According to Wordpress, embedding a Pinterest board or pin is as simple as creating a post, pasting in the URL, and disconnecting the link. The image is suppose to automatically show.
However, all that shows for me is the text link.

Can you verify the image is only not showing in Salient? You can test this by simply switching themes to one of the default ones for a second

hi, i have updated the theme files to the latest update using the FTP but when i am trying to insert shortcode the width of the shortcodelist becomes smaller. how can i make it back to it original width

When you updated did you delete the old theme version first? Simply overwriting can cause weird issues sometimes. Also have you cleared your cache?

You can update by downloading a fresh copy from ThemeForest, deleting the current version you have on your server and uploading the new. I recommend using FTP, but you can use the WP dashboard if you prefer. You won’t lose any of your content or theme settings so don’t worry about that if you were

I’m not sure if all of the widgets can be used outside the main shop pages, but you could try and add them to the regular sidebar and conditionally only show them on your desired page via a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/

1. I’m using Events Calendar, but the Visual Composer does not show in that post type. (No button).
2. How can I fully disable the forked version of VC that yo are using. Having the up to date plug is MUCH more attractive not!

1. If you’re removing the Salient VC, you’ll have to edit the plugin files directly for this (ask WPBakery where to add that in in regards) I only can point you to the mod if you’re using the Salient version because the section to edit will be different.
2. Open the functions.php file and search for# Nectar VC& delete the whole section. Just stop deleting when you reach

Thank for the reply. I managed to get it working in the custom post by editing settings.php and showing the VC menu again.
Will your reply to ‘2.’ allow me to install the stand alone plugin?
Do you have plans to update to the latest Visual Composer any time soon?
I appreciate the hard work you have put in to your version of the plugin, but it’s recent updates are impressive and thus.
2 will indeed remove all Salient VC functionality and allow the plugin to work normally.
I’m still going to wait a little for that version to settle down as I know there’s some bugs that people have been reporting and also need to consider the effects on integration as far as Salient is concerned before I made a decision.

I am a volunteer for a new human rights charity that will go to LEDC’s provide food, water and clothes for those without it. I have consulted the founder and I have told him I’d be more than proud and privileged to create them a website for free. I had asked about it back in early January in ticksy ticket #142064. You mentioned you knew how to do it in hash but there were already too many things on the list for v3.0. I don’t favor jquery bbq over another hash solution, just noticed that it was the one isotope seems to work with well.
Do you know how soon you would look to implement that feature?

1. You can choose “top” for the “Vertical Alignment” in your slide.
2. You can use the typography options in your theme options panel to choose a new font / weight for the slider caption/heading.
3. There’s an option for “Caption Background” in your slide edit/create page, but there’s no option to place a background on the header without custom css.

Hi I am currently having fun with the theme, but I’ve come across what appears to be a major flaw. I have 3 separate portfolio pages, each with a selection of portfolio categories.
However in your admin you are only allowed to enter in one Main Portfolio Page URL, which means lets say I assign that to return to me underwater photos portfolio, that works fine when I am actually looking at that portfolio. However if I am currently looking at the nature portfolio, I really don’t want to click back and be taken to the underwater portfolio. That wouldn’t make sense.
Am I missing something here or is this a flaw with this otherwise great theme?

There’s actually an option for “Parent Portfolio Override” in side each project configuration box. This will allow you to direct that button to any portfolio page you need
