Thanks for the comments. These items you are asking about have nothing to do with the builder though. And you do not have to use the page builder. simply do not click the button to turn it on. Use the “Default Editor”. There is not a need to deactivate it, just don’t click the button to use it.

1. Yes that is correct, the text size and icons will both be enlarged, that is a design decision to keep it consistent. This has always been that way.

2. Which icons? The checklist icons? They will always be to the left of the text. However you can have the text right aligned by making it right aligned in the editor window (like you would for any text).

3. Are you referring to the lines with icons like you see on this page? http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-10/

That is the separator shortcode, it can have different line styles and use an icon. The icon will always be in the center.

Overall these are not issues and have not changed from the previous versions. You can use the regular editor to align text. Icons like our font awesome icons, have an align option in the shortcode.

I mean I want to use 100% fullwidth on posts..

1. Yes the page builder is available for both pages and posts.

2. Yes you can have posts full width 100% now because we have a site width control in theme options, this allows you to set all site content to 100% width. This will be a site wide option though, and not just for blog posts. however, the portfolio posts do have an individual option to make the post 100% width independently of theme options, I’ll make a note to add this same option for blog posts as well to give more control.

You can insert our button shortcode directly into a layer. So I would create the button in the generator then go to the text tab (not visual tab) and copy the shortcode, then paste into a layer.

Use the full button shortcode, no class.

Hi, I think the problem is that I do not have a shortcode generator button in the editor. I updated to WP 4.0 and have read that it disappears when you upgrade. How do I get the shortcode generator button to re-appear?

It sounds like you need to update Avada then. Older versions were not compatible with WP4.0.

I have also noticed that plugins such as woocommerce were not included after i installed the theme. can you install fro your doc when you login to my account or send me files to upload? thanks

We do not include WooCommerce (or bbPress or Contact Form 7) because it is a free plugin. you can install that on your end, go to the plugin section of your admin and add a new plugin and search for “WooCommerce”. It will be the first one you see. Follow the on screen prompts to install the plugin.

Yes you can use Avada for a real estate site, here is an example from one of our users, http://www.urbanvue.com

Although, we have not used that plugin you mentioned before so cannot guarantee that it works. If an issue does come up, you can post on our support forum and our team can check it out and see if we can make necessary changes if its possible.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I shall further test it and update you up soon. It’s still at development stage btw, everything is still running on my own pc.

Checked my plugins, only the theme plugins are activated all the while, and still getting a blank page.

The whole story started like this, I wanna create a homepage, so I use the fusion builder. After I put everything up, nothing shows up. I thought I might have done it wrongly, and so i use the pre build theme but I received the same result (blank page).

So I thought the fusion builder might be unstable or not functioning properly, hence I proceed to use shortcode to make my homepage up.

The homepage is just a simple header menu, a video in the middle, with a large contact button below it and 4 more buttons under that contact button.

The youtube shortcode works so does the columns where I planned to put my buttons/image but just when I use the button shortcode, the page turn all white again.

I shall proceed to the forum and seek for assistance too.

Hmmm this sounds like a memory issue maybe, or a bad installation of WP maybe. Yes please post on the forum so we can look at this firsthand. Include your WP and FTP login info in the private thread form so we can take a look.

Thanks for the purchase! Does it give you any error message or just keeps rotating? This may be a bad installation of WP or the theme or both. Since its a fresh installation, I would try to reinstall.

Also, just to make sure, you do have the parent theme installed also, correct? It is required with the child theme.

1. Our shop uses WooCommerce plugin so anything you can do with that plugin you can do with Avada. What you need may require an additional plugin but it should be able to be done

2. Yes, one or two sidebars can be put any any page or post.

Followup: The slider is still not working properly after update to 3.6.1 AND, now there is no main navigation menu on mobile?

Even easier, if you’re using 3.6 or higher, go to the pre-built template section of fusion builder and select the page you want.

What you are looking to do is use the full width short code with content inside.

Hey! 1. For the header, check out the header padding and logo padding options on their respective tabs in theme options.

2. The shadow is part of the slider skin. Go to the appearance tab for layer or revolution slider and change it or turn it off there.

Hey! Thanks for the purchase. Importing the demo content is going to give you all the pages on our demo. That’s the purpose of it. However, it should not slow your site down. If it did, then there must be something else going on. To remove content from Wordpress, check out the WP reset plugin. It will do what you need and allow you to start over. Thanks!
