Please go to Pages > Add New/Edit Page > turn on Backend Editor (Visual Composer) > Add Element > Add Testimonial > and insert image in Avatar (If you have added Testimonial, click to Edit Testimonial Item > Avatar)

how about in the widget?
In widget, you need to type the shortcode manually. In above instruction, after adding testimonial shortcode, click on “Classic Editor” button to see the shortcode in raw text, and copy it. Paste the code in a text widget. It will work.

Hey! This is great… but i’m trying to do one simple thing and it seems really hard…
All i want is on the homepage to have a video player embed where the slider is – not a slider for posts, not an image, i just want an iframe with a custom video player embed! I also want this for the different categories on my site but i figured if i can do it for one page i should be able to make other categories with players in the header 
let me know if that makes sense! Thanks!!

I like the light version of True Mag – looks really nice in your demo. But I was thinking, is it possible to move the white text in the slider to the top?
The thumbnails I will use will have text in bottom, so I don’t want the white text to be on top of that. Therefore, I thought I would ask if it is possible to move the white text to the top in the slider. Thank you.

Hey nice theme, everything works well. Just have some errors with Google structured data. The errors i’m getting are in all my post pages with structured data in Google. The types of errors i’m getting for every post page are below, any support on this matter will be much appreciated.

(Link 2) When you choose page template “Video Listing” for a page, all content of the page will be replaced by the list of videos. Therefore, Smart Content Box added into that page will not be visible.
As in Link 1, it is category. So it has different layout.

- It’s quite complex to customize the theme as you wish. You should hire a freelancer to help you with that
- If feature images are bigger than the size in specific positions, they are auto-resized to the correct size.

I went and follow one of the instructions to add the css below: @media (max-width: 500px){ .logo img{max-height:20px} } in theme options->custom css, but the logo still overlapping when viewed in mobile or minimize your browser become more narrow. Please help.
1. Suspect the custom css in theme options is not working well. I tried adding some simple css with !important but still does not make any changes in frontend (Already cleared browser cache every time) or did I missed out anything?
2. Just curious, I uploaded the favicon with the extension .ico (16×16) based on the instruction beside the upload button but it did not work. But it worked when I upload with .png. Just letting you know

The video sort/filter toolbar only appears in blog page. If you set up blog page as your front page, it will appear.
TrueMag supports self-hosted videos (.mp4) and most of popular video networks such as YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion…
