I’m using the plugin ‘Page scroll to ID’ which you’ve recommended to others before. I’m just trying to get it to work from one of your shortcode buttons.
Normal text links work fine..<a href="#contact" rel="m_PageScroll2id">Get in touch</a>
But where do you add the rel=”m_PageScroll2id to the button shortcode..

The solution is to actually change the selector that the plugin uses – in the plugin settings there’s an input that says “selectors”; Add this inside of it:

Hi guys! I love the theme! I think this is the best I ever worked with so far!.
My question is: Is it possible to achieve a hover over effect that we can setup on the gallery images like the zooming and title overlay to be used on the recent post pictures when I list the posts in the page builder? Thanks

I am having problems using this theme on Safari in the backend. With the theme enabled theme options and other buttons such as “screen options” are not click-able. Also when creating a page the visual composer button is missing, I assume this is some kind of CSS related issue. I have tried reinstalling the theme plus disabling plugins etc.
This issue arises when working from my college network using Safari, meaning its difficult to test without being in college. The theme also works perfectly on my home network using Firefox & Chrome.

Sorry for the late reply, I have found out that this is occurring on any browser besides those on my own personal network/internet.
I have only been able to test on a Macbook and IMac so both use Safari. Perhaps it’s an issue with the database?

I am unable to login to your support website, the buttons do not work when I click “login to facebook” or “register” with a standard email. It’s strange because its like the issue I experience using Safari on other computers. I have tried on using Firefox, Chrome and Opera web browser and cannot login.
Also strange as there’s no known issue with the buttons on ticksy – can you contact me at themenectar@gmail.com in that case though?

Have been trying to over-ride via css the styling of the top ‘open’ bar of the shortcode ‘toggle accordion’ but it seems to be controlled via some inline styles? where can I change this?

Hello, I’m having some strange behaviour / conflict with the Woocommerce plugin. I built my site + tested locally using MAMP. Everything looked great, the store items were all fine.
After transferring the site to my live server and activating the WC plugin (2.1.8) the home slider is broken. It constantly spins, and many other elements designed in visual composer are absent as well (item headers/line breaks etc). I’ve checked my php versions, all of the system setup in WooCommerce and tried all versions of 2.1.x upto 2.1.9, released today. Everything now matches my local build settings (that I know of).
Still no avail. I can’t help but think it’s php/server settings, or perhaps a jquery conflict… When the plugin is disabled the site elements return to normal. I tried as far back as WC 2.0.x and that worked fine.
Any thoughts / suggestions? It’s very urgent as I’m two days behind my site launch as result..

It doesn’t seem your images are in a column that would give them to alignment you want. However, you can alway just use the visual composer view and make use of text with icon element – it actually does exactly what you want and is a lot easier to maintain than the old method you’re using.

Hey Milo, since the addition of the “Flexible height” option for the Nectar Slider, you’re really free to upload at size image you need. Just make sure you’re supplying an image over 1600px wide if you’re using a full width slider to ensure proper quality on a desktop.
Question before purchase: what version of PHP do the theme needs? My server provider works only with 5.2

Hi, I’ve got this request to work 4 months ago, but I think now that I’ve updated the theme, I’m now seeing that when I hover over my portfolio it stays green without clicking one of the thumbnails. Hi Nectar. Suggestion (and question): Your theme has many qualities as one-page website (besides that it is not, ofcourse). But on one-page websites you often have a tag on the page, like #section_5 in the URL.
I wanted to make a page for “Terms and Conditions”. And instead of having like tonnes of small pages (for navigation) I would have liked to be able to link to a certain place on the page. Like www.mywebsite.com/terms/#delivery
That would be a really sweet feature. This can probably already be done through nerdy code, but would be cool if possible to integrate as short-codes.
Hey Peter! If you just use standard anchor links as you’ve stated, the one page design will work. Just make custom menu links that lead to your anchors such as ”#section_5”. And then you can use this plugin to get that animated scrolling http://wordpress.org/plugins/page-scroll-to-id/

Also, how to show the number of comments instead of the heart icon (“Love this” icon).
Where do you suggest me to go (which php?) to change those blog pages?

The first mod would take place in the index.php – before this line:if(have_posts()) : while(have_posts()) : the_post();
you’d have to modify the query to sort by comments.
The second mod would take place inside of the files in includes/post-templates. In them you’d have to replace the php getting the date in the .date div with the comment count
