Is it possible to hide the logo only from the homepage but not the other pages?
Is it possible to change the background color of the footer widget area?

Yes it can be done with custom CSS. There is not an option to hide only the logo per page, but you can hide the entire header per page.

Hi guys,
I updated to avada 3.6 and i had the following problems:- background images on blog are not showing properly. www.treinorx.com/blog on the homw page the background looks great but on the blog section the image looks awful
- I have a few categories for new post such as: crossfit, jiu jitsu, et but now those are not working.

The blog images look correct to me. on your blog page you are using the medium layout, the images are larger there. Your home page use the recent post shortcode with the thumbnail layout, images are smaller.
Your new category pages throw a server error: Internal Server Error. Please contact your host about that one, something maybe did not upload correctly (try to reupload) or they are having issues.
Also test it by making a new category to see if it works. It may also be a permalink or plugin issue. Disable plugins to see, and reset permalinks in settings > permalinks.
If the issue persists, please signup at our support center and post a new topic in our forum. Include all the details about the issue, your site URL and version of Avada. For faster service, please include your WP and FTP login info when creating the thread. Our support team will check it out and let you know.

Hii I would like to ask if it possible to change the background color of each module?
For example if you take a look at home version number 3 where you see the 3 boxes title Responsive Design, Awesome Fusion Builder, & Incredible Options the background is white and I change it to a different custom color?
If so how can I do this? Thank you.

Hmmm those are columns so currently that is not possible out of the box, however you could do it with custom CSS. each shortcode allows for a custom class or id so you could set it up that way.
In the future, we will add background colors to columns most likely.

Hi, prepurchase question:
I have installed avada with woocommerce, its really cool but i have one problem: cant add items to the cart. When i try to add a product it goes to cart but leaves out in a second. I’ve read it can be a session var problem. Can you help me?

Hi,
I am stuck and appreciate your help.
Despite using a full width container for a text box (similar to the one you have on the demo under the woofeatured on the shop 1 template), there is padding on both left and right that does not go away. How do I remove this.
Another question is about the mega menu. I have full width ticked on the mega menu, however there is padding still.
Please advise.

Check your theme options > styling tab, under “layout options”, there is a left/right padding option for full width shortcode, http://d.pr/i/s8fG
For megamenu, what is your mega menu max width set at? In theme options > menu. Make sure that is not smaller than your site width.

I was wondering if it’s possible to make the entire portfolio image rollover clickable?
So instead of having to click the Magnifying Glass icon precisely to lightbox the image, you can click anywhere on the image/rollover color?
If not, is it possible to increase the size of the rollover icons or change them to something bigger? In the demo, I just don’t like having to precisely click on the small icons and would rather my viewers could click anymore on the image to bring up the lightbox.
Yes you can do that by disabling the image rollover, so the icons do not show at all, just the full image is clicked. To keep the image rollover and icons, and make the full image link, it will take some code adjustments.
Making the icons larger can be done with a line of CSS.

Should we be worried at all about the ‘important security update’ provided by envato on email this morning?
Our site is right up to date and we actually don’t use the listed plugins mentioned in the email so hope we are ok.
What steps are being taken so to avoid these security leaks in future?

The issue is actually 7 months old, Avada has been updated since v3.4 with the latest Rev Slider. If you are on 3.4 or higher you are fine, if you do not use Rev Slider, then you are also fine.

Hello, I really like Avada and am very happy I purchased this number 1 theme!
I have 2 problems: One problem on the main menu: The woo-commerce cart icon on the far right of the menu. The hover drop-down menu is over to left a little more than on your demo site. No matter what I do it is impossible to click on any item in the drop down list or the cart or checkout items, as it disappears faster than I can click on it! Any ideas? The second problem: I had trouble with my homepage (Shop) it was narrower than all the other pages and the sticky menu was too wide until I changed that page from boxed to default. Then it was OK. I am using the global boxed layout. I have set the site width to 1170px – is that right for desktop mode and will it still be 100% responsive for small devices? What generally should it be? Thanks.

1. We would need to see this on our forum, post a topic with your site URL so we can see. Maybe its custom CSS or child theme?
2. Yes any site width size you use will still be fully responsive on mobile devices. The shop page or any other page should not be different in size though, we can check that out on our forum also if you’d like.

I only have one problem with 3.6, I used the pricelist shortcode in the product description. In latest versions of avada the pricetable looks fine, but in 3.6 it isn´t working .

Hi. I’m working on my friends website, and he purchased your theme. We wanted to see if there is a way to change the icons? I know the icons are based on shortcodes, but I took that out and put in a web address for the “image” shortcode. However, the alignment goes off when I do. Is there a way to fix that? I screen shot what I meant:

I’m not asking for auto play – but auto “next slide” so i flips to the next slide automatically.
I have changed my language to dk_DA in wp-config, but nothing happens?
Yes that is what auto play will do. Check that option and it will autoplay through the slides at the speed you have selected for slideshows speed: http://d.pr/i/BdhY But if using a video that is also autoplaying, the slideshow speed will override the video and change slides even if the video is not done. We may need to add a new option to have more control over that.
You also need to put those language files i the correct location. wp-content > themes > Avada > languages.

It is for the Fusion Slider.
And it dose not work.
The slideshow speed will control when the slide changes, and it will auto play. However as stated above, when playing a video the video will be cut off based on the slideshow speed. There is not an individual option right now to control that independently.

Hi, is there a way to make the slider responsive for the iPads and mobiles? 
They will be responsive. If it is not working for you, you most likely have a slider fallback image inserted in page options for the page the slider is on. Look for that and remove it.
All sliders are fully responsive.

I updated the Avada 3.6 theme using the quick Wordpress update and now the content of my pages seems to be restricted to roughly 3/4 left justified. Is there a setting in the new version of the theme that will return the content to the full width of the Default Template?

Most likely the sidebar is applied, but your sidebar is empty so it just shows blank.
