttons in my slider are white with white text. How do I change them? The “buttons > buttons background color” in dashboard samba options doesn’t seem to have any effect. If I remove the “background > background color” then the button text takes on the color of the theme, but the button color remains white (data-color=”#FFFFFF”)

Hi, Whilst the theme looks really great there does appears to be some things that just don’t really work from a user perspective (browsing wise).

1) On a portfolio page, if you filter by category, sure enough the page is filtered but when you click one of those items (portfolio detail view) the navigation arrows navigates through all the portfolio items not just the filtered ones, which is really not very useful.

Yes, its my own fault for not checking this particular behaviour on your test site first but to be honest I was so blown away by how your theme looked my analytical mind switched-off and my emotional one took charge.

Do you have any intention changing this behaviour?

2) When using AJAX calls I get blank pages every now and then, once you refresh the page if loads fine but not all potential site viewers know about refreshing (people from an older generation); the site works fine when not using AJAX but lets face it, without AJAX the theme’s just not as slick. I’ll email you about this problem as its probably an issue my end.

It is a great theme, there’s just the odd little issue hear and there.

On this slider page: http://almlive.com/live-events/ we want to have the ‘Childhelp “Great Gatsby”’ title to be in white and have the ‘WATCH LIVE’ button in red with the background changing to dark red when you hover over it. Is this possible? Can I customize these? -It appears that all these colors are linked so I cannot just edit one, it changes the colors for items I don’t want to change.

I would like like to have all the sub-menu be unseen (collapsed) unless the user’s arrow in over the selected menu category. My menu is position to the right. Is this look possible with this theme? If so, how do I achieve it? As of now, all menu title are shown with the sub menu categories being displayed indented.

Hi Pirenko, I’m almost finished with my customization of the theme but I may have been found a bug or a limitation. I’m using the Visual Composer to set up an accordion, and inside it I want to have a “latest portfolio” or an “Image Gallery / Image Grid” widget. However when opening the accordion the images don’t show because their size remains 0×0 px, probably because the isotope relayout is not fired then.
I’ve also noticed that the “Image Gallery / Image Grid” displays only the 1st image (others are 0×0 px) even if not in an accordion or tab.
It might be becaused of the changes I’ve done to the theme on my install but I don’t think I could have broken something there …
I’m working on v2.1 now if this can help.
Ah, and I also have a request: would it be possible to know the list of files that have been modified with each version, in order to upgrade a customized theme more easily ? – Thanks

Hey Pirenko, Today we installed WPML to have a bilingual site and the language switcher doesn’t get the good translated URL. I think it’s because of the javascript navigation, the translated-page URL value isn’t refreshed when we navigate and it keeps the translated URL of the first page we really load. Did you already experienced this with your language switcher? Do you have a bilingual demo version ? Thanks! J.

Hello Pirenko, I have 2 issues: 1. I use a category as a page. Where can I customize that page? I want to change the thumbnails padding, a thing you can change in a normal grid blog page. 2. When you navigate through the bar too fast (not really fast) the ajax tool doesnt seem to work and the left bar reloads again. Is there a way to solve this? 3. For my news section I have one ALL page which shows 3 categories of news. When I’m browsing the ALL page and i open a post and than i close it, it brings me back to the ALL page. That’s fine. But when i’m browsing the news in one of the 3 subcategories and i open a post it takes me back to the ALL page. I would like to take me back to the subcategory page i was browsing. Is that possible?
