As I stated, you can have the menu and footer out wider, you will be able to control the entire site width in our upcoming version 3.6.

Megamenu full width is the “full width of site content”, not 100% full width.

Hmm I would ask the plugin developer for clarification on that. My understanding is it only allows you to reorder the posts, not randomize it.

I would my page to look like the ”single Product sidebar” shop page in the Avada demo version. But I can’t get the product image container to skink, when I add a sidebar. Please help!

Hmmm the produce image size and area that the image sits in shrinks automatically when using a sidebar, as you see on our demo.

This may be a plugin issue. Please disable all extra 34rd party plugins and see if that helps. If the issue persists, please post this up on our support forum and our support team will check it out.

Most likely you have bad installation. I would remove the Avada folder and upload a fresh copy, some files must of not uploaded fully the first time.

Also make sure to delete rev slider plugin and reinstall. If you do have any sliders made, be sure to export them first for backup.

You can have a header with or without a menu (just make an empty menu and assign to page) ,the theme also supports dual sidebars (left + right), and a footer or you can choose to have no sidebar. Sidebars can be used or not used on any page or post.

Yes the page builder is coming in v3.6, which is about 10 days away. That is an estimated timeframe though, so please allow a little room for adjustment.

That will depend a lot on what you use and your own content. We cannot guarantee that will happen as a lot of that is out of our hands and into yours.

When you set it up, if you have any questions or issues, post on our forum so you can speak with our developers. That will get you the fastest service as we do not deal with support like that here in comments.

Well let me explain a bit more … social icons can be used in the headers v2-5 very easily, all with the included options, no coding is required. However, they will be with header 2-5 in the top secondary bar. The shop and search icon in the main menu can be easily turned on or off, but cannot be replaced with our options. You can hide them so they dont show and then pout your social icons in the top secondary bar. If you need the social icons to be in the spot of the shop and search icon, then yes you will to replace that in the coded files. It is not overcomplicated and considered a normal customization in my opinion.

There are no limitations, you can use any logo size you need. Any size you upload will display in the header and we give controls to control the logo and header padding also.

Our demo has a ton of content because we have to show each and every option, lots of large images, etc. We also have each feature turned on, all slider scripts, etc. You can disable features or plugin you do not use in admin.

Just curious, why are you looking for such a low page speed load size? As you can see even with all that content, the demo flys like a plane I would not worry about the overall page size to be honest, but you can certainly reduce that depending on your content.

As you know better than me, because you’re an Internet expert and a Wordpress expert, there is two main reasons for searching a low page speed load:

1. Google cares about load page speed to rank any website. The faster the better.

You’re the world number one selling theme, so I am not here to teach you anything

2. Low page speed provides a user/ visitor better experience = experiential marketing. There is indeed research that states there is a huge difference between a 2 seconds load page speed and a 3 seconds page speed.

As I mentioned ThemeFusion is the world’s one theme provider, so you excel (or should excel) in what you do.

I have none html and php skills but I know a little bit about online marketing…. and a little more about marketing

So keep an eye in your code and your load page speed:-)

1. Well yes, we both know that. But you gave a very specific page size of 2 secs max, which is where my curiosity came from. And as stated, a lot of that will depend on your content.

2. Yes any viewer wants a site to be fast. But those stats shoudl most defintely be taken with a grain of salt. Whiuch research firm gave tshoe stats? Because a 2 vbs 3 second difference is very minor and most viewers would not even notice that. As stated earlier, surf our demo, it is very fast. Real world time in usage should not be ignored. From our experience, too much concern can be put into that kind of thing. Since you are marketer though you know that content can be just as or even more important then page speed.

And we certianly keep an eye on our code, we keep an eye on everything dealing with Avada

Check out the search tab in theme options for various settings. However, it depends on what is in the post, if it is shortcode content then that is stripped out because if the excerpt is too short and the shortcode gets cut off in the middle, then it only dislays the actual shortcode and not the content. Check out the theme options though.

It seems as though any content found within a shortcode is excluded from the page excerpt.

How can I edit the code to make sure this content appears?

Yes that is true, because of what I said above about the excerpt being shorter than the shortcode, the content could not complete.

You can try to insert a custom excerpt for the post, that should show in search results. But if that does not work the code edits to achieve this are more than we cna give out. It would be various changes.

Most likely you are on a much older version of Avada when it was integrated into the theme. You can try to delete it at avada > framework > plugins, but I would recommend updating to the latest version that has it as a standalone plugin, in which case you simply do not need to install it.

Each portfolio post has a video embed code field, you can insert it there. However, if this is a self hosted video I’m not entirely sure that will work smoothly, currently that is only supported for YT and V videos.
