initially you should have not problems with these widgets, some like contact-form-7 is included with the theme and other uses like SEO plugins work too.
They should work but maybe some integration by your part could be needed.

I´m sorry to say that it is not possible to mix menu behaviors via options implemented in the option panel. Any modification in this sense would need a customization of the envolved code (javascript/css) and we don´t provide customizations as part of the support tasks.

the current VC version is ready for a function related to the WP editor (TinyMCE) that won´t be available until April 16th. We have a new review fixing some minor details and we will release the new update next week with all the needed adjusts for the new modifications for Wordpress 3.9 that, as I say, it won´t be ready since 16th in this month. So don´t worry about this.

I figured out the youtube/vimeo issue, it doesn’t work under Safari.

as you can see in the theme´s description and other threads here explaining the same issue, the images used in the demo are not included with the theme, in their place, when you install the XML, a placeholder image is used instead one. This will help you to compose your own layout based in a copy of the demo.
In case of the image sizes, you can use any size, the theme will adapt this size for each thumb within the portfolio area. And in case of the featured/hero image, you can use a size around 1280×720 or 1920×1080 in case they are not too much heavy.
You should not have any problem with the videos. Once you activate the “Video background” option, automatically the theme activates new fields under this option with the instructions in the caption talking about the detail that you only need to add the video ID, not the complete URL.
But anyway, if you have any problem with it, just open a support ticket and provide us with an admin user and password and we will take a look to the way you are adding your contents in this option.

Hi, I’ve purchased this item yesterday, it looks fantastic but, i’ve uploaded it via zip in a clean wp 3.8.1 installation and: 1) I can’t see VC composer anywhere, not in plugins, nor in tools 2) Envato toolkit is missing too
Maybe they¡re not included? But, in this case i think it’s not clear in the instructions.

Visual composer and the other plugins are included with the theme, please, make sure you are following the instructions installing the theme as you can see in this part of the documentation. We recommend to install all the plugins that the installer manager asks at the beginning.

you can adjust the portfolio width (making bigger your thumbs), adding this custom rule to your custom css:
.page-template-portfolio .main-page { max-width: 1440px; }
Just adjust the size as you prefer there. Remember that you can adjust the columns number directly from the option panel too.
About the background color, I´m not sure exactly what you mean. But anyway, if you search inside style.css for ‘dark-layout’, you will see all the elements and colors related. Just take these styles as guide and add to your custom styles any rule modifying the black color for your preferred one.

you can increase or modify the header using this other custom rule:
.inner-header { max-width: 1440px; }
In case of the color layout, you can add your own custom rules directly from the option in Flamingo > General > Custom CSS field.
There you must to add the rules based on the styles we talked before. Just search for ‘dark-layout’ inside style.css in order to view the color scheme and the elements dependent. Basically, if you want to change the black color elements, search for the #000 color and replace it with the new one. Copy the rules from the style.css field and paste it in the custom css field and modify the color values there.
Notice that if you do the changes directly within style.css, each time you update the theme, your changes will be loose because they will be overwritten with the updated files. For this reason using the child theme or the custom css field is the best way to customize more in deep any Wordpress theme.

you can adjust the project thumbnails padding with this other custom rule:
.featured ul li,
.projects ul li { padding: 0; }
.featured refers to the project grid you can add with the VC widget in order to have consistency if you modify the padding in your portfolio area and you would add the widget in some other part of your site
What about the Footer and social media? (1440) sorry but so hard to find these….

the rule to manage these elements is:
.inner-subfooter { max-width: 1440px; }
It is pretty easy to find these elements with the Chrome inspector and the code I think it is organized trying to make it as easy as possible to understand. For example, you can see classes like ”.inner-header” (header area), ”.projects” (portfolio projects), ”.inner-subfooter” (footer)...

You can add a button to fire the gallery or trigger the image click to the gallery firing too. Just adding a single class when adding any element using the page builder. This is an alternative way to launch the gallery we added some updates ago.

Inside any project page you can add both kind of images, portrait or landscape. With the page builder is very easy to add any kind of contents. For example, you can mix within a project different images like portrait and landscape or adding a slider with descriptions…

the theme does not integrates WooCommerce. But it looks to support the most styles part, so it could be easy to use it. Maybe we would integrate it in some future update. We are not sure about this.

honestly I don´t think we´ll include such option to swipe items in that way. I understand you mean on mobile devices, right?
Flamingo uses a feature to detect swipe inputs for the main slider and the other carousel or sliders are dependent of the page builder options that don´t support swipe gestures in the context you explain.

in case of the slider, you can style in a easy way each slide title following this quick guide you can find within the documentation.
If you would like to style the slide titles or the sections titles only for mobile devices, you could use a media query into your custom styles in order to style them as you prefer.
Hope it will help to understand better how to customize some parts of the theme.

Any tips for the logo to be sharper? I just noticed that when I upload a logo to my blog (with a Flamingo theme), it is a little bit pixelated more than the iPhone version. I’ve checked my size and Save Settings and it’s all fine. I’ve also tried uploading the same logo (from the Flamingo-themed blog) on a different Wordpress blog that I have just to test if it’s my resolution, and it seems to be sharp versus the Flamingo container. So I’m pretty sure it’s not my resolution.

make sure you are uploading a retina graphic ready in case you have the option enabled.
If you are still in problems with it, please, provide an admin user and password to your installation and we will check that everything is correctly in your option panel. For this, just open a private support ticket and we will back to you asap.

to enable a retina logo, just set your logo sizes within the option panel, for example, 100px x 100px. And then you must to upload your logo image with a 200px x 200px size.
Make sure your logo size and settings fit the same sizes. In other way, open a support ticket and we will review this issue directly from your settings.

Flamingo has its own layout for content and it uses a page builder to create the different content layouts, so in this sense the possibilities are quite big in terms of creating content areas.
References you show here are sites quite different in terms of concept and approach. If you are searching for something similar, maybe Flamingo is not your choice.
If you have more doubts, I recommend you opening a private support ticket and provide there so many screenshots or references as you want, here this kind of details do not help others who could have doubts about the theme or pre sale questions really related to it (links to other themes are not allowed either).
Remember that we don´t provide customizations for our themes. This means that, in case you go ahead purchasing it, support tasks are only available for tasks related with the theme itself, easy changes or modifications via CSS or fixing some possible errors the theme could have. But we never will provide support for deep modifications or custom ideas by your part.

first of all, thank you very much about the screenshots, this kind of assets help us a lot to understand any kind of issue
Please, could you let me know which device are you using and mobile browser to display the theme? I would like to emulate the same scenario in order to recreate these issues. They will be fixed and improved with the next update.
Related to the other doubts:
1. You could change this color part and transparency in a very easy way via CSS.
2. You could use the carrousel widget in order to achieve something like that. In the demo they are only a client list.
3. Regarding to the different background images or videos for the top part and the bottom (both at the same time). This could not be possible with the theme options, this would need some development by your part.
About the other queries. I need to reproduce the same size that your device has in order to review this better and fix the possible details related.
You can see a parallax example, here. This is other layout mode, you can select from three choices. Angled layout, straight layout or minimal layout. The first two can enable or disable the parallax effect. The last one does not use any background media.
Hope it will be useful for you. In my case it would be very useful to know which device and browser you have used to make these screenshots. I will review these details.
And don´t worry about the future of Flamingo in terms of support. It is currently supported and it will be for a long time and any useful improvement could be added in new updates

The phone is HTC / Android kitkat 4.4.2 / Display 4.3 inches, browser is a standard. Similarly shows and dolphin browser.
2 – Can you add to the theme a few different options for displaying the logos of customers. Because if the logos are many now as shown of the mobile version is much longer (5 of screen), and browse through the site will be bored while they jump.
Personally, I prefer to choose between 2/3 variant options offered by the creators of the topic. I do not want me to develop the theme, because if I did, I would have at each new upgrade of the WordPress or theme/ widget to change everything manually.
3 – Will be much better if you add in the next update in this thread 2/3 different layout options for the upper and bottom. To be able to put different images at the top and bottom.

It’s me again. I’ve come across an issue when trying to right-align a header text. For example, even after changing the “claim align” to “right”, the line underneath it doesn’t follow with the text. It follows when you center it, but not when you right-align it. Any solution to this? See screenshot below.
