Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it. On our demo sites we tried to show maximum theme functionality, and it really might affect load speed. We added a lot of animation effects on each page to show what the theme can do, but it allows managing animations for separate content parts, so you can have much fewer on your website or none at all, if you prefer.

Yes, GoodDay theme comes with demo .xml files for all the demo sites that are presented. You will be able to import sample content and theme settings for any of the demos you like. Theme Documentation also includes a detailed guide on how to replicate any of the demo sites.
