How can I truncate the text if using the Classy 2 Horizontal Rev Slider? I want to change these settings. Also, the slider grabs the text that is AFTER my READ MORE tag in my content. Why is that? It should ignore it I would think. Thanks.

1. You could use custom excerpt to make classy slider items’ text shorter. When editing post, please enable Excerpt panel on Screen options (top right of screen) to enter your custom excerpt (http://codex.wordpress.org/Excerpt#How_to_add_excerpts_to_posts )
2, It is because you have set “Front page displays” to be “Your latest posts”. If you want to change to choose a static page (select below) and set a fixed page to be homepage, there will no “read more”. When you create a page, if you choose type of display in “pages” like our attachments, it will have a priority to show.

I had first applied manually Shortcode plugin with FTP in plugin folder directly …That did not work. Error Message from FTP Client: String is too long. After this i have installed this plugin again according to your description and this works

Fantastic theme. Is it possible to have the video play button appear over the featured images on the smart content medium carousel for video post category? They appear in video site mode, but not in magazine, and it’s one of my favourite features of the site.

You need to add some custom CSS (or modify theme’s code) to to that (Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS)

Audio format posts are not displayed due t to our design concept. If you want to change it, you need to edit theme’s code

I added the code both via custom css field and into the stylesheet directly in the relevant class, and the pause icon did not appear over the posts in either scenario. I added the !important rule just to be sure but no effect.

Very nice template and I´m really interested in purchasing it. But I have couple of questions.
1. Using the metro slider. Is it be possible to play the videos within in the header or without going to a new page? Also, is it possible to add a smaller “watch now” button on it and then got to another page?
2. How adjustable is the header where the logo is and the main menu with the drop downs?

1. The “Metro Slider” is a image slider, so you cannot play the videos within the header. In order to solve this, you can use ” Classy Slider 2 (horizontal)” in the “Header Style”
Please go to: Appearance-> Theme Option-> Front Page
2. Go to Appearance -> Theme Option -> Main Navigation > Main Navigation Height

Font size of titles of Smart Content Box is not changeable by Theme Options. You will need custom css to do that. Add this code in Theme Options > General > Custom CSS:
.smart-box .item-head h3, .smart-box .item-head h3 a{
font-size:16px;
}
Change the value to your need.

I too have the problem with your shortcodes plugin: ftp refuses the upload for some files. http://vidmoment.com/truemag_failure.jpg This maybe also the reason why I cannot upload from within the wp/theme customization and images etc. Also, really would like to know r why it is that the classy slider does not play the video in the player visible on the page but rather sends me to a different page, with no return to the “classy slider” ?
So, now that I loaded the demo content – I hate every bit of it – do I have to do a DB reset to get rid of all your demo content? It is of no real help to me. It will be far easier to start from scratch than trying to make sense of all the broken links. There is no easy way to create a home page like any of your demo showcase pages. Btw, I did also submit a ticket on your your support – since as of right now, I cannot use the theme at all due to the ftp issue. Does that not defeat the purpose of having the “look” of a classy slider but without the functions one expects from it. [as shown in your demo.]
and the footer is all messed up too. I did NOT get any error messages when importing demo content. But it sure looks like a far cry from any of your demo pages, even without images. The layout is all off.

Regarding the classy slider, you must configure in Theme Options > Front Page > Header Video Item > Video Player
Demo content is meant to be a guide that helps you setup your site. Of course, it is not ready to go. We will check the ticket to see the problems and will get back to you soon

I was just going through your documents and found the following option:
“Video Layout Video Player can be full width (Full Width layout) and in left column (Inboxed layout)”
Is this not what provides this option to show the video either in wide view or smaller view with additional colum?

Yes, it does change the wide view and smaller view, but it does not provide an additional column where you can add your own content.
You have to edit that layout to add content on the left & right of the player.

Dailymotion.com is supported, but not Tune.pk. However, you can still use the Embed Video code provided by Tune.pk to use in TrueMag. It still work.
(with other supported video networks, you only need to enter video url)
