You can simply re-assign a menu in the menu section of your WordPress dashboard under Appearance > Menus.

I am currently developing a site with the Ethos stack, and the post carousel which is a great concept. My only issue is that I don’t want to display the mouse over content of poster, category and post date.
How do I go about changing what data is displayed here and populate different content?

We provide several types of demo content.
1) Starter demo content that includes a few posts/pages, etc.
2) Home page demo content to you can easily recreate the look of the demo home pages.
3) Customizer import file (so you can import the Customizer settings needed to recreate a certain demo).

Hi there, hoping you can help me – I am compiling 4 portfolio pages for my client. For the index page for each portfolio I would like a different image from the ‘featured image’ on the page itself, how do I go about this? The image on the index page will actually be a cropped version of the ‘featured image’ if that is of any help i.e. same width but 1/3 the height…
Hi folks! I have this theme and am loving the ability to customize/updload with ease. I currently have Ethos with my blog set as my ‘home’ page. I love the filter by topic drop down function, but it defaults my content to the first filtered option instead of the latest posts. Is there a way to set the content to the latest posts and then people can use the filter by topic drop down whenever they want? If so, How do I instruct the theme to do that?

Hello, I am interested in this theme – it looks great! I just want to check if it will do what I am after.
I would like a full width responsive page with a left hand vertical menu that ‘sticks’ to the top left of the page even when scrolling down a longer page.

As you can see any any of our demos where the navigation is fixed left/right such as this one, the navigation/menu area will always stay fixed as you scroll down the page.

I just bought this theme. I was wondering how can i set my website up to make as same as your http://theme.co/x looks like. I imported the x-demo-content.xml and it turned out only a png inserted in my website homepage. Could you tell me how can i set up my homepage like yours?

All support is provided in our member area, so the first order of business is to register there if you haven’t done so already.
Secondly, that particular page is built around our Integrity 01 Demo with a slightly different navigation for our own use. We have a video tutorial of how to setup the Integrity 01 Demo here (towards the bottom of the page).
You will also need to activate the one page functionality, and you can find more information on that here.
Should you need anything further, feel free to browse the knowledge base and searchable forum. If there are still outstanding questions, a member of our development team will be happy to assist in the forum as that is where all theme support is provided.

Is there a way to configure this theme so you end up with a masonry (no margin style) portfolio like the SquareSpace Flatiron theme?
Is it possible to use a piece of each of the stacks while developing one’s own site?

The Stacks are not meant to be used simultaneously as they are uniquely designed for certain features and functionality. You can see a full list of all the different features in each Stack here by simply clicking on the Stack images towards the bottom of that page.

You are misunderstanding the answer to your question. If your question has to do with can you mix/match different parts of each Stack, the answer is no. They are created for unique purposes with their own unique features. If you are asking whether you can customize each Stack as needed, in any way you see fit once in use, the answer is yes.
Please understand, first of all, that I am not trying to be contrary…I simply want to understand. I hope this puts you at ease.
Lets say I want to Utilise the Ethos Stack…however, in secondary pages, I want to also implement the look of the Integrity Stack that looks like this… http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/10/click-through-to-see-a-cool-effect/ Are you saying, then, that I can start with the Ethos stack but also customize my secondary pages to basically be the same as the above mentioned Ethos stack (http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/10/click-through-to-see-a-cool-effect/) ??

No problem at all…just trying to explain the misunderstanding to our initial answer.
That particular effect, setting a unique background image then setting a slight delay before loading it, is global option and does not depend on the Stack.
Aside from the unique design elements that you can see when viewing each Stack, the only things you can not do from Stack to Stack are the things you see listed as unique features for each individual Stack here (Integrity), here (Renew), here (Icon), and here (Ethos) as there are four Stacks at the time of this posting.
Hello, I’m completely new to word press and two questions. First, is there a demo video of the page builder so I can see if it’s something that I can work with? Code is something that’s Greek to me! Second, can you create a page “template” and use it over and over with only a few clicks to add the new page? For example, I want to create a site for my clients that will become their wedding “homepage” allowing friends and family to navigate to myurl.com/bridegroom to see their images, access their bridal registry and more. Is this possible? Thank you in advance.

1) You can see a video of our Customizer in action here. This is not our integrated page builder, however it gives you an idea of how to manage your X-powered site.
2) Yes, you can create page templates such as this either through use in our page builder or through a more standard WordPress page templet.

In your search for the best theme/system, did anyone compare X Theme to Headway? If so, what were the determining factors for choosing X Theme over Headway?

the theme is very powerful and I like it so much. I only have one Problem. I want to animate(fade) Text or a Image with the help of Column. In the documentation I have found the Code to fade but it don’t works. First, after I start the theme the first time, I think there was the ‘Column’ Option in the Visual Composer. But now, I can’t find it there.
It would be very great when You send me a Html-Code with Text, where the fade animation is activated.
