Hi, is there any way that the images on the nectar slider (I’m using svg’s) can fade in and put and not slide?
I’m using svg gradients and thing they will look amazing fading in and out of each other, at the moment I’m having to have a seamless gradient from one slide to another to maintain the effect.

unfortunately that’s not possible for the Nectar Slider without a good deal of custom development – but if you can get by with the Home Slider, that would supports it and also the basic gallery style in the page builder gallery element

1. I’ll look into it again soon, as of a few months ago when I last checked, Google+ did not allow for a share count to be retrieved outside of their default sharing button they provide which is why I have not added it as an option in Salient yet. I would be forced to either drop the counts for the other buttons or have Google+ not display a count and look broken.
2/3. I’ll add these items to the wishlist.

Thank you. For item 1, perhaps you could provide an option that shows only the sharing buttons without the counters. I know the counters are helpful, but it would be nice to have the sharing buttons for all three social sites.
That’s one possibility – but I am also going to look back into grabbing the share count and hopefully can find a way

Hi, I recently updated the plugins for my website, woocommerce, Jetpack and woothemes helper etc and just noticed that the lightbox on all the product pages have stopped working. Instead of a lightbox appearing. The image opens up in a new page I have no idea how to turn them back on. I’m not web or code savvy? So was hoping to find an easy way to make it work again. Thank you!

Hey – just got in and found the issue. You had a blog element placed inside of one of your posts which caused an infinite loop of blogs to be displayed on the main page. If you’re going to do that, use the read more above it to ensure it won’t display on the main posts page

hi, only when the Featured Image is set , pictures appear on the main list. under the above condition, definition of small size of pictures gets lower because the small size of picutures are stretched . i wonder whethere there is any way to show pictures on the main list without setting Featyred Image.

Are you referring to the blog? If so, here’s a css snippet to paste into your custom css box in the Salient Options panel > General Settings tab to allow smaller images to not stretch:

What is making you say it’s not retina ready? All of the controls / design elements to the slider itself use retina ready icons which will display crisp no matter the resolution/pixel density and the images will load at the full size you upload them.

Can I play video portfolio items right in the masonry portfolio list page, without having to mouse over, click on “watch video”, and then go into the individual item to play the video? (I notice that this is possible for blogs, playing a video blog right in the masonry blog list page)

The latest update is really incredible…well done and thank you! I think I found one small glitch I’m trying to sort out. In the portfolio section I get a mysterious black box which only goes away when I check the box for “gallery slider”. Example here: http://www.redhotchilipepperstribute.com/portfolio/photos/
When I check the gallery slider option, the mystery black box goes away but then I’m left with two red arrows oddly placed that don’t have any function.

Hello! Did you noticed that “Masonry Sizing” doesn’t work anymore… for example, an image of 700×800 doesn’t resize for 500×500 when ‘Regular’ is selected… and I also noticed the same problem with woocommerce… !!??
Hey again – no, I can’t replicate that issue and that sounds like something that a browser update would not be capable of doing. Are you sure the images you’re setting are images you uploaded to the server after activating Salient? Any images that already existed on the server prior to using the theme won’t have the Salient specific sizes. You can use this to recreate the sizes for older images: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ but if that’s not the issue – please open a ticket on the support forum here: http://themenectar.ticksy.com and let me know the ticket number
Nop… I use this theme since 3 months now and I noticed this problem since the 3.1… I change my server a week ago tho… is there any PHP/Ajax configurations that can block those kind of script? (I use a VPS under Centos WHM.Cpanel)
The image sizes are created through the standard WordPress method of defining image sizes – can you please open that ticket so I can take a look?

Yes, the demo just has the standard portfolio layout selected in the options panel – you can alter that to be any of the styles though

Hi there! Great theme! I am probably going to purchase Salient, but I have a pre-sales question.
In my blog, I like to use full width images in posts. With my current theme, I have to upload images with 700px width. However, I noticed that Salient sidebar layout has a 800px container.
If I install Salient would all images adjust to 800px or will I have to use some CSS tricks?

All images would automatically stretch to reach 800px, but this would slightly reduce the quality on the wide desktop view where that has to happen.
