The shortcodes aren’t working on my site. I’ve downgraded wordpress from 3.9.1 and I can’t find the DesignThemes Core Shortcode Plugin. What do I need to do to activate this correctly?

Use our updated version soulmedic 1.3. In this version we have fixed this issues. And follow steps: 1) Get into your “Wp-folder -> wp-content -> plugins” and delete “designthemes-core-features” folder.
2) Then, Go to your “Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins” and install designthemes-core-features folder plugin.
If you find any difficulties, Kindly let us know.

Hi, your theme is awesome! However, we have two issues:
1. The default image is still showing in blog posts. We have followed your directions to remove default image by editing tpl-blog.php. We have also used the check box for Post Options “Disable Default Image”.
Please see here: http://vizuelle.com/clients/empoweringchange/self-care-a-laugh-a-day-and-more-2/2. The large Request Appointment form is not being sent to our email address. We have edited the form to show our email (not yours). We have also checked the spam folder. Nothing there. The small form on the home page works fine.

1) tpl-blog.php is for blog page. But the link you sent is blog single page. For blog single page you need to edit content-single.php. Please replace the attached file in the path wp-content/themes/soulmedic/framework/loops/content-single.php, so that the default images will be removed.

The Issues occurs because of “latisha” not an admin access permission. The user will full administrator access can only see the “Soulmedic” menu in the left hand side menu items. Since the login that you are using is not having full administrator access the menu is not appearing.
You have changed default wordpress role, kindly refer the screenshot below:

Or just remove the custom roles that you have added and make it like the default roles as shown in the screenshot.

You can have multiple layouts like 2 columns, 3 columns etc. For editing the color, you need to directly edit it in the css file wp-content/themes/soulmedic-2/framework/woocommerce/style.css line no 1555. ( ul.products li .product-three-column-with-sidebar .product-details, ul.products li .product-three-column-with-sidebar .product-details-hover )

I have made a minor change to the styles.css in the child theme. It is not overriding the parent style.css. Id on’t see the child theme style.css loading in the header.
I have made no changes to the code.
Does your theme properly support having wordpress in a subdirectory for security purposes? Could that be the problem? Here is the header info.

I have another problem with the portfolio, this time regarding the portfolio’s shortcode.
I have this code:[dt_sc_four_columns_portfolio showposts="-1" categories="34,30,28,35,32,27,29,31,12"]
But it doesn’t show anything (it tells “Please add few portfolio items before using this shortcode“). If I remove the categories attribute it shows up all the elements correctly.

Please update our theme with latest version compatible with wordpress 3.9. Follow the below steps to update the theme which will solve the issue:-
1) Download the theme from themeforest page.
2) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
3) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
4) Go to wp-content/plugins/ through ftp
5) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
6) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. Thats it. Now you are updated to the latest version.

I’ve purchased this theme (from another account) but I can’t add sliders to my pages. It tells me “Please activate Layered Slider” or “Please activate Revolution Slider , and add at least one slider.” even though I have activated and added sliders to both plugins.
