Hello, I looked everywhere for this info but can’t seem to find it. I am using this theme one one of my sites but I want to use it again on another. How can I get a second license without seeing two different Avada themes in my downloads?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look of this theme. The Blog Timeline is amazing, the parallax with video is amazing, the over all look, feel and speed seems incredible. Couple questions though.
1.) With the Modal Popup Shortcode, would it be possible to have that bring up a full screen video? Refer to “Power to Play on” (http://www.google.com/nexus/5/#/sharing) section of the Google Nexus 5 Website.
2.) Also, from the Nexus 5 website, the main video at the top of the page by default is not playing. Maybe this could be achieved with the Modal Popup Shortcode, but is that something you can control with the Fusion Slider settings?
3.) (And Lastly) Is it possible to have a video background in the sections with parallax scrolling?
If you cant tell, we are a Video Production company (http://www.pixellabscreative.com) Looking to revamp our site a lot. We need better performance, more unique functionality and a cleaner style to help make us stand out from our competition. I hope we will be doing this with your theme.

1. A full screen video option is not available yet, however we would like to add one at some point.
2. Any video you insert, either in a modal popup or in the Fusion Slider, Layer Slider, Rev Slider does not have to auto play, you can set it to only play on click.
3. Not yet, but this will be added sooner than later.

Sounds great! Thank you for the response. We will check back as our pre planning phase comes to a close and see how things are coming. So far though, this one looks to fit our needs the best. A full screen video player would make this theme a sure thing though.
With the Modal Popup, is it possible to at least eliminate much of the frame around the video so it looks less like a new window and more like part of the current page. Also, what controls the size of that window? Is it responsive to the device you are on?
Also, is there any way to get expandable sections like this theme has: [removed]
That is the only other feature we are really looking for in a theme and really the only reason that theme is in the running currently.

For the modal, there is not an option to do that in the theme but you can remove the margin/padding with custom CSS.
Yes its fully responsive, the size is hard coded, so there is no option for that either. But if you are familiar with editing code you can modify it to your needs.
Currently we do not have expandable “sections” such as that, the accordion shortcode is the closes to that.

um question, how do you install the latest version of the theme? I have the 3.5 but there is some new stuff on the newer version. Also it would be great if you guys could devise a way to just have it update on our sites. Like give us an option to update.

There is an option to update Its the auto updater, you need to setup your Themeforest credentials first so the purchased is verified, but after you do that once it will show you when an update is ready.

I have to add multi-layer 5+ images parallax in the same background, for 3d movement effect in a project that will have lots of animation. Can I do this with Avada. Thanks!!

Hmmm if its possible it can be done with the rev or layer slider. I’m not entirely sure how many parallax layers it can support, but check out the rev/layer slider to see.

Hello! My client just purchased and both of us have tried uploading the theme without any luck- it gets to 99% and then says Are you sure you want to do this? And doesnt install!

So, how can i find which modified files ? I do not know what i changed cause i’m beginner for wordpress please help me.
This is hard for us to do because when code is changed, it is hard to track down. All I can say at this point is the code was changed and that is causing the issue.
This is not a setting issue, it is code changed in the files. First I would check theme options > css tab to see if you have any custom CSS. If so, remove it all and see if it fixes it.
If it does not, then please upload a fresh copy of the theme files and it will revert back to our original.

Hello,
I love this theme. It’s so versatile. I do have a concern about my featured images. When I select “medium”, the images are not being resized. They are being cut off. I thought the theme would automatically resize the image so that the entire image can be seen – just at a smaller size. Any assistance you can provide would be great.

I don’t mind the smaller size image. I just want the entire image to be displayed and not cut off. I’ve seen this work in other themes, so I was hoping it would work with this one.
I’m still working on this page, but if you go here: futurisayoga.com/?page_id=33, scroll down and click on the “Live Inspired” tab, you’ll see an example. This actually brings up another issue. The featured images in these tab boxes will only show once the page is refreshed. Really weird.

But if you are using the recent posts or recent work shortcode in the tabs, the images will be cropped to a specific size. There is not an option to change that at this time. That is done for aesthetics purposes because most of the time more than one post shows so the images need to be the same size/shape.
If it is for recent work shortcode, then in our next release (v3.6 coming soon) you will be able to choose auto for picture size and it will show the full image ratio.
If its recent posts, then you may be able to get around it by placing an image in the post content field, and then hiding the featured image (thumbnail) via the shortcode. So the title will show above the image, but the image will show the full thing.
But the recent post and recent work shortcodes are only meant for a quick preview which is another reason why the mage are cropped like that.

The menu has a dropdown search field option, however it will search pages and post content by default. If you need a specialized search function (like by region and state) then you may need to look into a searching plugin or custom development.

Hi, I found two theme zip files in the files,one is avada theme,another is avada-child-theme.
but I want to know what’s the difference between them except the file size.
Cause it is found that I can get the same frontpage for this two theme please clarify me.

One of them is the parent theme (avada.zip) and one is the child theme (avada-child-theme.zip).
The parent theme is always needed, even if you use the child theme. Child themes are used when you want to customize more than just our options, for example when you want to change the code. Read about child themes in the codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes Most of the time advacned users use them to modify the code. If you are not doing that, then please only use the parent theme.

Yes you can have the blog, or any other page as your home page. If putting blog as home page, it is recommended to use a regular page with the blog element, that way you have full control over all options.
Hmmm, that grid category feature is not possible out of the box with Avada. But if that is from a pluign, then you should be able to use it with Avada also, but we cannot guarantee that at this time.

The FAQ’s do not have a page to edit, but they have a post to edit. Then you create a FAQ page (use the FAQ page template) then all the faq’s show up on the page, like you see here: http://theme-fusion.com/avada/faq-page-1/
I assume those items you want to change are for the single FAQ post page? Right now there are not options to change those items on the single post page. Please post on our support forum and our support team may be able to assist you in that.

Hi, great theme, but I have a strange problem. If I have a menu item with a submenu, and click on the main menu item for the first time – nothing happens. If I click for the second time, the page loads. This happens only with main menu items which have a submenu. Tested in IE and Chrome Any idea how i can fix this? Thanks

Hmmm we would need to see this in action, and be able to investigate. It could be a 3rd party plugin interfering. Try to disable them all to see.

Hi. My friend actually bought the theme and I’m putting together the page (why it doesn’t say purchased on my comment). I know we’re able to change the typography, however, what if we want to change the fonts for just the navigation. how would i go about that?
