how to avoid theme left menu refresh itself when you double click a menu item? it makes navigating between links totally unavailable and all the menu tree becomes useless.
if you have many items like me in your menu, your visitor will totally get lost where he is. because it closes the sub menu items and refreshes the whole web page when you double click a left menu item.
it refreshes even if you navigate a little bit fast it imagines you are double clicking..

I already told you that can try and edit the main.js file for this. Most of the websites don’t do that and I agree that we should not block loading if someone decides to click the menu again. Open some popular themes here and you will see that if you click on a menu button that opens the same page as you are, the whole page will reload.
Let me just add that you can create parent menu buttons that don’t link to any page. All you need to do is create a custom link and make the URL value ”#”.

actually the problem is not only reloading. it also closes the menu tree when it refreshes.. so the navigation stops and the user gets lost. probably he will close the website. and exit for alternatives.
also those top rated templates are not using left side stable menus. they are using active menus which are disappearing when you remove your mouse on it. so its normal that kind of menus to refresh itself because sometimes the menu gots stuck and menu doesnt fades away even if you remove your mouse curses above.
for menus placed left and stays stable are good for crowded menu web pages. for example i have 300 pages on my website. imagine a visitor navigatin between the pages he is reading page 167 and accidentally he doubleclicks the menu item when navigating. and boom he is all lost.
that makes template unuseful for websites like mine with many menu items.
actually i dont also know where to edit in main.js.

Hi Pirenko, How can I stop the animation of the portfolio items in the grid, but maintain the automatic animation on the single portfolio item? I’m loading the portfolio posts on the same page.
And second question: how can I make the text excerpt visible in the overlay of the portfolio item. I’m using the grid portfolio. There is lots of empty space in the overlay to display some text, but I cannot find how to do that.

What do you mean with “stop animation”? What are you referring to exactly?
About the other question: you need to edit the template_portfolio_var-grid.php for that (maybe also the main.js file).

There appears to be a shadow on all header titles. Is there an easy way to remove that? I see the settings for changing that for borders and lines, but not for the headers.

Hmm – yeah, that’s what I tried earlier and the shadow still shows on the menu font and blog title font. Is there another code I need to add as well?

Two questions:
1. I can’t get the Mailchimp subscribe button to get the theme style. I have removed all Mailchimps own style but the grey small button still showing up. Anything else to try?
2. I’m using a page with sections to display one team member on the bottom of the page but the image is outside the grid. The team member is aligned more to the left then the rest of the content. It doesn’t matter if I choose one or more members per column. How to fix this?

You are still using version 2.3 of the theme and the current version is 3.1. If you look at the theme changelog you will see that I have improved the Woocommerce grid recently. So, update the theme and you should be all right with this.

For the tabs thing: you have a plugin that causing this style conflict. Turn them off one by one to remove those styles.

So, once again, turn off all the plugins you may have and try again. And about the images resizing: if you use the theme slider the images will always fill the horizontal width available.

The plugin that is running conflict is the WooCommerce Checkout Manager. Woocommerce sent me back to you with the message: Unfortunately you would need to contact your theme author about this as they should make their theme compatible.

Sorry, but I can’t make the theme compliant with all plugins (you can see that also on the theme support tab). All I can add is that if you don’t load those styles the theme elements will work as expected. Maybe that plugin has the option to don’t load styles? Or maybe you can try and clear that .css file content?

This latest theme update is given issues to which I can no longer Filter my WooCommerce products by category in the backend. It simply does not work. I need to do this as I have roughly 148 products and it get’s difficult to find the one I need to modify.
I’ve troubleshooted this by deactivating the theme and testing: works fine, then reactivating Samba: does not work.
Please disregard, upgrading WooCommerce has resolved the issue.
