Do you plan on adding a billboard style posts / backgrounds? This is the only feature that is missing for me to consider SmartMag perfect

First of all, nice theme, I like the diversity.
My problem is the version of the page builder you apparently modified for this theme (ver. 1.3.7-mod). This version of the page builder unfortunately doesn´t use all installed widgets to build the blocks. I updated to version 1.4.6 but after activation it crashes the whole page 
Are you planned to update the modified version of the page builder plugin in the near future?
We only have included the widgets that we have specially styled for the theme. We will, in a near future version, add an option to enable all WordPress widgets – we don’t wish to enable it by default as new users get overwhelmed.

Hi quick question… are the ad slots static or can more than 1 ad be attached under one spot.
You can place as many ads you want in sidebar and on homepage between content area but the ad next to logo on top-right is highly recommended to be a single ad – though there isn’t any limit placed.

We have just tested it again on Windows, OS X, and Ubuntu – everything seems to be working fine.
Our server was getting hammered a bit, perhaps try ctrl + f5 to hard refresh – it’s possible the Javascript load got interrupted.

1. What options do you select to create the ‘top highlighted’ section on your demo site homepage e.g. It’s got a 100% grey bar and 2 columns – 1 main and 2 sub (reviews)
2. In your demo footer you have a newsletter sign-up box, where is the option for that?

When you have 8 posts marked as “Featured Slider Post?”, 3 of them will display on the right side.

That fixed it, thank you! – Interestingly – you have stories with images then you click to the main story > There’s no image I couldn’t see an obvious option for this, how can you ‘turn off’ the image when viewing the single post?
Do you wish to disable the image that appears on top of the article when viewing a single article?
Go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Page/Post Settings and under “Show Featured” click to change it to “No”. Save Settings.

Though, oddly enough, on your site you’ve got a mix of images and no images, this has disabled images globally and no way of being selective..
We have images in all posts except for pages, on demo. Can you please point out a link where you’re not seeing the images?

The “Latest Gallery Carousel” in the page builder works only when I choose “Limit to Category:Not Limited”, if I choose a particular category the Gallery does not show any images. Could you please help me how should I go about this problem. Thank you very much
We have identified that Latest Gallery situation is buggy in this situation since version 1.0.5. A fix will be released with version 1.1 within 24-36 hours.

I bought this theme and I would display a post slider (600×300) in the homepage. I have read the documentation, create a new page (homepage) and tried to add a slider in the page builder, but I still can’t see it. Can you gime some more detailed advice? please forgive my rusty english.

I have purchased this theme and love it! I just have two questions.
1. How do I disable the mega menu? I just want to use the regular drop downs.
2. When I enable the top bar, everything on the website disappears but the top bar. Have you heard anyone having this issue before?

1. Mega menus are disabled by default. They have to be enabled manually, as you can see here: http://theme-sphere.com/smart-mag/documentation/#setup-navigation
If you imported the menu, or for existing menu items, go to Appearance > Menus, edit top-level items and set “Mega Menu” option to “Disabled”.
2. That’s quite odd. We haven’t come across this issue yet, but we’ll be able to troubleshoot it for you.

This theme is really amazing. I spend lots of hours last night playing around with the many options of this theme.
Although one option is missing. There is no option to enable Page Builder to recognize Custom Post Types. (Normally this option is in Dasboard > Page Builder > Settings). So, now my CPT don’t appear on the Homepage. Could you fix this?

I am really looking forward to see you adding bbpress feature to this theme pack soon, we need it before we can confirm the purchase. Also, are we able to have user rating feature in this theme rating system?

You will still need to setup widgets such as footer widgets manually, but their names and purpose is self-explanatory in most of them. But if you’re a new WordPress user, you will definitely need a bit of step by step guidance.

Thanks for the quick response. I decided to follow the instructions and build it from scratch. It´s actually quite simple when you have those instructions so thank you so much for pointing them out – had not noticed them when i purchased the theme.

That’s weird – I don’t see a fixed nav when i scroll?
I was referring to something a bit more detailed, ie users adding their own reviews through the comments system including rating along the same criteria as the review and pros/cons etc. This would be awesome for lots of sites as it really would mean that a page has awesome content and should rank really well because of it. There are only 2 themes I’ve seen on the themforest that do this, and although they do it well, the design of the overall sites isnt as good as yours!
.1 The sticky navigation isn’t enabled by default on the demo. Please use the demo customizer at the left side, under “Sticky Navigation” click Enable.
2. Thanks for the explanation. We’ll definitely consider this suggestion farther in future as it’s exciting, but there’s no near-future plan for this. Sorry about that.

Actually, never mind. However, I am facing a new problem. How do I set it so that the main page is sorted in to categories AND how do I get the featured images at the top? THANK YOU
