In case of the logo, here you have a FAQ about this detail on mobile devices. This is a natural behavior for wide logos due to the retina options, it is explained within the FAQ

But this is the normal behavior for mobiles, when you are in small screens the background and options hide in order to have more available space in small screens.

It is opened in desktop views, but for mobiles the menu is hidden because usability reasons. If you check the most themes or sites at the moment are working in the same way, hiding the menu on small screens because it helps to have more profitable space.

Hi, I helped you guys out with testing the updated style.css yesterday. But.. there still is a problem folks.
1) Hexagon broken in Firefox 28.0 2) Spacing/padding way off in Safari 7.0.3. and Firefox 28.0 3) The horizontal separator line is gone in Safari and Firefox
I’ve added this to the ticket with a screenshot.
Please fix it.
Btw here’s my review for the Flamingo theme.
Support & Bugs I’m very disappointed about the lack of proper support. It started of with questions only being half answered. And now visual elements that are not checked if they work on every browser.
The design looks great but, but again the visual elements are broken. Which basically leaves me stuck with a inconsistent/buggy product.
I’m sorry folks, this made the whole experience very cumbersome. The sad thing is though, that I won’t ever buy a theme from you guys again. Nor will I recommend it.

With the last VC update have changed a lot of classes in some elements like the separators and some details could skip of our review.

OK, thank you very much for understanding all my explanations via support about the issues derived by the WP3.9 update caused by the last VC update and we have fixed within the last 24h.
With the last theme version/update all these details have been fixed and the theme looks like it was doing until now. Only separators were broken and now are fixed. I don´t think this is a reason to say that we have not provided a good support or the theme is buggy or a inconsistent product.

Regarding the featured images I added the codes to make the paddings smaller but there seems to be only two options padding 1 or 0.

So I went into the pages > portfolio page > and used the visual composer to create the Grid but doesn’t seem to effect the page. I must be doing something wrong…

the value you put there would be not correct in any case, because you need to specify the measure in px or other.

Actually I found how to use the related project. It was at the top and you have to click this x. Is it possible to have the 3 projects just sitting at the bottom of the page??

to enable the “related work” feature is really easy. You can take a look to this part of the documentation in order to know more.
In case you would like to modify the place where the related projects are displayed you will need to customize the theme via the related php file for the single projects, css and probably javascript.
In this sense we don´t provide customizations as part of the support tasks. We are planning to open a customization line for this kind of customizations and tweaks with a rate/hour, but not by now.

I did a test on my phone and the PC browser , and saw this. Can you optimize better the mobile version?
1- In the mobile version, there are no categories of the portfolio! Why? Can you add them?

2- Mostly for mobile version: Can we optimize buttons “load more” portfolio not to load more projects before, to be being pressed button loaded more? Currently, the button automatically loaded. If there are many projects they are loaded, automatic and takes a long time to get to the bottom.

Most of these issues are fixed with late versions of Flamingo. We will update the demo version too.
Other options you propose won´t be in future updates and they are not in our plans.

I´m not really sure about what you mean with changing the menu on mobile.
Probably Flamingo is one of the themes that offers more menu layouts customizations via option panel you can find all around. It is for this reason we don´t think we will add more options in this sense.
Flamingo will add some other functionalities for future updates like official WooCommerce support.

you can update the page builder just taking the js_composer.zip you will find within the theme´s folder > lib > plugins. Take this file and uncompress it in wp-content/plugins. Just replace the older files in order to update VC to the last version, currently it is v4.1.1.1.

we would need to take a look to your installation in order to check if everything is correctly installed. For this, just open a private support ticket and provide an admin user and pass to your site.
Initially if you install the location plugin the theme should display the location map field.

Is the portfolio limited in how many images it can contain? Is it possible to have 2 different portfolio pages with different titles Can woocommerce be used with this site? The portfolio has no limit about the images that it can contains. You ara able to have two different portfolios, the only one limitation here is that you only can add a “Back to porftolio” button only in one of them, if you don´t add this button both portfolios will work in a normal way.
After seeing the demand about WooCommerce we are studying to add official support to it. The same for a Tweak Service by our part. We will publish in a couple of weeks an hour rate for this kind of tasks that they will be handle for us directly.

To Van: As you are aware, WP 3.9 has come out. This version creates huge problems with Visual Composer. Can we expect an update of VC very soon?
To others:
DON’T UPDATE TO WP 3.9 unless you update Visual Composer AS WELL to the latest version.
Common problems when you update to 3.9 without a VC update:
- Editing becomes almost impossible. - Text blocks are replaced with VC code blocks. - Page structure breaks beyond repair
When you don’t update to WP 3.9, everything keeps working fine.

you can add videos from Vimeo and Youtube as hero/top media items in a very easy way. They will remain fixed in the background while scrolling.

Hi there, I’ve recently purchased this theme. Awesome work. Along the process of building our website I came across a few things that at first I couldn’t figure out myself. Most of those I’ve already tackled.
However, I’m trying to add a full screen Youtube video to a certain portfolio-item. All goes well when copying over the ID of the youtube video. Shows perfectly. But what I really need is to be able to add a Youtube video starting at for example 23sec. To skip an intro in a video and straight go the visuals of the video. When trying to add ”?t=23s” to the end of the video-ID, the video still starts at 00:00sec instead of 23 sec.
How do I get it to recognize the start point of the video.

I´m sorry to say that there is not currently a easy way to achieve this with the theme´s options. You can´t pass a timing attribute directly in the ID video field.
If the video you are referring to is placed within the content, you can try to use the RAW HTML widget and trying to add directly the iframe element to your video and adding there the time attribute to the URL, maybe this could be a solution. In case of the videos as part of the top main area, this is not possible.

notice that it is not usual to provide tools to edit images or videos with any theme. This kind of options are not usually part of option panels, any edition should be do it over the video and not with a theme option. I mean, if you want to start your video at the second 23, you should edit it to start there.
I will put in common this detail with my mate in order to evaluate this option, but initially I would say that it won´t be added in the future.

We thought about editing the videos too, but the problem is, that it are not our videos. They are from the artists we represent with our agency. It’s not a big problem though that it’s not working/editable through the admin. I thought I might have missed something or did something wrong Thanks again!
One more question … What if I were to edit the video as suggested and upload it to our own server. (so not uploading it to YT or Vimeo). Would it be possible to insert the video then? Or are only YT and Vimeo supported? Thanks for your time in advance.

I do have some issues though after updating to 3.9 . This screenshot shows one of them.

as Tom has reported, updating to WP 3.9 without the VC last version could cause some issues.
We are updating the theme during this weekend with the last VC version in order to prevent any drawback like this one.
