Hi, We need to remove links from miniatures on the Post. So that a miniature record is without link, like usual Image. Page is formed by short code “Blog”. By default, the link to the Post comes both from Title and from miniature. Advise, what should we do in order to link comes only from Title to the Post. Are you referring to a portfolio column page? If so the content you enter in the post content field will go above the portfolio items since that is a page template.
However, you can use the recent work shortcode on a regular page and put content above or below it.

That will depend on where you put them. We have a custom CSS field in theme options that will not be overwritten.
But if you changed them in the theme files, then those will be replaced. If you did that, i would recommend checking into using our child theme. We include a starter one and you can read about them kin the codex here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

When will you bring out the easy drop website composer promised. It keeps getting promised and never being released. I am not using this and would like a refund soon if this is not released in the next 1-2 days. It is the reason why I bought it in the first place.

We are not going to release it and rush it, that is not how we do things. However, it is coming this week for certain, by weeks end at the latest. We never have advertised having a builder, only that one is coming sometime. Themeforest cannot give a refund for something like that.
And you can stay informed on our support center as we ask all user to signup there. It has news and updates status. And we even released a beta version of it that users can use weeks ago.

We cannot speak for other themes, only Avada. We changed our update schedule to break v4 up into smaller updates, because it was too big. Any user that is registered with us on our support forum had access to that knowledge as well during the whole process, and a lot of them gave feedback and it was included in the decision making. We keep very good working relationships with our userbase, they are what help make Avada so good.
Our next update is v3.6 and it contains a new page builder, site width controls, dual sidebars, 5-6 columns throughout and a lot more. It’s a very nice update.
We thrive on constant updates with new features and values to our users, and above all support. When you buy Avada, you will get the support you need and also future updates. Each update is not just a bug fix, in some ways it’s like buying a new theme because of the added features.

Can someone here help, why cant we see the post title above the post? have spent hours going over every option and still no result. how do we show the title of a post on top of the featured image.

The post titles will show below the post, that is how it is setup at the moment.
What you can do though, is disable the featured image on single post pages (blog tab in theme options) then insert your image at the top of the post content field. So it will show title first, then the image will show below that.

Hi, we want to redesign our Joomla based city portal with Wordpress. We plan to install wordpress and activate AVADA theme under http://mydomain.com/new . After finishing, we want to move up to http://mydomain.com.
Will be AVADA still licensed, and activated on the new path?

Hi, I’ve installed 3.6.1 on http://mydomain.com/new, but Fusion Builder doesn’t work correctly: saving pages the shortcodes are stored, but can’t see the saved visual elements in builder.

So when you save the page, it saves but once it refreshes there is no content? Hmmm … we cannot reproduce that. First try to disable your 3rd party plugins to see if one is conflicting.
If that does not work try to delete fusion core plugin and reinstall, you will see a message to reinstall once you delete it.

Hi, all the plugins has disabled, fusion core reinstalled, but the error still exists. Refreshing the page in the editor, the fusion builder graphical elements have disappeared. Switching to default editor, I can see the shortcodes. On domains, and subdomains it’s all right. The error exists only when wordpress and AVADA are installed in a subfolder.
Hmmm, so it works correctly when it is not in a subfolder? Please post this on our forum so we can look at it in depth.

Sorry, I can’t give you FTP access, because this is not my own domain 
FTP info is not required, you can just give WP info or none at all, the login info is for faster service in case we do need it. It’s best to create a topic so we can have our developers respond and check into this

Overall, WP can be installed in any folder on a server but the htaccess pointing must be correct and in order that the installation can be found (permalinks) and the DNS pointings must be correct also.
Avada looks great, before buying I was wondering about whether I could use it to easily implement a specific feature we desire on our home page. We plan to have 3 or 4 full width color bands with text on one side and a picture on the other. The text will be minimal, but if the user clicks on “read more” within the band, we’d like the color band to expand vertically and for the text to be replaced with new (more detailed) text. Is this easily possible in the theme? Thanks for your help!

I’ve just purchased the Avada theme, but cannot find the required plugins Fusion Core, Layer Slider and Revolution Slider in the Wordpress plugin search. Can you please advise me how to download and install these plugins?
I’ve already installed the Avada theme through the cPanel File Manager and activated it, but then 110 pages of your theme got published as well. Therefor I installed a ‘Maintenance plugin’ to avoid this from happening.

a couple of dumb questions…
1) the features promote that the theme is bbpress and woocommerce compatible – does this mean that these features are built-in, or is this something that i still have to add manually (no big deal; just planning some applications).
2) is there dynamic thumbnail resizing?

No question is a dumb question, always better to ask!
1. The theme is compatible with those plugins, and we add extra design styles so they fit with teh rest of the theme. But you need to install those plugins to use them, they are free plugins that are not included with the theme. You can download them directly from WP admin.
2. Can you elaborate on this one? When you upload an image to WP, it creates several other sizes of the image (thumbnails) that can be used in other places of the theme. Is that what you mean?

I was hoping that “dynamic thumbnail resizing” was common terminology and assuming this has something to do with post images..? I know that WP does it’s own image resizing so I’m not really sure what this phrase is referring to either.
I’m thinking that, between the “auto image sizing for carousels” and WP resizing, there isn’t any other reason to worry about image resizing..? (my strong suit isn’t in images)

Yeah there are various factors that go into it, and each shortcode can be different. We have added a cool feature to recent works, and all carousels that allow you to choose “fixed” or “auto” for the images. Fixed will give you a cropped version so all looks consistent in size. Auto will allow the image ratio to stay true (uncropped).

Hmmm have you cleared out your browser cache? Also try to update FF, maybe there was an update issue or its a much older version.
Not sure though, its working on our end, we checked it on 4 different machines to be sure
How can I disable the theme’s excerpt functionality and instead use a page/post plugin for a custom excerpt, (i.e., Page Excerpt plugin).

You can use the custom excerpt field that comes default in WP, that will override any of our own excerpts. As for removing ours and adding another one, that could require several steps and will also depend on the plugin. Unfortunately that is not something we can support at this time. But I would try it out and see, it may do that by default with a plugin.
