I cannot seem to find a way to force my pages to use the sidebar I created for them in the widgets section. They are all pulling the display everywhere sidebar, even though I have selected “Disable Everywhere Sidebar”. I found this exact question elsewhere in this forum but the solution link was no longer active. Thank you for your help and after quite a big learning curve, I have really been pleased with this theme.
Hi!., Check if you are using any cache plugin. If yes try to disable the plugin and check it. Else let us know the ftp and admin.

Hi., Go through the following instruction you get a clear view.
1) Just resize your logo to the size 198 wi x 40 hi so that it will fit to the header section. Else you need to modify the css for your bigger logo.
2) We have used font awesome icons which is the best way to show the icons. If you use the images then the website size will increase and the page load time will increase. For the list of available icons you can check this link http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/
3) You can change it from Buddha Panel -> Appearance -> Layout &BG.
for the number 3) I wasn’t referring to the background of the website for the boxed in version.. I was referring to the background of the icon boxes type 4 to be exact… The color of the grey background appears darker on the demo site and It does not look the same on my site.

Lists: No haning indent. Isn’t the theme supposed to support hanging indent for ordinary lists, not only for fancy lists ( [dt_sc_fancy_ul style=”“] )?

Hello, We need to increase the logo size and customize it in the header. Is this possible from the Budda panel? If not, may we suggest this as an improvement to your theme, and also how might we do this here in the main CSS file without the main menu getting shifted?

Hi!., You cannot customize the logo from the Buddha panel. We will consider it in future updates. The (#main-menu) class has 78% of the width and the (#logo) class has 22% of the width. So you need to adjust both as per your needs.

Client purchased this theme; and I’m trying to iron out a few kinks….
I’m using the recent posts code:[dt_sc_recent_post count="3" column="3" read_more_text="Read More" excerpt_length="0"]
And, running into two problems:
1. The excerpt length, in this code above, comes from the post body content, not the post excerpt. And, in doing so, it pulls the code as text, rather than content text only.
2. We’re also trying to hide the author from this loop. I’ve tried turning off the author options on the posts, and, removed any meta-data code found throughout theme files, but it still shows up here. Is it possible to remove?

Can we randomize the testimonials? Visitors to the site are only being exposed to the same first 2 or 3 testimonials with each visit. If they are randomly shown then the exposure is much, much better.

Hi!., The testimonials will show all the items that is called from the shortcode. If you use 10 testimonials, then all the 10 testimonials will be shown in the slider 1 by 1. and not 2 or 3 testimonials as you mentioned. And you cannot randomize the order.

My point is that a website visitor will not sit through all of the slides. At best they will watch the first 2 or 3 slides before they move on. By randomizing the slides you constantly change which slides the website visitor is exposed to as they move around the site or visit on different occasions. That is good exposure and marketing. Respectfully, please fix the issue raised by 3cstudio 6 months ago. I just wasted a bunch of time having to research a bug that should have been fixed by now.
The issue being if you have set you settings>readings>Posts Page then you go into your posts page and select the sidebar option and/or a column layout for your posts page, it will not work.
Only by going back to settings>reading>Posts Page and change it to “nothing’ does the customization start functioning.
During my research to fix this I see this same problem brought up over and over.
Fixing the bug will help others not encounter this.

Hi!., It is not a bug actually. When you select the post page from Settings -> Reading, then the blog template will not be called. Only the archives page will be called. This is how wordpress works. So if you need to have sidebar you need to set that from Dashboard -> Soulmedic -> Speciality Pages -> Archives -> Archives Layout & Posts Layout.
