Hmmm no the all cannot be out at the end without code edits. But you can select which categories show on each portfolio page or shortcode. All category will always show, but you can make it so that only a few categories show with it, or one.

You can also specify how many items show on page load.

Thanks. But I thought on “Home” page, showing categories is more important. Moreover if only few pics load, site loading speed could increase. Maybe you can consider for next release! Thanks for AWESOME theme

You can specify how many posts load with the page already. In theme options for port pages, or in the shortcode if used on the home page.

We are looking into adding flexibility for the “all” category though, sometime in a future update.

WooCommerce has to have a shop page, which is a page by itself and also a checkout page, cart page, etc. What you can do is have a one page site and use woo shortcodes to display products on that one page. But when a user adds an item to the cart and needs to checkout, they will need to go through those other pages. That is true for any theme though.

You can do that with custom CSS. Use this below.

You can place a slider ABOVE the header. Create your slider at 300px then assign it to your page. in the page options, choose the slider position to be above the header.

1. You can edit it just like normal text, insert the cursor and change the values. Here is a list of values http://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/avada-shortcode-list/

And in our next major release, our page builder is coming which allows you to have a user interface for editing shortcodes instead of editing the direct text.

2. Unfortunately it is impossible to make it fully valid, it is used more of a guideline. For example the many duplicate id errors you see are because of the sticky header, it reads it as two same menus which is correct, but one is for main and one for sticky. So that is not a real error, but gets reported as such.

However we always clean up any valid errors with each release.

2. Its an exact replica of the main menu, there are reasons why.

3. Yes it is true, that is not from google page speeds, which has become impossible to get high scores on due to constant rule changes. It is from GTmetrix.

And you can see from surfing the demo that it is fast. The demo also uses every feature and displays a bunch of content, most sites will not be that way, and you can disable features you do not use in theme options. Or for example, most sites will not sue both rev and layer slider, only one would be used.

You can make one page light and one dark, but custom CSS will be needed for one or the other depending on the content on each page. Theme options only allow you to make one global selection. But then page options allow you to set a different background color for header or main content area. But most likely to do it fully from top to bottom, you will need custom CSS to make sure everything fits.

Yes, you can have as many portfolio pages as you need, each with their own category of posts. For the image rollover settings, there are global options to disable titles and categories so that can only be done globally. But the rollover icons can be done individually per post. So for your portfolio that needs single post pages, you can leave on both icons. For the gallery portfolio, you can only show the zoom icon with the image title and category.

There is not a specific class or id for that, but you can create one if you wish. Each shortcode has a class and id option, you can make a new class and apply it to the shortcode. You need to hide items with media queries as you see in media.css.

2. Categories are only for posts.

3. The forum uses the free bbPress plugin, which is not included since its free. You can download and install it after you install Avada and all the correct styles will be auto applied as you see on our demo.

4. Hmmm unfortunately no, the person shortcode does not allow for filters. However, you could set up a portfolio page for this and upload each person as a portfolio post, but the layout will be different.

It will always be the new version when you download it, the file name will be the same. Extract the zip file and upload it via FTP, or remove the current theme via WP and upload Avada.zip again, it will be the latest version.

Hey!

Wordpress allows you to create different users and give them different levels of access. If you want users to be able to signup and create a profile, then there has to be a reason or feature for that, like for a forum or for shopping. So yes, if you use WooCommerce plugin, or bbPress or BuddyPress then you have that option.

Yes its been resolved awhile ago. Please update your theme to the latest Avada version 3.5.3. Also, do not replace the current theme folder, you need to remove the current one and upload the new one so no old files are left on your server. We revamped the Woo integration so that is needed to be done.
