When browsing the demo site via iPhone 5, there seem to be some formatting issues with the Elena concept. The header image overlay text runs over the edge of the screen, and the image is highly zoomed up. I’ve also noticed that blog comments justify to the right of the avatar image, creating a thin column of text in portrait orientation on iPhone 5. Are these known issues?

Regarding text over image, it suppose to be that way, text is visible as long as the image height. Editor should take care of that.
Regarding comments, we have passed this to developers, they will see what they can do.

Hi, really nice work! The slider for most demos seems to cut off quite a bit on iPads and mobiles (not responsive). Is it possible to change this? Does this theme use the rev slider? Thanks!

You can set slider to be in “full screen” mode so it fill in screen, even mobile screens. On most our demos, slider has fixed height (smaller than screen) and it would not look good if slider keeps same ratio.
Regarding Rev slider, unfortunately not, we provide Layer slider with this theme.

I have a couple of enquiries before making a purchase, this is my first time buying a theme so my apologises if my questions sound silly! I am looking at the ‘Alice’ demo.
I am interested in using your theme mainly for blogging and ecommerce. Is there an option to set the home page to a standard blog post and if so, does it come with older/newer posts (or 1,2,3 like in ‘medium post’ blog style) options?
Will a instagram widget be able to fit on the right panel of the blog?
Lastly, can the portfolio page be the categories page instead? Sticking to the same layout in gallery style, but upon clicking the image, user will be brought to the accompanying blog post.

Yes, there is option to set a standard blog post as home page. Not sure what you are asking about “older/newer” posts, but you can set your list in ascending or descending order (by date), those are default options of WP.
Regarding instagram widget, yes it will fit. If you get on any issue, our support team will help you to manage it.
Those portfolio pages are for portfolio blog posts. We have created new post types if someone wants to present portfolios or work items. As we understood, you want to use ordinary blog types, so you should look on blog list pages. Also, we understood that you want for example to use blog list to represent categories but unfortunately that is not possible. Blog lists are used to list posts, and when you click on one post in list, you will be transferred on single post view. You can use some widgets in sidebar to list categories instead.

I want to be sure. Since I am unable to have a gallery grid for my categories, I was wondering if the user can be led to a masonry image style when they click on a category? For a example, on the side bar of your theme now, there are a few categories. If the user were to click “art”, they are now led to a large image post, I want to know if it can be masonry instead?
And is there a option to fix the menu so that it doesn’t move? Right now when I scroll down, the menu would move up.
Lastly, can the social media icons and search bar be up on the menu together?

blog archive pages layout (category, tag, date, author etc.) can be set to display any available blog template in our theme options. So, for example, if you want to have blog masonry displayed on category page you can set it in blog section of our theme options.
Regarding menu, that is sticky header type which can be changed to a regular or fixed header as on our other theme examples. Note that all those options can be mixed, which can result in a unique combination for your site.
Yes, social media icons and search bar can be added to widget area that is displayed along side main menu, as on our Fiona example.

Yes, theme works with JetPack. Occasionally can happen problem with JetPack and memory limits of the server. I think by disabling JetPack stats, that can get solved.

is it possible? I review Your demos and nowhere photos from blog showed in this “grid mode” with photos from portfolio in the same time. I have one “portfolio” theme, and there were or post in portfolio or in blog, no way to match them in one page.

Quite stunning work. Would you consider to add side swipe using hammer.js for mobile? It would give the mobile experience on your posts a really unique yet native feel to be able to simply swipe left and right between posts. If you have that, I will most certainly purchase.

When you say to allow swiping between posts, do you mean to be able to read post (open blog single page) and from there be able to read next post by swiping it left or right, or you are talking just about replacing pagination on blog list page? This is very interesting JS library, but it will need good planning in order to add it to theme.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I did indeed mean to be able to swipe on mobile left and right between individual posts. But now that you mention it, an option to enable it for either the post or archive list would certainly be a bonus.

As we are an agency, most of our tea are already used to using Redux options panel, as well as VC. The fact that your theme has VC bundled into this is a huge bonus. What are you using for the options panel if you are using one at all?
Also, is this built on top of Underscores? If so I would like to propose to add the THA classes as we are building out a sections plugin to add static sections to any theme that uses THA, which allows users to make use of 25 hook areas for static content.

Yes, AJAX loads whole page and then replaces content part of current page with content part of loaded page.
We built our own options panel from scratch. Our framework is not based on Underscores or anything similar, everything is custom developed. While using different solutions (Redux, Underscores, etc.) saves lot of time, we think that spending more time on core development allows us to understand better what’s exactly is going on and gives us more flexibility to improve our framework. Our themes are highly customizable, thanks to our framework.
Regarding THA, we will consider it in the future, after we are done wiith new options panel development.

You should download All files & documentation from your Downloads page at ThemeForest, unzip it and locate xml export folder. Try to find LayerSlider export zip for your demo and use it to import it from LayerSlider option in the menu. Once done, check ID of the imported slider and go to your home page and edit it. You should locate Enter slider shortcode field in Select Custom Fields and make sure that ID from LayerSlider option is entered there.
