1) Is it possible to modify Bynard popular posts widget so that the popular posts are generated by the number of views instead of the nr of comments,like it is now?
2) If I integrate Diqus or Facebook comments with my site, and remove original smart mag comments, will the popular posts stop working, or will they be now affected by Disqus comments?Can I place Disqus/facebook comment box in the same spot where original comments are. 2. Disqus plugin automatically syncs comments to WordPress (as long as it’s not disabled) so the popular post widget will still work.

Translation and Internalization is fully supported using the standard WordPress way. So yes, every language can work. We haven’t tested the plugin you have mentioned, but we’re fully compatible with WPML – the industry-standard plugin for multi-lingual sites.

Hey. There isn’t a left sidebar option by default but you can have right sidebar or full-width page on any page or post. And yes both can exist at the same time. There was a modification posted for left sidebar too on the forums but that replaces right sidebar.

Quick pre-sales question. On the home page where you have a category with a large newest post followed by smaller thumbnail older posts, could those be set to the same size thumbnail on each post? For non-bloggers this is a must as we may use it as a magazine type layout where we want all posts in that widgetarea to be layed out the same. Thanks!
Hey. That’s an interesting question. It’s not a default option but we can guide you how to do that. But if you take the highlighted post away (first post), it might not be as aesthetically pleasing/look as good anymore.

I’m looking at using this theme for a Asian Pop Culture website which covers subjects like Anime, Manga, Videogames, Cosplay and Music amongst other subjects and I was wondering if it’s suitable for the subject matter if I customize it myself.
Also, are there any options in the theme itself so that if a user wanted to select another theme or change the color of the scheme itself, they can do so?

1. This is a magazine style theme which is perfectly suited for content sites like the one you mentioned. As you can see in our demo, the blocks available can be mix n’ matched to create a unique style.
2. The site admins have access to Theme Settings where they can change things like colors, color scheme, typography, and so on.

Also, can you tell me what size is the logo on the top of the page for those who want to create custom logo’s and is there a option where everytime a page is loaded, the logo changes to a new one?
The recommended dimensions for logo are less than 300px width and 135px height. But you can use any dimensions you want. Regarding a a random logo, that won’t be a default feature but are you referring to a banner rotator? You can use existing plugins for that. But if it’s about a random logo, we can help you with it if you post it at our Support Forums.

Love the theme, but have sme prepurchase questions. 1) How can a user which comes on the site make a review for a certain post? Does he have to login anywhere? We saw something about this in your documentation, but can’t tell how the review/rate is given. 2.) When a user leaves a comment, from where does it take its avatar? From gravatar?

1. The reviews are supposed to be written by the website editors. Normal users will not be able to post reviews. You can allow them to rate (1/10) using a plugin though.
2. Yes. That’s default WordPress behavior. Comments use Gravatars.

1. By default, everything is based on posts for obvious category/post relationships of a typical magazine style site. It’s very uncommon to use pages for this purpose.
You will not be able to achieve the same home-page look using pages, by default, but you will need to edit each of the blocks used and change the query to use pages instead of posts. Also, pages do not have categorization by default so the blocks would be just listing pages by date. While we can guide you with what to edit to achieve this (as some users had already requested this for slider and for some blocks), it’s not something we would recommend. It’s better to re-analyze your options.

Hey Simon.
1. There’s currently only one slider available by default (the one you can see on demo) but if you have some other slider plugin, we can help you with that. A few of our users had asked to make it full-width, change size and so on – the solutions are available in our private support forum.
2. The feedburner subscription example you see on demo, in the footer, can be used in sidebar as well. Additionally, any other widget provided by many other free plugins will also work.

Great theme. Loving it so far. Quick question – Is it possible to use audio mp3=”http://xyz.com/happy.mp3” in an excerpt? I tried inserting it, but it shows just up as text.

Hardly any info on the pagebuilder nor any sort of material to showcase it except for a page with 200 words. “http://theme-sphere.com/smart-mag/drag-drop-page-builder/” What does it offer compared to visual builder or is it completely stock? The changelog mentions do not give any insight. A picture speaks a thousand words.
