Hello there I purchased your theme and due to being a beginner of word press i noticed that your Index file is different compare to latest word press 4.0 and i cant seem to downgrade word press to 3.9 as its not recommended or an easy job to do. I was following instructions and doing fine until the wordpress and index file started to differ alot so i need your help. Also regarding menu icons the new WordPress doesn’t have this option advance menu options and properties etc on wordpress 4.0 please help.

In Wordpress all text strings should be in the language file. Check default WP themes. Also please read “IV. How to translate theme?” in the documentation of my theme.
I do not need to translate the theme. I just need to make an update to the huge text block on the front page.
I attempted to update the language file myself. Very specific details above. It did not work. Do I HAVE to install a standalone application (poedit.net) to make ALL changes to the lang file? If so I would state this more clearly in your help text sextion IV.
The file I have tried manually updating is here.

Any other recommendations?
Have I ever had to install a standalone application like www.poedit.net to make updates to any other themes? No. Every theme I have paid for so far (and most cost way under the $60+ this theme cost) has been much more user friendly to configure. If you want the txt fields to live in a language file so that users of other languages can quickly translate your site then write the code to update the language file via fields in a user friendly config page. Don’t force 90% of your clients to learn how to update language files using standalone applications to make simple changes to things like huge block texts on the front page. Record a video of the process of updating a lang file using poedit.net. The experience is disgusting. I guarantee everyone who has bought this theme and had to use poedit.net standalone app to update key parts of their page hated every second of it. I have a few of your themes and it clearly looks good or else I would not buy it, but your theme configuration options are extremely limited and this process to update a text block on the front page is damn near unacceptable.
You can just change it in the frontpage1.php, This theme is multilingual so all text string must be in the language file.

Buddypress just doesn’t contain this translation. It’s a bug of buddypress. My theme doesn’t contain “Notify group embers of changes via email”

I translated it without any problems. The “In” of the On the Forums widget is a part of bbpress language file.
Okay. Im quite confused. 14 days ago you corrected the error and then it was translated correctly after I updated a couple of days after. Then after the last update some days ago, the problem reappeared.
rasmusberg: Its in the comment widget. Cant find the other place where I saw it now. But its when someone write a comment and it show where the comment was written. X wrote a comment “in” x-topic/blogpost.

There is no space for ad on header. You can remove menu with icons and put ad. Footer is full widget ready so you can display here everything. You can put ad before first topic.
