Hi Author, Amazing theme you have here. Just a few quick questions
1.) In the “Submit Video” form, if user inputs ONLY the video URL, will the TrueMag automatically import the Title, Description, thumbnail as well?
2.) Is it possible to directly extract and use the Like/Dislike count from YouTube instead of the TrueMag system?
3.) Can the Visual composer be used to create page like this TED style? http://www.ted.com/talks/dan_pacholke_how_prisons_can_help_inmates_live_meaningful_lives
4.) Is it possible to use gamification plugin with the theme. (e.g. different names, awards for the Top Authors section or the most video ‘submitter’, author with most liked videos, )

Thanks for your interest. Regarding your questions
1. If video URL is one of TrueMag’s supported video networks (YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion…), you will only need Video URL. After admin reviews and saves the post, data like title, description, thumbnail are auto-imported.
2. Currently not, TrueMag are not able to get Like/Dislike info from YouTube
3. Visual Composer is used to construct page content area. Other areas are fixed by theme design. I do not get your point exactly so please compare the demo page with your desired pages
4. We haven’t tested TrueMag with Gamification plugin.

I do not see how the links-list layout matches with Smart Content Box layout…But currently, Smart Content Box does not have that layout, so you will need to edit the source code to achieve that.

I am facing a problem with the video URL (youtube). I am getting the URLs through RSS, so i get “&feature=youtube_gdata” or “&feature=youtube_gdata” at the end of every URL. That causes the Auto Fetch function not to work. Any ideas on how to overcome this problem? Thank you,
Hi. It only work with standard url youtube link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=video_id), so if you add “&feature=youtube_gdata” or “&feature=youtube_gdata” at the end of every URL it will does not work.
Please remove it manually.

Well, as I mentioned in my initial question, I knew about the error, and I was aware it does not support the URL with that ending.(however this is a very silly error). My question was: “Any ideas on how to overcome this problem”? Could you tell me exactly what file is used to process the URL from this field? I will just write a filter to strip out the ending of if. Hi!
I would like to add additional Smart Content carousels underneath the Related Videos carousel on the single video page. I’ve tried adding them using the Visual Composer, however it only lets me add elements ‘above’ the Related Videos carousel. Can you offer any direction?

Thanks for interest. You can turn on player in some header styles like Classy Header (http://demo.cactusthemes.com/truemag/home-page-classy-header/). In other header styles, like Metro style, it can only be thumbnail image.

It’s because you are using TrueMag-child theme, which is used for Poster size thumbnail. You can activate the parent TrueMag theme to turn back into 16:9 size.

Hello, I have problem. I have only 140px pictures on main page when I am on mobile phone . It looks very bad

It was tucked in the tru-mag shortcode directory (plugins/truemag-shortcodes/js_composer/assets/lib) along with the flex slider, etc. You may use piomni.tv as a reference URL
Ah, I got your point. You are using Visual Composer shortcode/element. Unfortunately, that’s a third party plugin that we cannot help much. Please raise a question to Visual Composer’s author.
