Pages have started to disappear from our site! http://www.thedenverhomewood.com is starting to lose pages. They’re still in the database, and they show up when I switch themes, but when I turn your theme back on they disappear. Please help us ASAP!

I have some little problems:
With buttons in visual composer. The link don’t works. I put the url but the button show a # link.
When I leave blank the email in theme options, always return a defalut email.

About first issue, it’s a known bug in current version and I’ll fix it in next version. For now, please set your button to have an icon and link will work (I just don’t work if you have a button in text only mode). Or if you don’t want to use icons on your button, please open a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com and I’ll send you the quick fix.
About the second issue, please enter “none” in that field instead of leaving it empty. Then please let me know if it worked or if you have any other questions or suggestions.

Hello, very nice theme. I rate it 5 stars. One problem – the dropdown is a “flyout” – can it be changed to a dropdown UNDER the menu-entry? So if I click on the menu-link the sub-menu is not popping up left but it showing the sub-menu links below the parent-menu-link I hopy you understand, what I mean. I see, this needs to be changed in menu.php and/or in the javascript… Please help! Thanks.

Hi Iman, thanks this worked well! Just a little change was nessasary in the code: .zoom instead of a.zoom en .page instead of a.page. However the remaining document-icon is not aligned in the center now; it stays on the same spot as before. (but I will open a ticket about this and some other question I have)

Thank you for purchasing Vertikal! This is possible if you are using Vertikal v1.3 or newer.
Please edit your page and edit the tab element (The main container not single tab elements inside it) in Visual Composer and set “Navigation Position” to “Top”.

Hey, I’m having issues registering on Tisky. I also used Tisky before and I know that was a common error with my clients.

About background image, please take a look at the demo site and if it’s looking fine on your side, please go to “Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS” and add this code there:

This should fix it for now. I’ll make a permanent fix in next version. Thank you for reporting this issue.
About icons, I’ve checked demo site in IE11 and it’s working fine here. Can you see the icons on demo site? If so, please give me your site URL and let me check what’s the problem there.

I am trying to upload media files (images) to the portfolio section and i can see them in the individual “Project #1” or “Project#X” pages. But, these images are not reflecting in the portfolio image slider on the home page (unlike what was shown in the theme demo).

Then on line 2049 find this code:

and replace it with your desired string.

Hello. I have a few issues.
1. Main menu: I have a three level nav menu on my site. 3-rd level has many items and several bottom items are not visible because is not enough of page height. I try to scroll the menu using mouse wheel when 3-rd level is opened but only page scrolls. How to solve it?
2. Blog Index page: I have two post category: News and Feedbacks. I want to display 3 columns Blog Index page. I found the solution suggested by you on the Comments page: “Do you mean you want to have 3 columns blog list without sidebars? If so, please add a page then in “Sidebar Position” choose “Full Width (No sidebars)”. Then enable Visual Composer by clicking on its blue button above WordPress editor and choose “Blog” element and select “3 columns”. This way you’ll have 3 columns blog posts without a sidebar on your page.” Then I selected the “News” category in the “Blog” element options but got a problem: both categories are displayed on the site’s page. Is any way to display only posts of needed category?
3. Footer: 1-st widget area displays the “Feedbacks” category using the “Posts slider” element. I want to set sliders to switch every15 seconds but it doesn’t work. Slides change every 3 seconds and time doesn’t depend from this option. 2-nd widget area uses for displaying latest blog posts with the “Blog list” element of Visual Composer. But “Choose Categories” option also doesn’t work. Posts from both categories display.

1. If you have many menu items, Please go to “Appearance > Theme Options > Header Options > Header: Menu” and turn off “Sticky Menu”.
2. This was a bug in Vertikal v1.2 and I’ve fixed it in v1.3 which was released last month. If you are using an old version of Vertikal, please upgrade to the latest version by following the following instructions in the documentations:

3.1. For this issue please open a ticket too. I’ll guide you through customizing bootstrap file to change the speed of the carousel.

Hi, is it possible to name my portfolio anything but ‘portfolio’?

To change the slug of the Portfolio, please find and edit this file:
/wp-content/plugins/js_vertikal_addons/post-types/post-types.php
Then on line around 38 find this code:
'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'portfolio' ),
and replace it with this one:
'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => '/' ),
Finally go to “Settings > Permalinks” and change your permalink settings and save it and then revert it back to your preferred setting and save it once again. This will make empty your permalink cache settings (Will fix 404 error message).

Visual Composer is updating almost everyday these days I’ve included v4.0.5 in Vertikal v1.4 which was released last week but it seems that a new version of Visual Composer is out now. I’m not releasing a new update on ThemeForest because it’s not very easy for all clients to update their theme everyday so I’ll wait for some good improvements and will release it once it’s good enough for a new version

hi there, please help with the theme. Im trying to create multiple team members in a tab menu, so one tab menu, then users then another tab menu and different group of users. the first tab shows right, the second tab cuts through the user and the 3rd tab overlaps all the users. i have pvt mailed you with the site link etc. thanks very much

Do you mean you want to use an iconned tab inside another one? If you want to do so, it’s not possible and you should only put one level of elements inside a tab and third level will not work properly.

hi there, no i want one iconned tab set. so there will be 6 tabs then within each tab i wanted a different department of people so for example tab one, parts dept, tab 2 pc department etc. tab 1 shows fine, tab 2 doesnt show nicely and overlaps and tab 3 same thing the photographs of the people overlap

A few clarifications on the vertikal theme: - is it possible to customize the theme, such that users can add/edit blog posts within the website? - does the theme have options to post something like a classified ad listing on the home page? - is it possible to integrate a discussion forum (like buddypress) with this theme?

You may use buddypress plugin without any problems by the way, as we did not added Vertikal styles for buddypress, it won’t get the style of Vertikal.
