After installing the new version of the theme (which is great and you offer splendid customer service), some browsers can’t use the gallery by browsing, i. e. you open one photo and then just click the next/previous arrow, but only one photo appears in a lightbox, then you have to close it and open separately the next one. Do you have any idea what went wrong as this (browsing through pics in the gallery) worked perfect before …
In which browser you faced this issue?
Google Chrome, IE 11.
I’ve checked many combinations to find the problem (which is probably trivial). Gallery works perfectly on all browsers on Win 8.1, and on some computers on Win 7. But on 3 computers with Win 7 none of the browsers shows the gallery properly, the same problem. A mistery?
I’m using Windows 8 and it works fine in all browsers. It must work on Windows 7 as well.

All the navigation links are for your own site so there is no use to open them in new tab or window. New tabs or window are for external links.
Thanks for creating a great theme! How can I remove the “Read More” button? Each post will show the full article and if needed, readers can view and leave comments by clicking on “Comments” underneath.
In the latest version I removed read more button if full content is selected for homepage.
I have “Full Content” selected in the Homepage tab, but it still shows the “Read More” button. I downloaded the theme earlier this week, is there a more recent version out?

Yes a new version is available. One more version is coming within 2-3 days because of framework update. You can download the theme again and upload it using all files will be replaced.

You can edit the file. Because responsive CSS file hardly need any changes in future.

You can add it to article body to show it below title and hide the featured video.

You can translate the theme using po and mo files. Many guides are available over internet for this thing. It is also explained in the documentation.
All the predefined text in the theme can be translated using these files.

In the header you can only add a logo. But to make it like banner you can add long width logo.
Great theme.. just one thing. How can i hide settings from the theme options panel for lower level users? i want them to have control over certain parts but not for certain items or how can i hide them in general?
For example how can i hide the following options:
Theme options > Layout settings > Main Layout Options ( i want to disable this option only)Theme options > Header ( i want to disable/hide this in general )
I was digging around but couldn’t find where i can hide these options.

Disregard the part for lower level users, i just want to hide the options in general. Even if its for the admin. I plan on keeping one layout, thanks.
It’s not possible to hide few options. If you have little knowledge of coding, you can remove it from the file.
So i can’t hide the layout option settings? i tried looking in the ‘ReduxCore’ files but couldn’t find it to remove that line or comment out the settings.
Options are in this file goblog/options/sample/sample-config.php
You can remove the options that you don’t need.
i removed and commented the lines i didn’t need but it still shows up the options. do i have to rename the sample-config.php file to something else?

What metrics is the theme using for it’s GoBlog Popular Posts widget? Mine hasn’t been updating, but I wonder if it requires Jetpack’s Site Stats to function correctly.

You can logo to max width of 1170px in header style 2.
No problems for kind words – really great work. Yes I already had my logo set to 1170px – I was hoping to increase the width to match the fullwidth option which is 1960px. At the moment the 1170px mirrors the navigation menu – I was hoping to stretch it to mirror the header sliders as I have enabled the fullwidth layout. Cheers
You can add background image instead logo for that purpose.

hi. just setup an account on bluehost and installed this theme. when i try to change anything in appearances and hit “save and publish” nothing happens. if i switch back to a different them and try the changes are saved properly. i can then switch to the goblog theme and see the changes. any idea why i can’t change any items (site title, remove sidebar widget) using the goblog theme?

According to the ad widget included with GoBlog, the sidebar should be able to handle a 300×250 ad. However, my Google Ad that is 300×250 doesnt’ display correctly. It seems to expanded beyond the borders. How can I fix this?

Google has responsive ads, which is what I’m using. But it still won’t conform to the sidebar. Oh well, I guess there’s nothing I can do about it.

i have a problem with the theme. I use a fresh WordPress 3.9. When I call the Theme Options, I get the menu displayed on the left (General Settings, Layout Settings, etc.), but on the right there is only a white page. I tried it with different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) on Mac and PC. Unfortunately, without success. What did I miss where could be the problem?

I already tested my theme with WP 3.9 and it works fine. Some plugin might be conflicting with it. Please disable all the plugins and see if Theme Options work. If it works then enable all plugins one by one to see which one is conflicting with the options panel.

i don’t have any Plugins installed. The Installation is clean, just install Wordpress and this Theme, nothing else. Thats my problem. I try Wordpress 3.9 original and Wordpress 3.9 German. I use PHP 5.5.11, this should be no problem.

It’s a strange thing to know. I just updated my demo sites and theme works well on demo sites as well. Could you try it on another WP installation that is using WP 3.9?
I just tried it with another blog on a completely different server with the same host. Again, there are no options to me. I’m going to test it with another host, maybe the problem is with the settings of the host.
Ok. I have now tried it on the server of another host. Theme options are not displayed to WordPress 3.9 and WordPress 3.9 DE. I tried it now with WordPress 3.8.3 DE from April 14, 2014. Here works everything without problems! I’m going to use version 3.8.3 for now. But for safety reasons version 3.9 would be desirable. I don’t know, why it is working in your demo site and not on a fresh installed current version of WordPress.

OK, but I encountered a new problem. If you check www.lookjohn.com/blog on a Galaxy SIII or a smartphone of similar size, the slider doesn’t show the content title, just the image. Whereas on my Nexus 7 tablet, the slider looks fine. How can it be optimize for the SIII? Thanks.
It will not show title on small screens because of less space. Image will be hidden under title if title is shown.
