the theme allows you to choose from two different layouts directly form the option panel. Any customization of the kind you describe will need to be developed by your part.
Also, we only provide support for verified users. So please, in case you have any doubt, write using the account you used when you purchased the theme in order we can check this.

I have 4 pages in my website. And i would like to make all of them appearing in the home page in sequence. Like you have in the theme presentation.
I just fond the option that I can choose one of the pages to be home page. But I want all of them to be home page.

I´m not sure if I understand correctly your query.
Any website can display only a page as homepage, you set the page you want to use as home page within WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading > ‘Main Page’. Here you must to choose the page you would like to use as home.
If you refer to display all your pages within the main menu, you must to set up your menu via WP Dashboard > Appearance > Menus. Here you can choose the options you would like to display within your menu.

Sorry, I was not clear.
For example, when you open a website, it opens its home page. But, as you can see in several websites, in that home page you have a compilation of several pages from the website. Like one page website, where you just scroll it and watch portfolio, services, team, contacts, map… and so one, without a click.

Flamingo doesn’t support ‘one page’ features natively, but you can do easily playing with custom links and anchors.
You need to create a custom link to the menu that points to the element ID in the page. You can create a custom link this way: http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen#Custom_Links
For example, you can create a link with the URL set to #team So, with this, you’ll need to have an element in the homepage with the ID ‘team’. For this, we recommend you to add, with the RAW HTML widget you will find within the page builder options, an anchor like this:
<a id="about"> </a>
Then, when you will click an option within your main menu, your site will jump to that specific area, where you added the anchor.

Hi, thank you for this amazing theme! I am having a lot of fun with it! Just a couple of questions about some issues I’ve found:
1- I allowed svg use by wordpress, updating my functions.php file. Svg are now working perfectly in theme header, but I did not manage to insert them in my pages: when I upload an svg image with the Visual composer, it does not appear in the front end. How could I do?
2- Is there a way to insert image for Retina devices (i.e. x2images or something like this?)
3- I have changed my Angles Background Image in Flamingo General Options, but… the background image in the blog always remains the same (the default image of the theme). How can I fix this?
4- I correctly embedded my Vimeo fullscreen Videos in some pages, but I registered some problems: the page upload is really really slow, and the videos lost their original resolution, although I set the correct size. How can I fix this? Is there a way to upload a self-hosted video?
5- I did not manage to insert an html code in the footer: I would like to insert some credits link here. How could I do this?

about your first question, I suggest you to open a support ticket. We will review this scenario with you.
2. Make sure here you have enabled the retina plugin and you have upload a correct logo size, please, notice the caption under the logo option within the option panel:
"Upload a logo or specify the image URL of your logo. This logo will be shown in the portfolio header. If retina is enabled, you have to upload the logo image at double size. Note you should click on 'Insert to post' button in order to insert the image correctly.!
3. Please, take a look to this part of the documentation to understand better how this background feature works.
4. Flamingo does not have a self-hosted option available for videos. In case of your vimeo issue, I suggest you to open a support ticket as well and we will take a look closer to this case.
5. Footer.php is the file related to the footer part. In any case, we will be happy to help with any point here from our support place.

2- Will I be able to setup a local server in my computer? I would need mysql, apache, php and anything more?

yes, in order to start working with any Wordpress theme in local, you must to install apache and a data base, but here you have some easier solutions like WAMP (if you use a windows machine) or XAMP (if you use Mac). These are packages that will install everything you need with a single click.
A Small Orange is a great hosting provider, your site won´t need too much resources, so a single plan will work well for you.
You can made a lot of modifications via the option panel, here you can take a look to the documentation in order to have a closer view about all the options you have available.
Other more advanced details can be managed via custom CSS. Just deep/hard modifications will need more code knowledges by your part.
In any case, for any doubt or question you could have in advance, I suggest you to use our support system. We will be happy to help

I am having some problems in personalizing the theme. I think the problem became in the plugins installation. When in dashboard, i have the info about the plugins that I need to better configure the theme. But, the problem is, some of them, doesn’t exist anymore.

all the plugins that the theme asks to install are needed to enable all the available options. Just click on “Begin installing the plugins” button in order to install them and you will have a complete/operative theme to start working with it.

yes, you can create an area where adding your last blog posts with a easy widget using the page builder.
In case of the clients review, you could do this with an accordion or similar, but not a slider that it is only available for images or posts.

yes, you can add different portfolios with different contents. The only limitation in this sense is using the “back to portfolio” button, due to the WP logics building this kind of pages.

this problem was detected and fixed the same day, you should not have problems with this. As you say, the page builder styles changed and for this reason some elements were broken. So please, open a private support ticket and provide there a FTP user and a WP admin user/pass to your site, we will manage this in order to update your site correctly.

yes, you could make that part of the content transparent with a couple of custom CSS rules, it would be very easy,
In case of the self-hosted videos query, I must to say that this option is not available due to the less use of this kind of videos. The most users prefer and want Youtube/Vimeo integrations instead.

You know when you click on a link and it fades white from one page to another. Im using the dark version and I want to make it fade to Black and fade in to Black.
I change the background colour to black but when you go into the page it still has white bg fade in, is there a way i can change the css please.

the APIs used to manage the embed videos are the ones that restrict the content insertion using secured headings. What kind of videos are you using? (Youtube/Vimeo?)
I’m using vimeo – just the video id straight into the flamingo field

as you can see within the theme´s description, Flamingo does not has complete support for IE8, in this sense, we won´t make any modification to fit this old browser because it would need to remove options or features affecting to all browsers.
Microsoft has removed the official support for XP and here in Themeforest it is not mandatory to support IE8 either.
About IE11 issues, what do you mean with “it also doesn´t show anything”? Which Windows version are you running? Let us know something more about this and we will review this closer.

Im having a few problems with speed. When I download W3 total cache the website was working a lot more efficiently. Then I started having some hicups where it would be taking a long while for the domain to start loading. Also on one page it keeps trying to load up an image that I’ve long since deleted “amyback4.jpg” http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/h2Bvs/http://www.langfx.com/portfolio/drugs
I cleared the cache on w3 total cache and it still was having the problem on some pages and it still tries to load that deleted file. I was wondering if you’ve updated the theme to be a little faster because I downloaded the theme a while ago. I also turned off super cache aswell. Im not sure what to do, I just need the site to load fast.

your images are not enough heavies to give problems in this sense. The W3 Total Cache always helps to improve loading times. Just in case you are using a shared hosting and taking a look to the timings in your case, I just can say that your hosting/server response time is quite bad. This is most a server issue than a theme one. But in any case, in my end, your site loaded pretty fast.
I started to work some time ago with “A Small Orange” hosting and I´m really happy with the service they provide. Maybe you could take a look to it, just as recommendation

these are warnings from theme check that are normal for this plugin to manage the Twitter feed. It is approved by Envato and you should not be concerned about it.
In case you are not using any Twitter feed, I recommend you to don´t install any related plugin or remove anyone you could have install it.

Hey, sorry for bothering. I’ve run into a smaller issue with the z-index of
<section class="header-display section-title"></section>
When you scroll down, you set the opacity to 0 and the z-index to -something. Unfortunately (I’m using latest Chrome on OS X), the z-index does not always apply, making it impossible to click anything (the header-display is not visible but still there). I think a fix would be to apply display:none (instead of z-index), but that is just a suggestion

maybe you have receive the mail after the 14:00h, we have the same timing here in Spain and here is when the TF time changes the day, (Australian time zone). It is for this reason maybe could be a little confusing, because yesterday we updated the theme twice due to a little error we had not detected in Firefox.
Current Flamingo version is ‘Flamingo v1.37’.
Apologizes about any drawback or any confusing issue related to it. We tried to fix any problem within the minor time possible related to the last WP3.9 changes and other modifications.
