Hey Pirenko. I found the samba_theme_options in the database and moved everything to my local. It all worked and broght over the theme options to the theme options area of the site.

What the database doesn’t save are the ‘Single Portfolio Custom Options’ and the ‘Samba Slide Custom Options.’ Is there another location in the db to find those.

I have a question regarding Google maps. I’ve tried a number of Google map plugins and I’m seeing the same issue all of the time. I’m embedding a map onto one of the pages, but for some reason the maps do not load sometimes. I then have to stop the page from loading and I’ll refresh it. It will work then properly the second time. Sometimes it works fine the first time. I’ve a video of the issue here: http://youtu.be/JzA3W6RuARM?hd=1

Another question. I’m trying to replicate the same design as another website, but it’s being quite hard.

I want my page: http://www.grahamfifteen.com/millencapital/?page_id=234 to be shown as this one: http://bienvillecapital.com/approach

But it’s quite difficult to do that. I’ve used the Visual Composer on a “Page-classic layout” template, 2 columns, 1st=”Single image” and 2nd=”Text block”.

And also customizing the CSS for that page via top-right button [</> CSS]. (See screenshot: http://www.christianhart.com/SambaIssue.jpg):

Hi there, I’m not sure if this is a theme issue, but I have this problem: In my testing site: http://www.grahamfifteen.com/millencapital/ I have a page called “Appex Wealth” with [Custom CSS] defined: http://www.christianhart.com/SambaIssue.jpg

When I click on the “Appex Wealth” menu, it loads with extra paddings on left and top, paddings which I removed on the custom CSS. If I reload the page, it just gets displayed OK. It seems that the first time doesn’t load the “Custom CSS” typed in the Page Editor.

I have a similar issu with the contact page. With the window NOT maximized (say, about 800-900 pixels more or less), when I click on the “Contact US” menu, it loads without left margin at all (the form is sticked to the left menu-bar). If I reload the page, it just gets displyed OK.

Any idea?

zartzart apparently my site is infected but google does not see it. according antivirus plugin would be on zartzart.fr I think it would be a malvaillant script, but I do not know where your script or the index page in the tree on the FTP to be able to control the code, can you guide me?

I use the theme samba in my website : www.zartzart.fr. I have 4 questions :

1- How make a “SINGLE WIDE LAYOUT” in my homepage ? In the templates available on my homepage the “single wide layout” style does not exist, then there has any other. ( I want in my homepage one large picture and below the text, a photo, a list and writing excerpts from my latest work)

2- How to display the text written in each portfolio items ? For example I will wish that my last 3 content create a porfolio items appear homepage or in other page . I tried with a samba plugin but it only post with the items and not with the content written in the portfolio items , yet it is here that this is all my text content. this will also allow myself to create a news rubriqiue reprennant all contents of my portfolio items

3-I noticed that wordpress better manage the content when it is in a post , so is it possible to transform the content written in every portfolio items into articles ? For example plugins would work . It would be much simpler. I can not do it manually when I venture duplicate content and thus be penalized by google

4- How make a blackground color in one page ? For example : black in the homepage

Hi Pirenko! There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer coming out now in September that have been made better suited for SEO and compatible with SEO Yoast plug in. I’ve noticed that the VC plug in that we use in the Samba theme is tweaked for the Samba theme.

Will you get your tweaked VC plug in updated as the original WPBakery VC plug in?

SEO is one of the most important aspects of building my website where I’m now using the Samba theme so this is greatly important to me!

I have a problem with the Search & Tags. My customer would like to be able to search the tags associated to their portfolio items, but it doesn’t work: No Results Found “SEARCHEDTAG”

It might be a problem because I don’t see the point having tags in the portfolio if they are not searchable.

How can I update the theme?

Hi, I wanted to have a masonry of images on the homepage and I started to achieve this by creating portfolio items and then using the masonry portfolio page etc. Works well. Thanks. However, can I set it up so that any image on the masonry page can be linked to a lightbox gallery? Instead of going to an individual portfolio item? Or rather, when someone clicks on an image part of the masonry, it enlarges it as part of a gallery where they can navigate to the next one? (in a slider or a gallery). I hope I am making sense! How do I achieve that? Thanks.
