sure, you can hide the complete heading for the blog area adding this custom rule to your custom styles (Flamingo Options > General > Custom CSS field):
.blog .section-title { display: none; }

Hello, For some reason the function for changing the logo position is not working. Even if I play with it, it has no effect on the logo position.

before, make sure you have your permalinks correctly set them, save changes to refresh them once you modify this.
If after that you are still in problems, open a support ticket and an admin user and pass and we´ll check your installation in order to know more about this issue.

hello…i installed a lightbox plugin (responsive lightbox it’s called) and i wanna use it for a gallery. when clicking on the image it looks like it’s about to load the lightbox then it stops and goes to the media file page.
i can’t seem to make it work. please help!

you don´t need to install any external lightbox plugin, the theme has its own lightbox for the grid galleries using prettyPhoto or colorBox.
Anyway, open a support ticket and provide us an admin user and pass in order to review the options for this particular plugin, maybe we can found the problem with it.

the theme serves video quality automatically depending on the internet connexion quality. If your video has a HD version ready, you should not have any problem displaying the hight quality version with normal internet connexions.
In case of Vimeo, make sure you have enabled the HD version when possible option. This is something like this:
MY SETTINGS > VIDEOS > FILE SETTINGS And check this option: > Always play my videos in HD, when possible
It is possible that now you would need a Vimeo Plus account to enable the HD embebed option. In any case, this is a Vimeo issue. The theme is managing all these options via the official Youtube and Vimeo APIs and serving the best quality depending on the bandwidth available.

the theme manages these icons/options via font awesome library, which offers the icons you can see here. As you can see, no Behance icon is provided on it.
In case you need to add a new behance link, you can do it hand code it directly in the footer.php file. In case you don´t know how to do this, we can help guiding you in order to add this element in your site. For this, open a support ticket and we will try to help with.

you can remove the gradient using this custom rule:
.bottom-menu-angle { display: none; }
In case you want to set up a solid color, you only need to select it with the color picker from the option panel, you will find the option within “General options > Menu Background Color”

the main slider that Flamingo uses is quite complex from the point of view of the layout. I think implementing such slider would not be easy. I don´t really know how it works in detail, but due to our theme´s layout that plugin would need be managed and customized in order to work properly.

I recommend you to opening a private support ticket in order to share with you the VC structure based on the project you are referring to. Notice that images won´t be included.
If you started installing the XML file the project structure should be created as well.
I can´t share the code here because of the amount of code generated and the format used here, it is for this reason we always recommend to open a support ticket instead discussing here.

You can fix the footer issue in two ways. This is caused because of the amount of links there.
The theme allows to use two different navigations areas, one for the main navigation at top part and other one for the footer. In this sense, you can use a custom navigation for the footer (selecting the number of options you want to add there). For this, just open Appearence > Menus and create a new menu area with the options you would like to add here and assign it only to the footer area. Take a look to this screenshot in order to view closer this option.
If you want to use the same amount of options like in your head navigation, you need to use a couple of custom rules. It is very easy, just add these rules to your custom css field (Flamingo options > General > Custom CSS):
.nav-footer { width: 56%; }
.copy-right { width: 43%; }
This will increase the available space for your footer´s nav options.
About the scroll to top option, I have tested and it is working fine. Which is the browser where you have found problems with?

Thanks for your quick reponse. I managed to fix it with following values.

But for scroll to top button, Im testing on firefox 26.0 still not working.
This is weird, because this feature is working correctly, but in case of your site is not working properly in FF. I´m not sure about where the problem could be, it is the first time I see this.
The only detail that I can suggest you is updating the theme, because you are using an older version of the theme. But in any case, the function to manage this behavior was not modified since it was included.

you can adjust the slide cycle time modifying custom.js (you will find this file inside js folder).
Here, depending if you are using the “fade” mode or the “slide” mode, you must to edit, in case of “fade” and around the line 152, the value for this property:
slideshowSpeed: 10000,
This corresponds to 10 seconds, just modify it as you prefer. In case of “slide” option enabled, the process is the same, you will find the related code around the line 254. Just add the property with the value you prefer (remember the comma at the end of the line).
About the blog description color, this section is special because some technical issues (taxonomies). It is for this reason you must to manage it from general options. You will find the option within Flamingo Options > General > “Page Description Color”

Flamingo is a portfolio retina ready. For example, if you upload your logo the theme will generate automatically the retina ready graphic; or other parts of the theme are directly rendered via CSS in order to display correctly in any HiDPI displays (icons, handlers…)
Just make sure you have installed the recommended plugin “Simple WP Retina”. The theme asks to install it when you start working with it.
