Thanks, knew it was simple to target it with CSS, but eventually I had to apply this to a child theme CSS file, adding it in the global options wasn’t overwriting. Guess a hierarchy issue?

-Suggestion. Is there anywhere on the web you can see the elegant icons with relevant CSS? maybe useful to add into your support documentation/demo page

Ok thanks, I did get a workaround using the grid gallery within a page template, I’m guessing I can’t utilise the ‘likes’ because it’s not a portfolio? Also, it seems to be crashing in mobile browsers, any suggestions? guessing memory/number of images? http://mattwing.co.uk/hazel_demo/sarah-nick/

you need to divide row element on three columns and than add counter shortcode to each of them. Here is a screenshot of how that needs to be done:

I have another issue. Why does my general site title appear in each page’s seo meta title in the browser tab? That def shouldn’t be happening. I don’t have any seo plugins installed at the moment so it’s not a compatiblilty problem.

If you mean did I “Disable Select SEO”, I didn’t, I have “No” selected. I’ve tried everything but the problem persists. Even when I simply enter title tags and descriptions into the Hazel Theme’s SEO areas (with no other SEO plugins activated) they do not show correctly in the browser tabs or in SERPs!! That’s a SERIOUS PROBLEM! It’s killing my ranking and costing me hundreds of dollars!! I know the theme looks great but to market it as SEO friendly is misleading because it certainly is not. I suggest you work on this issue for your next update and chill out on the theme imports, I think 20 is sufficient for now. I apologize for the rant but it’s B.S. to overlook something so simple. I expected more from one of the higher priced themes at $58.

Any other ideas about how I can fix this problem? I submitted a ticket and was told the compatiblilty issue with SEO Yoast had been figured out but then I was given directions to replace large amounts of code with large amounts of code in serveral different areas within the site, a little out of my league. Then I asked when the update will be available to fix the problem, I got, “I don’t know” not so helpful and to top it off my ticket was closed, not cool.

Ticket #274816. I added and replaced the codes mentioned in the ticket response but I’m still seeing the site title in all of my meta tags and descriptions upon installing SEO Yoast and disabling Hazel’s SEO. Also, the pages won’t load correctly with Yoast installed. If I try to return to the homepage from another page the homepage won’t load.

I don’t care so much about using SEO Yoast as much I would like the proper meta data to show in my browser tabs and SERPs (no site title) If I simply use the Hazel Theme’s SEO areas that’s fine by me, I just prefer to use Yoast because of it’s snippet preview feature and sitemaps. I really need to fix this ASAP. A phone number would be great. This posting a comment, then waiting, then posting thing is beyond brutal.

Thank you for your help but I’ve been having issues with the contact form displaying an “email server error” message in addition to waiting for my SEO issue to be resolved. I would like a refund. 1. Yes, you can use vimeo, youtube or selfhosted videos for your portfolio items.

2. Unfortunately no, modification of our portfolio list shortcode is needed in order to achieve this. It would require markup and some style changing.

we don’t have an option for title border weight, you can change that with this simple css that you need to paste to Select Options -> Custom css field:

.carousel-inner h2.with_border {
    border-width: 2px;
}

Just change 2px to suit your needs

1) You can edit all your pages in Pages in your admin area. Type in search filed about us grid and open that page. When page opens you will see Visual Composer section where you can edit elements on that page. Same applies for all pages that you want to edit.

2) You can add / remove pages to your menu in Appearance -> Menus page in your admin area.

Regarding slider in Alice that is Layer Slider that we have used. You need to import that separately in Layer Slider:

Clicking on highlighted button will open file chooser window where you need to navigate to unzipped download package -> xml export and choose LayerSlider_Export_Hazel11.zip file. After sliders are finished with importing you need to copy proper layer slider shortcode from layer slider page to this field in your page custom fields:

Great news – I can see where I edit the content of a page. Awesome. I also found the correct menu to edit (I was editing the wrong menu). Yay again! Therefore ABOUT in the top menu is now going to the right page. Fantastic.

My problem is that the page has an error, as do all my pages. If you click on the links, they are going to the right URLs but we can’t see the page, only an error. This happens as well when I’m editing the page and try to preview the page – I see an error message. Any clue what I’m missing?

Regarding the slider, I made to the part where you mentioned I need to enter the short code (Here: http://screencast.com/t/wBfVIxxUn0jF). What page are you looking at? I found the shortcode, but I don’t know what page to put this on. I want the slider to appear on the home page.

Regarding the error that you have could you please check Settings -> Permalinks page and try to revert to default? This seams like server not having mod_rewrite module activated. If error is gone when you revert to default settings than contact your hosting service and ask them to activate mod_rewrite module for your account. This is an option that you need to select:

Regarding slider shortcode you need to open your home page in admin and paste slider shortcode to field that we have highlighted in our previous screenshot (that field is available for each page).

You are solving my problems left and right – thank you! I’m almost done adding content. Seems to be only one more snag – the slider isn’t appearing properly on the homepage. A small top portion is cutoff and there’s some kind of error message: [LayerSliderWP] Slider not found to the left. Any clues?

Make sure that slider with that ID exits. For example, if you have pasted this Layer Slider shortcode to field for it:

[layerslider id=”16”]

Make sure that that slider really exists. You can check that in Layer Slider page in your admin. This is probably due to different IDs of sliders when you have imported them
