Hi! I love your theme but have 2 questions before I buy it.
1) Is it possible to hide featured image on actual blog post? I want to see featured images on page with recent blog posts but I don’t want to see it again on top of actual blog post.
2) I have a custom made plugin and I am not sure whether it will work OK with this theme. If my plugin will not work would I be able to get a full refund?

2. Hmmm unfortunately no, we cannot guarantee that since it is ont our plugin, there are too many factors involved. However if it is coded to standards, it should be alright depending on what it is. What type of plugin is it? What does it do?

2. I am sorry but plugin is in Polish http://uppress.pl/better-pay-v2-sl/ It is integrated with S2Members and polish payment gateway and allows me to easily charge for subscription. I had a problem in past where the plugin didn’t work with Page Builder and I see you use Page Builder in your theme as well.

1. Yes you can easily do this with one option – could you tell me which option? I tried Edit Post -> Fusion Options -> Featured Image Width and Height and changed them to 0% but it also hides featured image from page listing recent blog posts

We are not seeing this issue on our end and have also not had any reports of it. I myself am using a Mac Pro and have an iMac and macbook laptop. Have you tried to clear your browser cache?
Also, there are several images on the home page that animate when they come into the viewport, maybe that is what you see. That can be turned o or off easily. But I assure you, there is not an issue in the theme that would cause that type of behavior

First of all, thanks for your amazing theme.
Since your last issue I’ve been figuring out how you managed to use post categories instead of portfolio categories for the different demo pages under portfolio main navigation. At least, it seems so according to your live demo, which I cannot reproduce in my downloaded 3.6.1 theme as you have named portfolio categories as cat1, cat2, etc.
However, I’m very curious to know how you can use, if so, post categories in portfolio pages.

I think I understand this question, I apologize if I have not. Each portfolio page you create can have its own set of categories assigned. in the page options, there is a “portfolio” tab in the Fusion Options box, in there you can select specific categories to show up. You can create or edit any category in the category section of portfolio admin.

1-Hi, I have purchased this theme and relized that the demo is not like the downloaded files. I have followed the steps to get the website like the demo but the max-width is stucked to 940, when in the demo it’s 1100px.
2-On the shop page, we have the main image fixed to 320px width. Even if I set it on woocommerce to 320px and regenerate all tumbnails with the pluggin, it remais at 500 px.

1. The demo content that you import is set to be 1100px (from 3.6 and higher). So this must of been changed on your end, but you can easily change it back. Go to theme options > site width and change the value to 1100px.
2. Hmmm … did you follow the steps here in #3, http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/woocommerce/
This would have to be cache if all was done correctly then, try to clear it (browser or plugin cache.)

What are the “Update Concerns” for updating to such a major update?
Example all the shortcode work I’ve done – how will the page builder effect the pages?
In the past the updates were a breeze – ftp or change themes – deleting Avada and uploading new.
What are the concerns for this update with so many GREAT updates (page builder) now?

Our builder was built for conversion of old pages, so you can open old pages, click Fusion Builder button and the page will be converted.
Also none of your page content will ever be lost no matter what, unless you modified our coded theme files.

I recently updated to v 3.5.3 of the Avada Theme – using a Child Theme.
However, none of my custom css styles OR theme options (edits, changes) are taking affect. Any idea as to why this would happen?

I emptied cache and that seemed to resolve the custom theme options issue – however, my Revolution Slider is still not allowing any new changes / edits to take place on the front end…

Hmm did you update the rev slider also? This seems to be a cache issue though, if you see changes on the backend (view the backend preview) then the only thing that could prevent that on the front is cache of some kind (plugin, browser, server)

I’d updated the Rev Slider with the Theme update, and it appears it just took the Rev Slider a bit longer to fully update on the front end after emptying the cache. All is working now. Thanks!

One more question – this time about the Header – When I pick the header with the media icons above the menu ( Version 2 ) it looks good.
The problems are bugs – when I scroll down – the first scoll down [ with the mouse middle button / wheel ] I don’t see any menu / header icons – That’s one bug, the second scroll down, the menu appears / enters first on screen on a weird way, like a weird entrance, like it was a problem that is like only half fixed.
Can you fix these 2 problems ? I will show you how it should look perfectly on another theme called Smartbox – link [link removed per author request]

These are not bugs either, all of our headers use one sticky header design. Headers 2-56 are too tall to keep the exact same header design with top bar (icons, etc). The sticky header is only meant to show the main menu and logo. It would be too tall to show all of that and take up too much space.
The sticky header animates onto the screen, that is suppose to happen, it is a separate menu that is triggered once you start scrolling and get far enough down.
That other theme you posted to (link has to be removed unfortunately) is very jerky for me when scrolling, it also does not show the header icons in the sticky, it does exactly as our does and only shows the main header area with logo and menu items. Also notice how blurry the logo gets when scrolling, there are downsides to not having it enter on its own, which is why we have it setup the way we do.

Seems you have some negative bottom margin on the logo maybe, check that in theme options settings.

I solved this problem. Thank you. Another question: For flip boxes I used images with img src in the content area but it doesn’t cover the entire box, I still have to much space like a frame and I dont want that. I there a way to have the full image in the box?

Yes those are the default styles, you could do edge to edge but it will take custom code edits on your end, try to target only the image in the flip boxes and not all the other content.

Yes as long as you are on Avada 3.6.1 you will be fine. Actually v3.6 is fine also, the latest Woo is 2.2.3 and works well with Avada 3.6.1

Hey can’t i just create the fonts manually? can i change the css file? or is there anyway on theme option i can select these? i now need to use Aileron Light font, is it possible?
Our theme includes standard system fonts, google fonts and also allows for one custom font to be uploaded. If the font you need is not in the standard or google font list, you need to upload it as a custom font which requires the four font files. Browsers need those files to display the font correctly. If it is not a google or standard font, none of your viewers or the theme will have the font source to view.

53% for mobile is pretty good, also you will see the user experience is 99/100. That matters a lot. Because in real time surfing, you do not notice it being slow at all. http://d.pr/i/XXEl
And our live demois actually about 64% if you turn off one of the sliders (layer or rev), the style selector which is only on our demo and depending on the font you are using, and other features. As well as the demo content we have on our home page, it is very large because we showcase each and every feature.
You should be scoring higher on your site as well. If not using both slider plugins, disable them or one, also check out the advcaned tab in theme options to disable options you are not using. And, in the typography section, you will see a google font settings to only load certain aspects of the font, that will speed thigns up also. http://d.pr/i/ys8V

a. Hmmm what slider are you using? That sounds strange, if you are not on 3.6.1 please update. If the issuer persists, please post this on our support forum so we can take a look for you.

The theme is Awesome but it’s rendering very badly on Google Page Speed Insights test. Is there a way you can improve the Pagespeed test score. Like by fixing the “Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content” issue or some other fixes

In this newest update I cant find how to make multiple sidebars, I´m almost sure that that was no problem to make it in Theme Option in the older version.

VERY disappointed at the recent support for this Theme. When i first purchased everything was great.Quick response helpful staff. Now i opened a ticked 4 days ago and the support team has basically ignored with the exception of 1 message that asked for the user/pass information.
I don’t even mind if they say “sorry we can’t help you” because atleast i can find another solution. Completely IGNORING customers is Unacceptable.
I would advise any potential new customers to think twice before buying this theme.

I had bought this theme a year back for our institute websites. One of them being http://pestrust.edu.in/pesps/
Must say its an amazing theme. I’ve enjoyed working on this them so far. I’ve customized the them quite a lot. Especially the header sections.
But now I plan to upgrade the website them to the new Avada version. In fact I did upgrade the theme. Unfortunately the website didn’t quite accommodate itself well to the new them. I could only see the header and nothing else. Right now I’ve reverted the theme to the old Avada version. Wanted to know what could be the issue with installing the new theme.
