How can I decrease the padding between the nav and the line break? I would like it closer to 5 pixels and would like it to align with the same padding on transparent and non transparent heading.

Unfortunately there isn’t – but you could actually still use a recent project element with items in a custom category e.g “blog” that you could only display on the home page and not in your other portfolio listings (there’s the option to use custom project links which could lead to your blog posts:) if desired) – see the ascend demo homepage for an example of this

1. That option was removed since it is now obsolete – the image gallery element in the page builder offers the same display as that plus a ton of other options and th flexibility to move it where you need in the page rather than being forced to keep it at the top.

2. Unfortunately video BG’s can only be parallaxed through the slider – if you needed to add a color overlay to it, css be make that possible

You can accomplish this on video BG rows by editing the row.php file located inside of the nectar/nectar-vc-addons/vc_templates directory and removing the loop attribute on the video element near line 244

I’m seeing your server taking between 1-2 seconds before actually loading in any of the javascript (which the slide needs to adjust to the screen width) – have you tried to reach out to your hosting company in regards or see if any plugins are causing it?

There’s an option to disable the dates from displaying on portfolio items in the Salient options panel > portfolio tab

Oh sorry. I didn’t even check the Salient options panel as I thought that kind of options wouldn’t be available. Thank you for pointing me to the right direction. I have another question though, is it possible to set a specific order for the portfolio items to display without playing with the publication dates, and that is more specific than just alphabetical order ?

1. The last item in a portfolio masonry display will appear out a few pixels if it’s not touching the edge of a screen – this is because of the extra width needed on every project to ensure no white lines/empty spaces between the projects when using the isotope plugin.

2. You can use the fancy list Visual Composer element for this
