If I uncheck this option (Gallery slider) there is a big picture of the main picture at the top of the gallery, if I delete the main image from the right column, there is a big black block at the top of the gallery. How can I fix this? Do you want a pic? Thank you very much!!!

Hey palsy1149, there was a new video tutorial released this weekend covering the new column options in 4.0 – however the dummy data import process is going to be the same as before. There’s simply two different sets included now so you’re free to import the one you desire

Hey again – unfortunately I’ve yet to replicate what’s shown in the video one time out of 20+ loads (numerous without cache) on both OS’s – but I have something for you to try to see if it clears it up on your end. Open the nectar-slider.js file located in the js folder of the theme and change this line:

it fixed the error, now it comes back to his place at the moment the page load, the only thing i dont like, is the people see it coming from the bottom always when loading the page, instead just appearing in the correct place from the beginning.

Hey again – one more thing you can try to remedy that is removing the “slideContentPos();” in this (still working in the same file):

Yes – you can actually just add custom menu links into the secondary menu which contain no link (enter ”#” in for it). Or you can alternatively add static text list items to the secondary menu in the header.php file if you’d prefer

the theme .po/.mo files are located inside of the lang folder – the full path on your server can be found at wp-content/themes/salient/lang you must rename the default.po and default.mo to match your current language – in your case they should be named nl_NL.po and nl_NL.mo

Right now that would require you to use the add media button instead of the visual composer image element – the animation can be retained by simply setting it on the column holding the image you will place in the text block with this method.

the only way to do this would be to use the regular add media button inside a text block – that way you can have access to the regular wordpress image sizes but unfortunately still no easy way to define a custom one.

The image gallery element will allow your images to touch side by side with no padding if you select any style other than the default and choose for a fullwidth display. Unfortunately there’s no masonry option for the image gallery but you can still use portfolio items to make this work as there’s both the option to display a portfolio as gallery only (with no single project page) and also the option to lik projects to external links if you wanted.

You just need to check the option for “lightbox only” in your portfolio element when adding it to the page through the visual composer view or via the shortcode
