If you have already setup your homepage, please enable the slider and then mark posts for the slider.

If it’s a new site, you can also import sample content data (as explained in installation section of documentation) and start with that.

Since you said you already have the latest version, please try deleting the page builder. Once you have deleted it, re-install it from Appearance > Install Plugins.

There are 3 types of default category archive layouts you can see in the demo (under features menu). If you are referring to the default modern archive to show 3 posts instead of 2, while not being a default feature, there’s a customization available for it at the support forums.

1. If you’re talking about having a blog feed for others to use, WordPress’s default RSS feeds should work. If you’re talking about adding an external feed to sidebar, the default WordPress widget for RSS should work too.

1. This can be done but it requires using a tag that our support can guide you through.

2. Sorry that’s not a feature. One post gets one slide and displays the featured picture of it.

2b. Yes, we can help you with that.

3. The whole featured area (slider + 3 posts at right) can show either the latest posts or posts marked as featured. The 3 posts on right can also be latest posts from a specific category or tag.

4, 5, 6. Yes, there are multiple simple solutions available for it at the forums.

Like the slider, you have to mark posts as “Featured Post?”. The latest one of the ones marked, is used in featured post.

on your demo you placed a few under one category.. how can i make that into a mini slider that rotates between the sub menu categories featured?

Great to know you’re interested in the theme.

We have briefly tested the plugin on homepage and it does appear to work without issues there. There are two options for posts in featured area – either the latest posts, or by setting “Featured Slider Post?” flag while adding/editing a post.

The default featured area does include both the parts of the slider and the right part cannot be removed to make it full-width. Nevertheless, there’s a customization available at our forums that can be used to make it full-width. Or the slider can replaced by a third-party slider too.

1. Have you considered one of the mega menu under “Features” (in demo) for your requirement? Or the regular drop down menu? 13 menu items at top-level, unless they have really short names, will overflow to second line and that won’t look good. What we can do is, suggest you some CSS to add in Theme Settings that will make the spacing between menu items less and help you make them fit in the menu.

2. Yes, you can use the normal WordPress method to translate it to your language by using the .pot/.po file. It’s explained in the documentation.

I see i see… anyhow I have purchased this theme last night. I have a new question..

When posts are displayed on the homepage the content of a post is too short… basically I want to display more characters for content section of a post on the home page.

Example of your site: pelase visit theme-sphere.com/smart-mag/ then search for these words “Integer convallis”

One of the posts on the homepage is displaying first ?? number of characters of its content in the post. Basically I want to increase the number of characters show for each post on the home page. Currently im testing this theme in dev and it’s only showing first 15 characters it seems =>”???????????????…”

Customizations are not included for free but we can recommend someone affordable. For pinterest button on images, you can use their default widget javascript and paste it in Footer Code section of Theme Settings. For credits under the image, you can use WordPress’s default “Caption” feature when you upload an image and it will be added as image caption.

It shouldn’t be difficult to customize as even total beginners at WordPress have been our buyers. Your requirements do not seem very advanced (based on your current site), so it shouldn’t take you too long to setup. Most common element colors can be customized from Theme Settings.
