Hey there.. slight issue here..
The portfolio page is always displaying the most current project I add in the header/slideshow area, I want it to just display an image there (which I have set in the page settings). It used to work but for some reasons now it is showing the latest project up there. I made a new portfolio page which worked fine, but when I deleted the old one, then this page started displaying the last project in the header!

In mobile screens, if you check my portfolio area, every project has their title and project description hidden behind the menu area.
I tried to add a top margin in smaller screen with a media query but its not working.
Can you help me with that?

what device are you using to check this?
I have checked your site in iPhone5 and MotoG and I can see your title and description within each project in your portfolio area. One tap and appear both elements and another one to view the project.
Is this not working correctly for you? Please, provide more details in order to know a little bit more and try to help with.

I understood that you mean the portfolio page. In you case, and due to the customizations you have made, the project pages are displaying wrong.
Try to fix this in this way:
@media handheld, only screen and (max-width: 720px){

.info-box h3 { font-size: 28px !important; line-height: 35px !important; }
.info-box p { font-size: 15px !important; }
}
This should improve your titles display in your particular case.

Something really strange and quite bad happen.
I customized every single page of portfolio area with “Custom CSS settings” in “Page Settings” in order to have different settings in particular pages.
But, i don’t know why, today i was checking it, and everything disappeared. Every custom css in each portfolio page is gone 
Maybe it was some update or something.
But I thought that data doesn’t interfer with update system… well, i dont know what happen.

as you well say, the custom CSS should not disappear suddenly. In any case, we always recommend to use the child theme in order to maintain as better your customized site.
Updates don´t affect to this part and to this way to customize themes, maybe it was some code remove by your part by mistake or something. But I´m sorry to say, that we can´t help with.
Hello! I’ve just updated WordPress to 4.0 Version, and I noticed a big problem with the Visual Composer: now it’s impossible to edit any page, because I can not save my changes, and the VC crashes costantly. How can i solve this? Thank you very much Davide

I just realise that the map in my homepage doesn’t work.
It is there, but you can’t navigate in it.
Also, in smaller screens, the address point on the map disappears. The map is not centered.

Yes, this is because you changed your angled area and this creates a region that it is not fully clickable. Just open a support ticket and I will try to help with.

I have an issue with the Preloader.
If you click on the logo to return to the homepage, the site just stays on the preloader – If you go into dev tools and manually add a style to the preloader div as display:none the content then shows on the homepage.
I picked up on this that if you use a link in the menu it pulls the JS from somewhere to add the “display:none” class to the preloader div to show the content. however when you click the Logo in the top left to get to the homepage it does not add this class.
Have looked through all your js files (mainly custom.js) and cant seem to find where this is to resolve. Can you please give me some direction. Also noticed this happened from your demo.

this is a quite weird issue, which Chrome version are you running? Could I take a look at your site, please? It is possible that some js from a external plugin you could have installed or any other resource is having some conflict with the theme when you load your homepage. The best should be opening a support ticket and provide there the URL to your site. We´ll try to help with.

I understand what you want to achieve, you could add an image as background and increase that area width to 100%, but you never would have the same resizing angle in your image than the top and bottom layout because the resize behaviors for images and layout would be different. I could help with it, so open a support ticket and let´s see what could we do in this sense.

I have been a member of Themeforrest since it was called Flashden about 7 years ago and if you look at my profile you will see that you bought hundreds of themes through the years. I also have developed websites for brands like Absolut Vodka, Adidas and Jameson Whisky and I been in two teams winning webbyawards.
If you are a novice developer then this theme might be something for you but for anyone who know any kind of html it is totally useless.
All content is made by shortcodes with make the code look like a big bowl of spagetti with inline style tags all over the place.
I have been sitting with this crap for three days trying to work with the portfolio, and stuff that would take me 5 minutes to code takes ages with all the short codes.
As codeformatting for short codes also do not work in sublime,dreamweaver, netbeans etc. it is basically impossible to see where a tag start and end.
Also, you cant use this if you have a client. All the inline tags will make you look like an amateur coder from the middle of the 90’s.
Dont buy!

first of all, I must to say that I respect your experience for such important brands and I don´t put in doubt your knowledge in web development.
But if you have some experience with page builders, you will know that all the contents are managed via these kind of systems. Flamingo uses Visual Composer, the most important and powerful page builder that it is the system responsible of the generated markup.
These are two different codes, the core codes that are written in PHP with the Wordpress basis and the generated content & markup needed for the different contents generated via the page builder (Visual Composer).
When a theme is summited to Themeforest is reviewed for a review team that guarantees the code quality and Wordpress code standards. In this sense, Flamingo is completely well coded and it is used for developers with a lot of experience. The main feeling working with the theme is the easy to use and customizable it is.
In the other hand, Visual Composer, the system responsible of the content (this is not a simple shortcode generator), has sold thousand of licenses for developers. I think that all those developers can´t be wrong neither, and after more than 1.300 sales with Flamingo, all those developers and web promotors, freelancers without any experience coding or other professionals in general that have purchased the theme can´t be wrong neither.
At the end, I completely respect your opinion and thoughts, but please, I would ask you to be more constructive with your opinion, because honestly, I think you are not wise with it. Flamingo is a very useful tool designed for creative people that need a website easy to use. If you install the dummy XML file, in 5 minutes you could have a site ready to add your own contents.

Hi Kent,
the angles are handled via javascript in order to resized them and adjust them in the best way. So you will need to modify the core js file you will find within js folder, this is custom.js.
Here you will find around the line 1099 the function setAngledSections(). Just modify all the current values inside the function “border-left-width” for “border-right-width”. This should change the angles for the top angle and bottom.

Notice that Flamingo is a portfolio theme and not a event oriented concept, so for this goal you would need to use some related plugin or something.

I decided to change to menu layout 4 (opened).
So, i understand that on mobile screens the menu changes to closed, but in my website specific case, that can’t happen because of the colors that i have in my logo and in the different backgrounds. Better if you check it to understand better.
Can you helped me with that?
I think in this case i would prefer to adjust the menu on mobile screens and keep it opened.

this is not easy to change due to the diverse menus available. For this reason you can´t modify this only via CSS, you will need to tweak the core js file.
