Hello, pre-sale questions
1) I read in older posts that you will have a Page Builder included in version 3.6, can you tell me when version 3.6 will be available?
2) Can you tell me what widget or shortcode did you use to build the contents in this page below ? In particular, the different sections or grids that show a Heading, recent articles, and total number of articles in that particular heading. Hope you understand what I am referring to

Yeah you could, but to get it just like that will take custom work.
However, our recent post shortcode pulls blog posts and you can set a specific category. So you can put several on a page like that, each one pulling a separate set of posts. And you can disable the thumbnails so images do not show, just text title and meta info. So it can be done but will be a bit different.

Each menu item can have an icon or a custom image uploaded that will sit to the left of the text. Its a small image area, like the icons you see on the SHOP menu dropdown.

There is no longer need for XML files. We have a built in demo content importer, directly in theme options on the General tab. And its even better than XML files because its imports everything, not just pages and posts. It gives you pages, posts, sliders, widgets, sidebars, theme options and more.
If you want the rev sliders, layer sliders and woo products, make sure to have both of those plugins active when importing.

However, if you wish you can import individual XML files as well. They are located at “avada > framework > plugins > importer > data”.

The endless possibilities to customize your pages are great, and can give every site its unique look. How ever, I wold love if the sidebar and widgets could be more “sexy” in its design, or that we users could customize the look… The same for the WooCommerce product page (single product)

I am looking for a theme for my photo+blog website. I want to display / show photos on large size, i.e. @ resolution of 1024px width in my blog post. It is possible to increase size (width) of blog in avada theme? I think default size (Full Width) is 940/ 960px for Post in avada theme.

Currently in 3.5.3 it can be done but requires code edits on your end. However, some really great news is that our next major release (about 2 weeks away) allows you to easily change the site width across the theme with a simple theme option

You can use a google adsense plugin with Avada, that is no problem.

We’ve not used that one either so I cannot say for certain, but it should be fine. If an issue does arise we can work with the author to try and resolve it based on what the issue actually is. But most of the time, plugins work as expected.

Browsing your portfolio demo in an Ipad Air it is difficult to get a zoomed image centered in the display. Is it a responsive issue due to prettyphoto pluggin functionality ?

Do you mean just building a page with shortcodes, or do you mean an actual new PHP page template? If with shortcodes, just make a new page in admin and select the page template you want and add your content. If you mean a PHP page template, then it is the same for any theme, create your PHP page and add it to the theme folder.

Does theme updates can cause problems for my design changes? Do I need to save some CSS files or something else before I make some theme updates? tnx!

Theme updates will be fine unless you have made code changes to our files. In that case, you should be using a child theme, that way you only need to update the parent theme and your child theme keeps your custom code edits.
If you only added custom CSS, then there is a custom CSS field in theme options > css tab. If you place it there, it will not be removed during an update.

OK, theme looks pretty boss and your feedback seems good. Support also seems pretty good (I bought a theme two weeks ago where support was running some kind of special slow motion edition, and I even work in tech support!)
Gonna take the plunge sometime in the next couple of weeks when I start on a major project for a political party. Only thing is I’ve to use Gotham from typography.com as the header and body fonts – I’ve worked on dozens of sites before and, though fairly competent, something always goes wrong. You know yourself.
When I get the license, will someone from support be able to help me through some CSS-jiggery-pokery at the outset?
(I’ll obviously handle the typography provision side of things…)

Hmmm, can you get the 4 web font files for Gotham Font? If so then it will be as easy as uploading those files to theme options. The custom font we allow to upload will work for all headers and menu font. From there, you will need to use custom CSS for it to show on body font, which we can assist you with.

I’m very interested in your theme. I do have one question before purchasing: I notice on the demo that the checkout steps are hidden in tabs, as opposed to a normal one page checkout where are steps are visible in one page. Is it possible to remove these tabs and have a proper one page checkout where the buyer can see the billing/shipping address, shipping options, payment options etc all on the same page without having to click on the different tabs?

How compatible is this theme with Buddypress? Please an honest answer, as everybody seem to say “Yes it is”, but brings nothing special for community or has terrible Ajax Lags.
Of course, we are always honest here
It’s compatible with BuddyPress and will work, but there are no added design styles for it. So BuddyPress will work exactly as it would with the default Wordpress theme. We do not add anything extra for it at this time, but will in the future at some point.

If I have the following code where in the desktop view, the left half of the page is text and the right half of the page is an image, when I decrease my browser to mobile width, is there a way to get the image on the top and the text on the bottom? How would I go about doing this?

Hi how are you? Just really quick, is Avada compatible with Visual composer and also with what used to be Ultimate Tiny MCE (But now I think goes by Wordpress something… it’s basically to enhance the built in WP visual editor so there are more options like font sizes and font colors, etc). Please let me know. I want to make sure I am not going to upload either plugin and then everything breaks. Thanks.

Doing well, thanks for asking! It is compatible with VC, however our shortcodes will not integrate with it but you can use them in the text block element with our generator. The good news is our next release will have a custom page builder added. Coming in a few weeks.
