Hi ThemeGoods,
In Safari the fixed menu stays at the top of the viewport even when I have already scrolled back to the top of the page. It doesn’t go back to it’s default position below the header.

I think the issue comes from your code changes because I tested again on demo site and Safari and it doesn’t have the issue.
Please check your code changes or it might comes from conflict with one of your plugins. Please try to disable all plugins.

Changing my website logo means change any theme setting. There’s something broken. It’s the third time that I’ve to change manually all the theme settings. Why?

Got another question. I would like to show only selected categories when I use filterable blog layout, even when filter is set on “All”.
Here is an exemple : I have 3 categories : “A”, “B”, “C”. I select categories “A” and “B” to be displayed into the filterable blog layout. But when I’m under the “All” filter, there is also the category “C” that is displayed. I’ld like to get rid of this one, and only show the categories I have chosen.
Is this possible ?

Sorry currently “All” means all recent posts and it might confuse most users if it selected only recent posts from some categories.
But I will consider to add it into the future if there are many requests from customers.
Hi I’m having issues with my nav bar and category pages. Any menu item that goes to a category page doesn’t show posts in the that category on the page and when on category pages, drop down fail to show also.
I’m launching my site in 24hours and this issue just appeared out of nowhere (I haven’t installed any new plug in or changed anything since the last time it was working).
My site currently has a landing page so I’m not sure how I can show you what is and isn’t working.

Hi, I can not get the home page 1 as presented in the preview of the theme. There are currently no slider (though I checked “use auto slide show” in “styling” of “theme settings”) and sections appear one below the other, taking 2/3 of the page instead of being displayed as a line of three thumbnails in full width (I have not put widget in the sidebar). Could you tell me how to get the same home page 1 as in the preview you offer. Thank you.

Great theme you have here.
It would be in your and current/potential customers’ best interest to implement changes and requests with updating the theme regularly. The template has a lot of potential and can be improved rapidly with more customer satisfaction, even if a person or two request it a feature.
Please take that into mind and update the theme periodically with new features.
I’ve translated everything I wanted using poedit and the .po files, which worked great!
There’s one thing I’m missing though; where can I translate the email message sent by the contact form? The field names are still in English in the email (name, email, message).

I have built a page, using content builder and columns blog module. The thing is that when I display a number of post that is not a multiple of 3, the last posts are displayed on the footer widget area.

I quickly made an example. So :
Here is a page with columns blog module showing 3 posts. The display is fine : http://83idees.fr/wip/
And here is a page with columns blog module showing 2 posts. As you can see, the posts are displayed on the footer : http://83idees.fr/wip/?page_id=25
This issue appears when I use this module with numbers of page that is not a multiple of 3 (as 1, 2, 4, 5, 7..)

1. Because your logo width is over content width. The content width is 960px but your logo has 1200px in width. Please resize to 960px.
2. Please update to the latest version of theme. It should fix your issue.

You need an application name “PoEdit” and you can download it for FREE here http://www.poedit.net/.
Once you download and install it. Open file /languages/en_US.po with PoEdit then translate it to yours. You will need to upload all files in /languages folder to your server once you finished translate.

The widget only has a “Display Date” no thumbnail option

Ok. “Recent Post” is default Wordpress widget, you have to use “Custom Recent Post” instead

I have a few questions regarding Venus theme.
1. As I decided to not use default comments and replaced them with facebook comments (which works fine) I would like to get rid of default comments system. What I did now I just ‘removed’ them using diplay:none; in css file. The question is: can I remove them somehow?
2. Question 2 is about comments count on post headers on the home page (the red counter, left top corner of the post picture). It still shows count from old comments system. I also used display:none; in css to hide it. The same question how can I delete it OR edit?
3. I have build home page with content builder. Only classic blog + page slider. Please tell me which php file is responsible for customizing of that blog? What I mean is simply I would like add one more div and so on.. I tried with template-blog-1.php but it doesnt work. What is the difference between template-blog-1.php, template-blog-2.php, template-blog-noexcript.php and template-blog-search.php ? Which one is for Classic Blog build with Content Builder? /I’d like to know where is this div rendered: ... ?? I’d like to change content of it…

1. Go Settings > Discussion > Uncheck the option Allow people to post comments on new articles.
2. You have to edit CSS add display:none to hide it. It’s easiest way.
3. You have to edit code in /lib/contentbuilder.lib.php
Great! That is was I was looking for! I have one more question. I’m trying to add category of the post on my home page. I use classic blog (build with content builder). Is there any variable which returns the name (I need just a String value) of the category of post? Let’s say near author or date at the bottom.

On my home page I have my posts. I use content builder to create classic blog so for now it looks like this:
[thumbnail] Post 1 title Excritpt date

and so on..
what I want is to add a category near date like this:
thumbnail] Post 1 title Excritpt date category1
thumbnail] Post 1 title Excritpt date category2
so I need to add something like this to contentbuilder.lib.php: (line around 220):
$return_html.= <a>category1</a><br class="clear" />';
but instead of category1 I need a variable which returns category.. because for now for each post it shows category1, I want it to be aligned to each post… if post 1 belongs to category: travel, it should be written ‘travel’ near date..

1. When I tried to move a menu or widget up or down I can’t!! The Menu or widget doesn’t move and I get some weird empty boxes!! http://cl.ly/WONz
2 Also in the back end I can’t edit the Revolution slides!! When I hover on different buttons I get a Run script “void(0)” in the bottom left corner info Bar and Can’t make nay changes!! When I press the buttons It does nothing!!

If you didn’t edit any theme code. Updates theme files using FTP won’t delete any settings or contents.

I am having the same issue as everyone else. The author photo and description that is displayed in the demo on each post is not working correctly. I am not sure why, but this seems like a constant error. Might want to look into it, and push an update.
