Sorry, we also have gd enabled on server:
https://hostingcluster1desgest.net/test/business04/version.phpCan you check if you are able to see images with the default theme – twenty thirteen/twenty fourteen just to check if everything is setup right on the server. Pls send me a temp login if the problem still exists to livemesh.themes@gmail.com. Thanks
Hi LiveMesh,
We just send you access to our dev site. Please check your email.
Thanks,
Mariano
I changed the thumbnail generation from Aqua to WordPress and things seem to be working fine now. Pls check. Thanks
Hi LiveMesh,
I checked the site and now all is working fine. Thanks again for your support. Great Job!
Mariano
You are welcome
Quick pre-sale Q: If I was going to purchase this theme I would want to change the iphone slider that is on home 2 to either a tablet or desktop and still have the slider inside? Would this be a difficult change? Cheers in advance
Thanks for your interest. Yes, it is possible with some adjustments to CSS involved. Not too difficult if you are comfortable basics of CSS. I do not see any JS changes involved here.
How can I go about adding/showing some screenshots to explain what happening on my end? I’m having a number of issues…and No…I don’t consider myself a rookie with Wordpress.
Thanks.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Pls make use of support forum – http://portfoliotheme.org/support for issues. You email us the screenshots to livemesh.themes@gmail.com with details and we will be happy to address the same. Thanks
hello … this second page below belongs to me? I can have two different two pages or two difentes product? are two in a blog just is that?
http://mobileclic.com/?page_id=4089Not clear on what you are asking. If you asking if you can have two different pages for two different products- yes, you can do the same. No issues. Just like we have home 1 and home 2 in our sample data, you can have two different pages for two products. Hope this is what you were asking.
Also. Why is your child theme “peppered” with reference to your PortfolioTheme url?????
Almost every reference is around this: *http://portfoliotheme.org/appdev/wp-content/....*
Why would my purchased product be making reference to your URLs!!?
We have no intention to pepper the theme with reference to our URLs. It’s just a technical requirement that we have to live with since we have no way of knowing the end user URL and the link needs to be provided this way in the Appearances->Menu screen. Wherever links exist to our servers, it is just to illustrate how theme works. Other references are expected to change once you upload the required content to your servers.
Honestly, we don’t expect you to keep the URL post purchase and request you to change it before production so that our servers do not get loaded. Hope this makes sense.
Most of the links are pointing to fonts. Which makes my thing that messing with those urls will/may break the theme presentation, from a font perspective anyway. I’m actually surprised you’re not aware of this.
I am very much aware of this. We had to leave the links there again, just as an example of how to use custom fonts. We took this decision after we had a number of support requests asking how they can make their fonts same as ours (when we did not have these styles). BTW, Firefox will not load external fonts (fonts on our servers) and hence users will be forced to upload the fonts to their server.
Is it really such a big deal to remove these styles, if you do not want to use custom font Museo?
Not a big deal actually. But I would prefer not to rely on another host servers to serve my fonts or images, just to be on the safe side.
Oddly enough I have never installed fonts onto a server. Any quick guide on how to load the Museo font to my server? I also like the look of that font.
Pls have a look here -
http://portfoliotheme.org/support/faqs/install-custom-fonts/Thanks!
Hello,
I purchased the Theme and trying to install it “custom”. Meaning, I remained the “appdev” WP installation file to something that relates to my business (example: touchpoints.zip), because I want that to appear in my WP url path, and not appdev. The installation went fine, until I tried doing the same with the “touchpoint-child.zip” at this point I got the following message:
*Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… This theme requires a parent theme. Checking if it is installed… The parent theme could not be found. You will need to install the parent theme, appdev, before you can use this child theme.*
Please help.
Thanks.
Thanks for your purchase. You will need to change the parent theme name in the style.css file of the child, assuming you have changed the name in style.css file of the parent theme. I discourage changing things at present until you become more familiar with WordPress.
I did make the change in the style.css, but I still get the error. I don’t consider myself a Wordpress guru, but I have been using Wordpress for a few years now and have been a member of Themeforest for even longer. I have never had any issues renaming and uploading a theme, ever, and I have several live WP sites to prove this.
It’s okay to admit that your setup protocol maybe be flawed by not allowing this flexibility and assuming one needs to be a Wordpress specialist to begin with. Simplicity and flexibility was what made Wordpress popular.
Still, the child theme does not seem to responding to installation and still asking for “appdev” even after the CSS change. Additionally, you have no reference of this in your documentation (A-T).
I am not aware of a way a child theme can look for a parent theme if you did make the required CSS change in the child theme style.css file. Can take a look at this if you send me a temp login to livemesh.themes@gmail.com.
I will email you..as it now seems almost everything has failed with the demo content import.
Please check your email.
Thanks.
Our support person tried to install but hit a 403 error on the server. Pls check and get back to us when ready. Thanks
BTW, looks like you hit only an error on WooCommerce custom post types not found since the plugin was not activated when importing. You can pretty much ignore the error if you do not need WooCommerce function. Can always import WooCommerce data later if required. Thanks
Not sure where the 403 is coming from. I’m able to log-in everytime with the info I sent you. I also tried from different machines and all works fine. Please try again. Thanks.
Our developer was able to access the machine and complete this sometime back. Looks like the server is blocked to certain countries and hence the support person had issues. You server should be setup now. Pls check and get back to us if you have any queries. If you need to setup revolution slider, you may setup the revolution slider as per the instruction in the video linked here -
http://portfoliotheme.org/support/faqs/appdev-theme-how-to-setup-theme-and-revolution-slider-youtube-video/Thanks you! Greatly appreciated!
Assumption….I’m assuming that the Child Theme is not recommended? Or is it just a matter of activating it?...just asking before I do any editing. Thanks.
Child theme is recommended for customizing. Just activate it and you should have no issues. Thanks
OMG!!! – Why is so difficult to add the revolution slider? So far I’ve spent over an hour just trying to figure out what to do. I have installed and activated the plugin….it’s there a way to load what you had from your demo, so I can edit and modify? I would really like to have the active slider for the App and Play store. Any help here!???? Thanks.
And Yes…I’m trying to go through the ThemePunch documentation, which way too extensive for a slider. I need some help on this one please when you get a chance. Thanks you.
We can get the revolution slider instances loaded up for you, if you need. Importing the rev slider data should be straightforward enough since we provide the import files for our sliders in the folder “revolution-slider-setup-instructions” and the import file name is “revolution-slider-import-data.txt”, Hope you are able to find the same. Once you import the slider, customizing it should be much easier. Pls let us know if you still have trouble. Thanks
OK. I managed to import the revolution slider and *data.txt Next thing I need to tackle is the Menu. For some reason even when I edit the URL under the “Appearance>Menu>Menu Structure, it still goes to portfoliotheme.org…#features (for example). Is there somewhere else I need to go to modify the menu? Also unable to edit the “Home” button URL. This theme has everything I need. I will just remove the “Pages” link and I’m good to go after I have the rest figured out.
Thanks.
You just have to hit save once you modify the URL. Also, try to check if you have the chosen the right menu under Page Edit window. In the Page Edit screen, there is a dropdown named “Choose Custom Primary Navigation Menu” to choose a custom menu for the page (useful for having multiple one page style pages with internal navigation). If you have a menu chosen there, you may be editing the wrong menu in the Appearances->Menu screen and hence the changes are not taking effect.
I am not sure which Home button URL – a screenshot will help. Thanks
Hi, I want to buy this theme but am not a programmer to modify the homepage as I want, is there is any page builder? if not how me as a normal user can change and build the homepage? Thanks
Thanks for your interest. Sorry- this theme does not come with a page builder. You can use 50+ shortcodes to build the site. The documentation of the theme has explanation for most shortcodes along with their parameters and the theme also has a shortcode builder.
Although things are much easier now with custom post types and shortcodes, I still recommend a basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to use this theme.
I want to use Museo font but its not working, theme showing default font. I have installed child theme also but don’t know whats the problem.
Can you fix this issue directly on my site.
Let me know are you able to do it, I’ll send you wp login/pass and ftp also.
Thanks, Jiten
Sure can help. Pls email me the details to livemesh.themes@gmail.com.
Hello thanks for your help related to fonts. I need one more support – How may I choose logo with two different sizes, one for main header and small for stick menu?
Better would be to resize the logo via Custom CSS instead of setting two logos. You can do the same this way (pls vary the width as per your needs) -
#header.sticky #site-logo { width: 50%; height: auto; }
Thank for logo. One more thing font problem you had solved it again showing the old fonts. Can you plz review again? I have sent you a mail !

friend … thank you note is 1000% .....’ll point you to many people I know .. thanks for help ..
Glad that helped. Wish you the best with your site.
Can I choose my own color or are the skins color only one available??
Regards
Thanks for your interest. The available colors are default, orange, teal and cyan. You can view the 4 skins in switcher panel on the left of each page on the demo site. There is no option to choose a custom color and you will need to modify one of 4 skin CSS files created for the 4 available skins to achieve the same.
Thx for the answer
I want to purchase it and I’ll need to customize with some minor or major changes in coding. I know how to change but I think when I’ll update template than my previous code will restore.
Tell me what should I do.
Thanks for your interest. I am sorry – I could not get the situation fully. Can you pls clarify? Are you trying to ask if there is a way to retain code across updates? If so, you will need to use either a child theme or restrict your changes to custom.css and custom-functions.php part of theme, so that the changes can stay across updates. Child theme is the safest. The theme comes with a sample child theme bundled BTW.
Hi i have a question,
I would use the header on your blog as example. How should I do? I can not find how to use it.
Thank you for your help
You can set a common background across all pages by navigating to the Backgrounds tab in theme options and setting the required background in a section named “Background for Header Area”.
For each individual page/post, on the WP edit page, you should find two sections “Custom Header Options” and “Header Options” which provide the option to set background image, custom HTML, description for the page. If you scroll down the visual editor in the page edit or post edit window, you should see these options. Hope this helps.
hello friend .. get me another question. this topic has access to the control panel of wordpress? thanks
valter
Yes, of course. Thanks for your interest.
I’m having problem with the theme loading on the one page setting. I have the same theme on a sub site and its works. For example, foreclosure.nrtadvisory.com, when click the single site button its slide down.
However, this http://www.nrtforeclosure.com, the page reload when clicking the button.
You just need a www prefix on the URLs in the menu (your home page URL has www prefix. That would fix the issue. Thanks
hi,
How can I pass the SEO ranking from old pages from old site to new pages from new site, because in your theme I can´t see the extensions html (pages) appearing on the navigation of chrome. Ie: mydomain.com.br/<where is the pages.html?> ?
If I saw the extensions html (pages) appearing on the navigation of chrome I just will use the same name of the pages to new pages on your theme.
Ie: If the old site has for service this page: mydomain.com.br/service.html. Then to new site I´ll replicate the same URL mydomain.com.br/service.html to do not lose the SEO.
PS: I´ll maintain the same domain from the old site to new one.
This is more of a wordpress configuration than theme one. WordPress URLs do not have a .html extension (unless you use some form of plugin) and you do not need them for SEO. You can redirect 301 directly from .html existing page to the WordPress URL without being concerned about ranking loss due to different nature of URLs. As long as content /subject of the two pages remains similar, I see no issues.
Hi,
Just purchased and going through the files. Didn’t see anything about setting up/installing the Child Theme. (appdev-child.zip) I’m assuming there will be an update soon…from some of the comments I’ve read.
Thanks.
Thanks for your purchase! There are specific instructions on the child theme other than what is generally available on the web on how to use child theme. You can use the same just like any other child theme since this is just a sample template for you start customizing the theme.
Where is this specific information located. I didn’t see any documentation from you side within my purchased downloads. Your table of contents (A-T) has nothing regarding child themes.
Sorry I meant there are NO specific instructions on the child theme other than what is generally available on the web on how to use child theme.
Hello,
I have just to purchased this template 2 days ago but I cant find the 5 language (spanish, german…) plugins that are included.
Could you help me?
Thanks
Thanks for your purchase. The language files are located in the {theme folder}/languages folder. Pls note that the theme is not translated but has the required template files to get started on it. Pls use POEdit editor to edit these files and ensure you do an update on the translation file before getting started.
I have checked the files too, but it’s not multilinguage plugin, these are just the language files in where we can put the content and default to a language for the frontend. But still I can’t see that we have a plugin there and we can integrate that and manage Multilanguage over the site. Do you provide the total multilanguage plugin? Thanks
Sorry, I am afraid we do not provide any language plugins. We just provide the language files that you can edit. You will need to purchase/load the plugin separately, if you need one. Thanks
hello friend. I wonder if this template can have the same square transparent to the topic below.
I wish I can leave more transparent or change the red color of the square where is written’’ wordpress theme to present your fabulous apps’‘
I can do that with this theme?
I want to make clear this equals below . thanks
http://portfoliotheme.org/themes/?theme=AgileThanks for your interest. Yes it is possible to change background color. Just need a one line CSS to do the same.
Hi,
We have a custom requirement for our project that the “Home” Navigation item is to be removed from the top navigation/ Main menu. We are not able to do that when we add new page sections to the page. Is it possible without setting primary menu?
Kindly help us how to do this..
Not unless you edit the source file. I would recommend that you set the primary menu instead of editing the source file. Created a WordPress menu via Appearance->Menus screen and setting the primary menu is always more flexible and effort is minimal. Hope this makes sense.
