Hey, sorry for bothering once again, but still have few questions:
1. My search field does not erase the text automatically when starting to type.
2. Is there a way to have portfolio names under the images centralized and having just a stroke overlay. Link to the individual portfolio page would be from whole thumb. Like it is now: http://www.terranova.fi/tuotteemme/3. Is it possible to make screen scroll down under the filters in mobile so the person would not think that nothing happened as he only sees the filters?
4. When I go to contact page from WP-admin it says to me that I should update Visual Composer for new version. Even I click yes for update. Next time it will give the same message.

1. Have you translated all occurrences of “Start Typing…” in your .po file?
2. That would take some custom modding – the only style that supports the title under each image without hovering is the default one but the whole image is not a link by default as well
3. Unfortunately this would also take some custom javascript development

Is there a way I can use the blog as the “variable height & meta overlaid” but also include the social icon counts, number of comments, and next post preview that is included in the “fullscreen with meta under” style.
I have looked through the functions.php file and see where the social sharing and next post display is at but I am not familiar enough with php to correctly do this on my own.

Hello! May be you could suggest me a solution for placing an element (icon) over the nectar slider? I mean I just try to place a social network icon over the slider and z-index (I use simple HTML/CSS code in Raw HTML module) doesn’t really help, even with some monstrous value like “99999999999” May be there’s a solution for this? I can’t see any html in the slider caption fields other than the regular text – can you please paste the desired button html in there or if you’re trying to get the icon to stay on top of all of the slides as they change, you’ll need to add it into the functions.php file in the nectar_slider_display function

Greetings! I’ve had problems with adding ANY of the background music plugins. I use Soundy Plugin for sound and Background Music Player Lite, in other themes without any problems. Could you tell me why they fail work with the theme?
The Plugin authors tell me that something has to do with jQuery load. Which JQuery version does the theme use?

is it possible to make pictures on a page in lightbox opposed to just the home page? for example, on my page:

the first post titled, “Erin” when you click on it you see the expanded image. However, when you go to that page:

and click on a picture it opens up expanded on a separate page. is there a way to make it like lightbox on the homepage when you click on it and expand it on the same page?

You can set any portfolio element used on any page to lightbox only – is that what you’re having trouble with or am I misunderstanding a different issue you’re facing?

I am trying to add a font to the website so that it can be used as a Nectar Slider Heading.
Is there any way to do this with a .ttf file downloaded from DaFont? Uploading it to the fonts folder of the theme hasn’t worked – is it due to the format?

I have also conserved the .ttf to .eot .woff .svg and uploaded those to the font directory as well with no luck.

If I have a 2 col VC row, in the left I have a title arranged left, in the right I have a button arranged right. It looks good in a normal browser but in responsive mode I need the button to be under the title but both centred in the middle how do I go about that please

However it’s a bit strange as when you go through them to the end it gets stuck and only ever shows Snooker then Portraits, on the blog one it shows nothing for the last post – any ideas what i have done wrong?

Since the link is using the default WP function – the standard behavior is for it to not display on the end of the posts i.e. the last one. You’re probably looking to also add a prev post button, but the design would most likely need to be altered to accommodate since stacking them on top in 2 rows might look odd
Thanks bud, not so worried about the previous link, it’s just the function I have copied doesn’t work correctly, it does work fine in the blog area with the last post not having the link at all – I feel something isn’t correct with copying the function as I have and adding it to the portfolio ??
In VC I want to use 1/4 – 1/2 1/4 but narrow the 1.4 left and right cols down even further is that the best option? Or do I use full width and add left and right padding?
Basically I want to centre some text but have it in a block with a left and right gap of say 200px either side?

1. Have you tried deactivating Salient to ensure this only occurs when the theme is active
2. You can remove the portfolio dates in the options panel in the portfolio tab

You can set the autorotate in the slider element settings using a millisecond value e.g. “5000” would give you a 5 second auto rotation

Check that…I was on the most current version. Apparently the bottom of your General Settings page says 4.0 when 4.5.22 is installed. So yeah, on newest version…not sure how to make hover text override work.

If you could give me some help on why the the black and white lines are showing up on nectar sliders in Safari & Firefox that would be much appreciated as I need to get this live.
As I mentioned above, I have left the custom css in but it’s making all nectar sliders with multiple sliders behave erratically and not correcting the 1 pixel black & white lines that are showing up on some nectar sliders.

I’ve read that it is possible to get a sticky menu on any mobile device with a special custom css code, right?
I’d like to use Justified Image Grid with FooBox lightbox. Is it compatible?
Any problems with WorPress 4.0?

1. Yes but you’d have to disable the Salient version of VC first – which can be handled in the admin panel but then you’d also lose a lot of the custom theme elements.
2. Yes – it’s possible to make the header sticky in mobile via a css snippet
3. I actually haven’t tested with that plugin but the odds are it might conflict with the built in lightbox (prettyphoto) so you might need to disable that script/css
4. No known issues for WP 4.0

JIG has Pretty Photo as standard Lightbox, but FooBox is smarter and is a payed recommended Lightbox for JIG. In the Admin Panel of FooBox you are able to deactivate the scripts of any Lightbox. So there shouldn’t be problems at all.
