Just to underline the two bugs pointed out: on the Blog section, instead of the page header title, it shows the title of the last post (at least for the masonry type).

Also, the latin characters (like é or â) are not loading properly.

Again, i almost feel bad to point out minor glitches, as you just keep surprising us with more and more fantastic coding and design skills!

It was a bit of a hobbie for me to come and check out new themes on Themeforest. Haven’t had the impulse to buy more since Salient is so flexible and can achieve many totally individual layouts.

Really sorry for sounding like a spammer, but i just forgot to make a question: is it possible to use a Google Map in the Contact page in the same way we use an image for a transparent header?

I’m not able to achieve that right now. Even though i tried changing the height of the Map, the menu keeps solid in that section (other pages are working at their best with images and transparent menu).

2. The blog bug has already been sorted and the fix will be included in tonights minor release.

3. Extended Latin Characters have never been loaded in by default and it’s always required you to check the box for “Load Ext. Characters in Default Font” in the typography options tab of the Salient options panel. I have tested this again just now and all seems to work normally as before – are you experiencing the characters not loading in with that option active?

4. The map is not listed in the applicable elements to trigger the transparent header since it would be really hard to read the nav items over it. As of now it will only get used if a page header or slider is used at the top. This could be extended in future releases though

1. The only widget areas in the footer are the main columns above the copyright which you’ve turned off. If you want links in the copyright section you’d need to add them in the footer.php file.

2. Looking at your source code I can see HTML in that space that appears to be from you:

 
<p><a name="xbox_gift_card" class="local"></a></p>

Please switch into the text tab on your editor and remove it & any extra spaces that may be there to get rid of the p tag

From what I can see the issue may have been as simple as you accidentally have a blank space entered in for your page header. Make sure those inputs are empty if you don’t intend on using the page header.

It appears your header.php is using outdated markup – do you perhaps have a child theme with that file in it? If so you need to update that to match the current version. If that’s not the case, please just make sure you have the latest header.php file from 4.0
